Best ice cream place I’ve been to so far and prices aren’t too bad. Both times that I’ve gone the lines have been real long. That says alot about their ice cream. Although it may detract others, I find the farm atmosphere to be cool. I’ll always support small businesses that take pride in their end product. I just wish the drive wasn’t so far from Wolcott.

Cute place, great ice cream. The owner is a complete jerk though. We were driving in close to closing time. They lets us wait in line for 30 minutes and then as we got up to the window the owner said he would not serve us. If they weren’t going to serve us they could have mentioned it while we were in line. That’s just horrible customer service.

I love love love Rich’s farm. Great portion sizes for the price– I am an ice cream WHORE and i’m usually happily satisfied with a SMALL portion(2-scoops). A lot of flavor profiles to choose from and none of them disappoint– try their seasonal flavors! Favorite so far has to be the black raspberry brownie XD *ANDYOUMUSTGETTHEWAFFLECONEANDWHIPPEDCREAM!

Excellent ice cream, waffle cones are great. Bit pricey though, and cash only downfall

The ice cream, itself, is great. Rating just on that it would be a five star review. The kids working there are usually polite and patient with customers who don’t have their minds made up. The farm definitely keeps customer service in mind! The price is a little high. Not terribly, but not great either. Not really enough to stop anyone from going, but worth the mention. My only real complaint is outside the farm’s control. If you go there in the summer in the evening: expect to wait. A lot. You’ll be stuck on the road waiting to get in. You’ll be waiting to get a parking spot. You’ll definitely be waiting a while to get served. Almost definitely waiting for a spot to sit.

Went with my best friend for the first time this summer, and let me tell you, the ice cream here is literally the best I’ve ever had. I got the fluffer nutter ice cream the first time I went with her, which brought back memories of when I went to camp when I was younger. They had fluffer nutter sandwiches for lunch, and were quite popular with campers and counsellors alike. The first bite of this ice cream brought back even more memories of me sitting in the grass for lunch and digging into a gooey, messy sandwich, but without the mess associated with it. Makes me miss having the camp to go to every summer a ton, since they closed when I was still in high school. I got the soft serve vanilla the second time, plain. I know, I’m boring sometimes with my ice cream choices, but I wanted to see what this soft serve was all about. Soft serve vanilla is a huge favorite of mine, and it also had to be the best soft serve I’ve ever had.

Amazing ice cream… some of the creamiest I’ve ever had! The portions here are enormous and keep in mind that they only accept cash. I got a kiddie cone of caramel swirl and it was more than enough ice cream(and that’s saying a lot because I’m an ice cream addict). My cone was just a regular cone though, so i think I’ll try the waffle cone next time. This is a must try kind of place!

Love love love this place! Very good ice cream and nice layout on a farm with picnic tables. Gets a little crowded during peak hours but that is expected with any good place. Their cookie monster ice cream is to die for. Rich farms offers many flavorful & unique ice cream options and toppings. The portions are plentiful for a decent price. This place is a must try! BTW its cash only!

Probably the best ice cream I’ve ever had. Went on a Thursday evening around 7:30, and it was packed. I ordered the Black Cherry Vanilla and it was delicious. Huge pieces of cherries were mixed into the excellent vanilla ice cream. An order of ice cream is huge.

Hands down the best ice cream i’ve ever had. The toasted almond is amazing. Friendly service and beautiful scenery too. Wish i lived a little closer so I could come here more often!

Arrived around 8:20, didn’t get ice cream until about an hour later. But it was well worth the wait, ice cream is very rich and creamy. It is my go to for ice cream shops, even though it is a little far from me. Just proves how awesome the ice cream is. Was a little upset since they did not have coconut on the menu that particular day, but maybe they ran out due to it being so late. Also if you would like a waffle cone, it’s best to arrive earlier in the day. By the time I reached the order window they were all out.

We had the brown cow, jersey cow and sweet cream. The sweet cream was the best by far. The sweet cream tasted a little too buttery for my taste. The brownies in the brown cow weren’t as fudgey as I was hoping for. The chocolate ice cream was good, but was missing something. The waffle cone was very good. The hard part about writing this is that when you have ferris acres creamery in newtown as a competitor, it’s hard to compare. Overall good ice cream, just doesn’t match ferris acres though.

Very good ice cream, and I’m not even a fan of hard ice cream! I remember getting their Cookie Monster ice cream(blue vanilla ice cream with Oreo cookie pieces) as a kid and being delighted. I also remember their Chocolate being very decadent and their Peaches and Cream being very fruity and fresh. If I’m not mistaken, they have soft serve as well which is my forte, and since they make their ice cream there, it’s been consistently good. I haven’t visited in ages, but I look forward to returning sooner rather than later. They also sell raw milk which I’m very much interested in trying.

Awesome ice cream on a farm! They have an incredible menu with tons of different FLAVORS! The line is always long, but worth the wait. I would recommend Cookie Monster or cookie dough. Also their whipped cream is homemade and always fresh and delish.

This place is the real deal when it comes to home made ice cream. All of their flavors are fantastic and I will happily come back here again. Note all of their flavors are fairly standard as in they don’t have anything exotic.

Sorry, Rich Farm, but your ice cream and milkshakes are not rich in flavor and texture. I like supporting the farm, but otherwise I wouldn’t make the trip to Rich Farm Ice Cream Shop because it didn’t dazzle taste buds. My friend and I made the trek to Oxford hoping to get a good cone and a milkshake. My friend got a small black cherry vanilla waffle cone and I got a coffee milkshake. The cone – which was a really good size considering they classified it as a small – tasted pretty good, according to my friend, and the waffle cone was decent. The coffee milkshake was thick, but tasted kind of icy and really lacked any substantial coffee flavor. I ended up just throwing it out after a few struggling sips, a shame considering it was over $ 6. But again, I’m good with it because I’m supporting the farm. Rich Farm Ice Cream Shop has a lovely setting, with picnic tables and benches scattered around in a small area, overlooking a nice farm. They conveniently have an ATM by the front counters since it’s cash only. The staff is nice enough, and seems to be able to handle crowds if it gets busy. There are really no other places around, so I’m guessing Rich Farm gets high ratings solely for that reason in addition to being situated in a nice farm and boasting homemade ice cream, milk, and waffle cones. For my friend and I, however, our ice cream treats didn’t hit the spot.

Cash only.(They have an ATM, so you’re not totally screwed) The maple walnut ice cream was absolutely frickin FANTASTIC. It was a zoo, the line moved quickly though. I’m a little disgusted I hadn’t come here earlier. Can’t wait to go back and try more.

Somehow* my excellent and creamy toasted almond and butter crunch cup came to $ 4.25 after tax(and a significant wait since stuff moves slower up here at this cool spot). *But gladly since it’s cash only For those who care, they’ve been written up on the Times and on for their fresh ice cream.
