Specialties
Merge Studio & Gallery takes a holistic approach to creativity: you can start the day with a cup of gourmet coffee, hop into a fitness class, and then spend an afternoon learning the ins and outs of watercolor painting. The studio’s dynamic classes offer something for adult artists and pint-sized Picassos alike. There’s also an array of hands-on crafting sessions, where you can learn how to make your own jewelry or mold and fire your own pottery, just like the first humans did at the first arts ‘n’ crafts centers. The space also hosts BYOB painting parties and birthday parties for children.
History
Established in 2011.
Merge Studio & Gallery was started in a space
on Washington St. in Oxford 2011, in 2013 we bought
our own building at 33 Pleasant St. So we would be
able to grow our business. This 5000 sq. ft. 110 year
old building had not been used in 30 years. We renovated
And added space for a coffee shop, Hair salon and apartment.
Now we are able to offer more art classes and host more than
One party at a time.

Business Owner
I have a B.F.A. from Grand Valley State University and have
been working as an artist for the 19 years. As my girls grew and
started school I realized that the art was missing from our schools
and community. I came up with the idea to bring art to the small town.
