Pretty good local place portions are weird however. And it does seem like the menu never changes. Best thing on the menu worth he price is the chili.

Bad service boring food and well this place is the one to skip it’s just not that good. You can not seat yourself at the bar and the servers are so inattentive that all I can say is why bother.

Tonight the service was horrible! It took 25 minutes to place our order or to get waited on. It was not crowded. When we tried to get a servers attention they seemed to ignore our party. There were no water refills. After dinner no one came by after our plates were cleared. Then after 20 more minutes of waiting we asked for the manager who took 15% off the bill. By the way, we were not even offered their «petite» desert. Eaten there before, unfortunately this the worst service ever received there. We were there for 1 ½ hours.

This place is what I would like to call «old reliable». If all else fails I come here. I enjoy this place very much. The service is always very friendly and attentive. I love the food and drink there but my favorite thing to get is definitely the shrimp and grits. Flavorful and buttery and amazing.
Is the décor and music dated? Yes, but I think that’s what I like about it. Sometimes you wanna listen to some 70s and 80s pop and chill while eating a good meal. It is quite small so seating on weekends can be limited and sometimes you’re forced to share a table.

This was my first time here my wife decided to have our sons brunch get together here. Well let me tell you hands down from the front door to the back door they got everything right. The food was so good that I wish you guys had a location up here in NJ because I would go tonight. They went out their way to make sure all 42 of our guest felt at home and they nail it. Me being in this business and knowing how hard it is to make sure all GUESTS feel that feeling is a Daily task we all wish and hope for. But this one thing that did it for me and my guest… We had a cake for my sons celebration and some of my guest wanted milk with their cake and they didn’t have milk so the ran to the store to buy milk just for my guest… You talk about hospitality well their it is at its best!!!

Wonderful little spot. WE went on a fridigly cold day in winter and it was warm and cozy. The food was fab. Got the lobster bisque and I am still thinking about it months later. Everything we had was soo good!

This was a new experience for me. A KitBar!?! I have never heard of this sort of venue before; a bar and a kitchen all in one. The setting was great with little clusters of chairs around the bar and kitchen. A great evening where people are encouraged to chat and visit. The relaxed atmosphere was delightful. Okay… For the food… our party tried a variety of dishes and every item was flavorful. I had their version of a French Dip. Rather than using the Au Jus I opted for the Jalapeño Mayo which was amazing.
This is a great place and I give my highest recommendation: what fun!

Excellent food and the waiters were TOP NOTCH! I look forward to returning to this establishment. A must try: shrimp and grits, tilapia with mango salsa and naked Wings (omg)!

I had the privilege of dining at this establishment, at a company happy hour during the 4^th quarter of 2015. If you have never been, I would highly recommend the lobster cones, but anything you order will be delicious. The layout is essentially a large, center bar, which takes up most of the restaurant’s real estate, with some additional table seating along the walls of the restaurant. Within the center of this bar is the kitchen, where you can see and smell the food that’s being prepared and cooked before it’s served. This enhances the dining experience by consolidating the back-​end and front-​end restaurant operations; very cool concept.
I will be back at some point. Great place to bring a date, celebrate an occasion, or mingle with coworkers for a company happy hour!

Let me tell you that this place so so great. I’ve never been before and met with friends for brunch and enjoyed every second. The layout is fun and inviting. I loved the KitBar! It’s really cool seeing your food prepared in front of you
Andrew was so amazing. He was fun, personable without being over baring. My favorite dish was the shrimp and grits. Best I had since coming from NOLA. The portions and price were just right. Will come back again and again. Love it!

Live right around the corner and never been here before. We had the chicken wings which were fantastic in the sauce they make, the chili was spot on. The cuban sandwich was to diee for and the burger was delicious. Will deffinatly be returning.

Went here to celebrate Valentine’s Day. Love the set up and that it is a lot of bar seating. It is fun to see the kitchen in the center of the bar. The pear martini and mango spiced mojitos were awesome! We got the lobster cones for an app. They were ok… not bad, not noteworthy. I got the sirloin with the grits. Grits and the bourbon sauce were incredible. Steak was over cooked. Daddy got the tequila fish. Good, moist, perfect size. Service was great in the beginning and then the attentiveness slowed down. Glad we had reservations because there is no place to get a drink at the bar while you wait.

I’ve lived in this area for 9 yrs but just tried this place out for the first time recently. A buddy of mine recommended trying their shrimp and grits. I’m a huge lover of shrimp and grits. I ordered them on a Saturday night to go. As you can see from the picture, this is what I received. A bit pricey and the portion was a little small. I have to admit though, this dish was pretty good! The grits had a great flavor! It was a rich cheesy with a hint of lemon flavor. That was a little different for me but very delicious! The shrimp were really good as well! I’ll be checking this place out again and will update my review.

I went for lunch recently, and following are the reasons, why I like this restaurant:
1. Great ambiance with bar height tables and center fire place with chef’s assembling dishes in the center
2. Tasted their creole based dishes, they were very good
3. The best of all, the staff was very committed to make your dining experience special. Multiple people stopped by to ensure we were doing ok and if there was anything we need.
I look forward to going for dinner soon.

The customer service here is excellent! I went out tonight to celebrate with a great friend and the staff and manager (Bill) treated us so well! I always love the food here. Tonight I had the guacamole (happy hour special). It was ok. The naked wings were average. I liked the tequila dipping sauce. The shrimp and grits are always phenomenal! We tried a couple of the local Maryland wines and I really did love those. The one suggestion I would have is to expand the happy hour offerings just a bit. There were a couple meat offerings but no chicken or seafood. But other than that, great service, good food. I’ll be back!

First time at Stone’s Cove. I have been dyingggg to try this resturant and finally got the chance to go as a part of a birthday party (side note: they will store a cake for you!)! I had the Creole Shrimp on Johnnie cakes and it was devinee! I also had the chicken ceasar flatbread (the chicken was a bit dry). Overall I have found my new chic place to eat in Owings Mills! The two drinks I had were also EXCELLENT! (Raspberry sweet tea and the Sangria.
The only thing is the small plates are a bit pricey to be an every week thing for me but is definitely worth it as an indulgence. You will not be disappointed!

I’m gonna give this place a 3.5 star.
I went here with my parents because my mother received cards for some free flatbreads. The CFO went to her business to advertise this place, so we could not turn down free food!
My impression of the décor: I like it. It’s speaks to its name «kitbar» where the kitchen is located in the center, surrounded by the seating arrangement for the customers. I thought it was pretty neat. You get to see them make the food in front of you! I do really enjoy the atmosphere here.
The staff were there doing their job. Not as crazy friendly as you would hope, but they’re doing their job like I said. Just wished they checked up on us more frequently. Not to sound needy though.
We ordered the flatbreads as an appetizer. Got the spinach and artichoke and chicken caesar. The wait for the orders were fairly decent. Enough time to grab a drink and talk amongst your group. Our apps came and we gobbled them down quickly. The spinach and artichoke was my favorite flatbread. I saw a lot of people posting pictures of the smores one too, but I didn’t feel like sweets at that time. Good for a dessert though! The spinach and artichoke flatbread was so cheesy. Chicken caesar was alright. They prosciutto on it, which I’m always a fan of. I did notice one thing though, they were both kind of salty.
My father had a seafood gumbo (their soup of the day) and I took a bite. it was spicy, just like our waitress said. Not impressed though. The bowl it was presented in was cute though. Just felt like it didn’t have enough pizzaz to it. I expected a little more out of a seafood gumbo. Perhaps more seafood?
I had the Jalapeño-​Chicken salad. It came out look pretty good! I did enjoy the chucks of chicken and other components it came with. However, the dressing was far too much. I couldn’t enjoy the salad portion at all. I felt like a lot of the foods here were over-​seasoned. My only tip when ordering salad is to ask them to separate the dressing from the salad, so you can add the right amount yourself. As I was eating the chicken salad, I realized that I didn’t taste ANY jalapeño at all, I had to double check my menu to make sure it even said jalapeño. I guess I expected the salad to have that kick in it.
My sister ordered a cobb salad, which she made the smart move of asking for the dressing to be on the side. Parents both ordered crab cakes.$ 21. 3 lumps of crab that didn’t look that full. Imo, not worth it. They told me it was good though.
Overall, I’d come back for happy hour or something and order a few orders of the flatbreads. I think they did great on that. They were gone pretty quickly though. Flatbreads ranges up to $ 13.

This was my first time going to Stone Cove and I was highly impressed. Here is why:
1. The service was amazing! Very friendly and attentive. It was very refreshing and the staff were very sweet.
2. The food was great. The best burger I had in a long time. The mashed potatoes had a little kick in them and I really enjoyed it. My two best friends got flats breads that looked amazing.
3. The atmosphere is very chill and fun. A great place for happy hour, date night or girls.
4. I do wish that they have more dessert options. Overall I would come here any day of the week.

I will first describe the restaurant so it’s not a surprise: It’s a huge bar. There are about 5 – 7 tables, but the restaurant is essential you seated at the bar. I don’t consider this place kid appropriate although I’m sure they’ll be kid friendly if need be. They prepare your food and drinks before you. I wasn’t feeling the concept initially, but I kinda like it. The bartenders were great. We fell in love with Andrew, Brianna & Natalie as well as the manager, Chris.
Now… About the food. Yes, yes, yes!!! **jumps up and down and screams* Yaasssssss!!!
The service is amazing, the food is amazing… What else do you need. Everything is Amahhhhhhhzing!
I ordered the creamy onion soup. It’s very similar to a potato soup minus the potatoes. The shrimp & grits… Yes, Jesus, yes. If you go there for anything, make sure it’s these two things. I will warn you, it’s so good that you’ll grip the table and fall into a Meg Ryan moment. Yes, that good. No lie.
For drinks, I had the cucumber basil splash & then something martini’d with a pear. Both were good. Both I would order again, but… The pear one. That one made me instantly happy, clapping for no reason and begging for a hug from my dining partner. I don’t know what they put in it, but I’m definitely getting that again!
My friend ordered the same that I did, but the Greek salad. She was in love with that salad.
Will I be back here again? Umm… Yes! The food & drinks here cause you to sing a happy song and swing your feet after every bite. So… Yes, please sign me up! In fact we are gonna make this place our spot.

This was one of my faves when first opened. Still a very cool, fun atmosphere and friendly folks who wear fedoras. Free parking in an adjoining parking lot so that’s always a bonus. But there’s a big but in this review, unfortunately…
BUT…I recently got a takeout order including a lobster bisque soup for $ 8 which is shown in my uploaded photo. Put it this way, one inch and a half of of soup in a styrofoam cup which was only a dollar less than the prime burger is what I received. What?!? Yeah no bueno. No good. Not going to get that again, that’s for sure. Oh and we found a smidgen of lobster remnant at the bottom of the last centimeter of doled out bisque. I felt like Oliver asking for «one more spoon of gruel please». To be fair, it wasn’t as bad as gruel.
Look, the bottom line is that this lobster bisque and a few other items are a price ripoff. Just calling it like ok see it. Would I go there for burgers and a fun atmosphere? Absolutely. But I’d prefer to have consistent servings, or at least, not pay for a sample size of what was just a decent soup.
