Amazing! They have wonderful food — I LOVE their Cubano Sandwich. The service is delightful and prompt. The atmosphere is very nice. It is a MUST for anyone looking for a five star meal!

Wonderful atmosphere, although quiet… I hope more people discover this hidden gem on hwy 54. This is home to the best Cuban sandwich in Owensboro. Good service and prices are affordable for the quality that you receive. Good deals for lunch as well, check their Facebook page for that days deals.

This place is AMAZING! We loved EVERYTHING! First of all, Carla is such an awesome person! She is personable, fun, sweet, and an outstanding server and cook. She really makes you feel welcome :) The food is outstanding. We both had the Volcano Fajitas. They were phenomenal! The best fajitas I’ve ever had, and I eat a lot of fajitas! The meat and veggies were all cooked perfectly, and even the rice and beans were extra good. Dessert-had to go with the double chocolate cheesecake, yum! Almost forgot-the salsa is fresh and delicious too :) If I am ever back here I will be back! No doubt about that. The restaurant is very pretty inside too :) Stop in here for one of the best dining experiences of your life, and at a reasonable price!

While visiting Owensboro for the weekend, my BFF took us here for dinner to get something different from the usual chain restaurant options. We were really pleased with our experience. The restaurant is really clean and nicer than your typical chain restaurant. Karla, who is the head cook, was also our server and she was kind, friendly and took excellent care of us. She described her menu as «fusion» with Mexican, Asian and Cuban inspired dishes. I had the Cuban sandwich and it was really good. The meat was tender and well seasoned, the bread was soft and I enjoyed the black beans, which was well cooked. Hubby had the braised pork dish and he thoroughly enjoyed it. My BFF really enjoyed her fried plantains. The chips and salsa was good and fresh, but not spicy. Overall, we enjoyed our food and it was a nice change of pace.

Great selection of Mexican, Mediterranean, Cuban cuisine. I’ve eaten here 5 times now, always trying new menu items. Never disappointed, very reasonable prices, servers are on the ball! Try the volcano factory! I like the atmosphere, always happy so clap along if you feel like a room without a roof.

I tried this place on a Saturday night at 6:30pm. We entered the restaurant & there was only one other party there. We were sat & helped very quickly. The server brought chips and salsa. The chips weren’t hot at all, which bummed me out. The interior is nicely appointed & a nice change from the Mexican restaurant that used to be in here. I’ve heard from people around town say that this is supposed to be a «fusion» type cuisine. I don’t know what fusion it’s trying to be, other than Mexican food. The menu is full of different twists on Mexican food, but nothing sounds amazing. I decided on the Santa Fe burrito, which is chopped beef, rice & beans in a burrito for $ 10.99. At that price, I’d think you’d get some chicken or steak, but I digress. The food arrived promptly & the burrito was huge. The beef tasted like canned hormel beef. The rice & beans inside were okay but tasted canned as well. The burrito was okay, not amazing or great. Others at my table had an issue with cold mashed potatoes and cold French fries. I like that it’s a new place & trying new things, but I wasn’t impressed & the 3 other people with me weren’t impressed with the food. The service was great, but the food wasn’t.

What a great break from normal chain restaurants. We enjoyed atmosphere. Food was great and margaritas were top notch.

Tried it out on recommendation of a friend. Flaming cheese was his big selling point. It was just a glob of cheese on fire nothing special. I had the volcano(like fajitas combo) it was okay but toned down for the locals needed it more spicy. Points for presentation the bowl was awesome. Just not the best food. Wife had the salmon(Luke warm) nothing special. Asparagus swimming in butter,(not her fave) and a baked potato at least you can’t screw that up. I had high hopes. Maybe expectations were too high. Service was friendly the tablecloth was filthy we had to flip it over. The Bar seems well done. Probably not going back.

I’m glad something like this is opening in Owensboro. Unlike the many mindless Mexican restaurants, the menu here seems to be thought out with a lot of variety. I forgot the name of the dish I had but it was very tasty. They had the fried plantains as a side dish for me and it was very tasty. The place was very neat and had a simple décor and staff was friendly. The food was well prepared and not greasy. It actually was comfortable feeling, you know what I’m talking about!!! I hope this place gets well established.
