As a full service salon featuring Haircuts, Haircolor, Extensions, and retail, Soffia Via also features one of Kansas City’s FIRST blowout bars. A menu of styles to choose from with additional services such as: deep conditioning treatments, scalp massage, color refreshers. Our unique salon is located in the Deer Creek Marketplace. Booth rental and commissioned stylists specialize in color, cutting and extension work. The Blowout bar features flat panel televisions and great music for your relaxing visit. The bar can be used for private parties, bridal groups, and teaching hair styling classes to our clientele. Partial proceeds for blowouts go to charitable events on the day of your blowout or specialty style.

History

Established in 2012.

The concept for Soffia Via came from the emerging trend on our coasts for Blowout bars. Soffia Via (Italian: «to blow away) is Kansas City’s answer to this trend, customized for our community with full service hair care. It was also established in response for the growing need for a blowout bar by those who have recently had surgery or are undergoing rehabilitation, for those who physically cant blow dry their own hair.

Business Owner

In the industry since 2002, Brent has constantly been driven by learning, exploring, and teaching new avenues of cosmetology. In 2007 he became certified in Great Lengths Extensions and found a new calling: Giving people something they cannot naturally have, either volume or added length. The meticulous craft and art of hair coloring, cutting, extensions, and the power of being surrounded by like talented people and amazing clients has kept Brent searching for the latest and greatest tricks of the trade and work in the field. Soffia Via is his first salon, something of his dreams, realized. A unique environment designed to reflect his personality and with an inviting atmosphere.
