Great prices, huge selection, clean store, friendly staff. Most of the employees are knowledgeable about wine and liquor and can help you find something if you’re not sure what to get.

This is Lukas Liquor LITE. I actually feel a little guilty when I go here instead of Lukas, but it is a fine substitute if I’m further South and going to Hen House. Good selection of wines and beer. Prices are pretty close to Lukas. Not too shabby!

This is the best liquor store in south Johnson County in my opinion. Way cheaper that Lukas Liquor and everywhere else I’ve been to, the service is always very friendly and helpful, the store is very clean and always fully stocked, and the store itself is HUGE– aka they have just about anything you could imagine. (Especially the wine and beer selection! As a lover of both a good brew and a good Merlot, my first time in was like a 21+ kid in an adult candy shop!)
If I can’t find it here, I pretty much give up, and if I ever find it cheaper anywhere else… we’ll that probably won’t ever happen so we will cross that bridge when we get there, eh?

MDL is your average neighborhood liquor store. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the store is bright and clean. They have a decent selection of beer, wine, and liquor, easily arranged to where you can find it. Prices seem on par with other stores, though I think you can find a better deal on liquor at a larger store.
