History

Established in 1993.

Kaja Gam Design offer interior design consulting, space planning, and full-​service interior architectural remodeling and project management services. A classically-​trained artist with expertise in faux finishes and restoration techniques, Kaja often designs custom furniture and cabinetry for her clients. She takes a holistic approach to the design process, recognizing that how we live should define the spaces we live in. The end result are designs that reflect her clients’ personalities and not her own.

As an ardent environmentalist and historic preservationist, Kaja is committed to design ideas and products that will support and sustain our planet and preserve our historic heritage. She views smart space planning and universal design principles as the foundation of green design and encourages her clients to select recycled, sustainable and renewable materials for their homes. She has been a member of the US Green Building Council since 2007.

Business Owner

Kaja Gam has over 20 years experience in the development, design, contracting and management with a focus on sustainable interior design.

As principal of Kaja Gam Design, Inc. she combines her talent as a color conceptualist, muralist and interior designer with the hands-​on ability to lead design projects from idea to completion. She has successfully completed major residential renovations involving furniture and case goods design and over a dozen large-​scale dramatic murals for both the residential and commercial sector. Her innovative and unusual solutions to complex design challenges have won her accolades from peers in the industry.
