Ick. Icy flavored ice cream. Not good at all. We didn’t try any burgers just cones and they were awful.

The food was edible so i gave it 2 stars… Thank goodness for ketchup and salt or they would have been no flavor. I ordered the Ron burger, which was cold and no flavor. My mother ordered the grilled cheese and added onions. I had to ask them to put the sandwhich back on the grill because the cheese wasn’t even melted. The customer service was lacking as well… the best part was the frozen already cooked food that they just had to fry… and it did taste a little of old grease. I will absolutely never waste my money here again… Wait time was also extremely slow, there were only 2 orders in front of me and 4 people behind the window… next time I will definitely chose Mikes burger which is right net door… The price was decent, and that’s only because they are either lacking ingredients, or they are out, as well as the food isn’t worth what you pay

The food was under cooked… the kids are to young that work there to know what a fully cooked hamburger is!!! not there fault where is management? The ranch that was once homemade is now store bought with no real flavor. The only thing they still have is good fries

We stopped in here because all of the other nearby burger places were packed(on a Sunday at lunch time). There were only 1 – 2 cars in Ron’s; this should have been a warning to us. We had a few questions – what’s in the«sauce», for instance – and the girl acted like it was a big inconvenience for her to answer us. We asked about the location of the restroom, and she gave us a «just a minute!» response. Really not friendly at all. Funny thing is that the kitchen area looked sort of empty – just a few items stacked here and there. Also, everyone working there appeared to be teenagers. There was no sense than an owner, perhaps a grownup, had anything to do with this place any longer.(Has Ron’s been recently sold?) There seemed to be lots of giggling and screwing around without much consideration that they were operating a business. I get the sense that this was once a great burger stand, probably run by the owner and family, but whoever owns it now just doesn’t care. Anyway, we ordered burgers, fries, etc, and paid about $ 14 cash. THEN we went into the bathroom. It was DISGUSTINGLYDIRTY, and there was NOSOAP – not an empty dispenser, but NO soap whatsoever. How do the employees wash their hands? So, we literally drove off – walked away from our $ 14 payment and whatever food was prepared. We just didn’t want to take a chance.(We drove up the road to Righteous Burger, by the way, and it was absolutely worth the wait!) Funny thing is that while we were driving away, we could see the original surly-order-taking-girl standing just outside the building smoking and staring at us.

Ron’s is OK, I am not a big fan of the food. The place is old fashioned style, a little run down, but it has cool license plates décor. There is both indoor and outdoor seating. Customer service is OK, mostly young high school kids working! I recommend paying cash because they charge for a credit fee. It seems like the place closes very early, maybe 8pm? I really like the Root beer floats!!! They are very good flavor. It is located on a corner right across the street from Tower Mart gas station, Olive Hwy and Lower Wyandotte. It’s very easy to get in and out of there, never had any problems parking, but what I don’t like is there are a bunch of gravel rocks all over the parking lot! We ordered two cheeseburgers, fries, and onion rings. Food was OK, but I know I won’t be eating here too often. On the other hand, I do like their Rootbeer floats!!! They taste great and the Vanilla cone is pretty good. Last time I stopped by, I wanted to order a Chocolate cone and they were out. So hopefully next time I can get it…

My kids and I only get to go here once a year, twice if we are lucky! Ron’s is on the way to my brother’s cabin in the mountains and we NEVERRRRRR miss a chance to eat there! My daughter is a vegetarian, and we were astonished to discover that not only did they offer a veggie burger, but it is a REALVEGGIEBURGER, unlike In & Out’s where they just take away the meat and charge you the same price for a bun with lettuce and tomatoes! In addition, they are the BEST veggie burgers ANYWHERE! Secondly, the traditional meaty hamburgers are by far the best burgers I have ever had(and I am a big burger lover)! Thirdly, the only thing that disappointed me was that I did not get the largest sized milkshake last time. I got a small. big mistake because these are the rockinest shakes ever! Real ice cream and SO many flavors to choose from it was like being at Baskin Robbins(only better)!! I will be ordering the largest size next time. Last but not least, the prices are affordable which is great for me as a single Mom. By the time I pay for all our supplies and gas for this trip I am pretty tapped out. Thanks for offering amazing and satisfying food at affordable prices and giving us one final YAHOO on our way home from a relaxing time in the woods. See you next Monday!

This place makes the best burger in town. A bold statement considering Oroville is the fast food capital of Butte County. You can get the typical bacon cheeseburger, or go all crazy and get a King Olive. The prices are reasonable, and on Wednesday’s you can get the managers special. A giant burger, fries, and soft drink for around 7 bucks. The fries are thick and crispy, and a medium order is a meal in itself. Its more than enough food to feed two normal sized adults.(By normal, I mean not obese). They also have a wide assortment of milkshake flavors. These shakes are very thick, and require a spoon. One star must be subtracted for the grumpy employees and crappy dining area. I don’t expect enthusiasm from a fry cook, but at least a welcome and«what can I get you». Moving on, the dining area hasn’t been updated in years. There is a broken pinball machine, and some other relics from 1997 that could use a good dusting. Like most things in this town, pride in ownership of a food establishment doesn’t go past the food. Putting minimal effort into the exterior of your business and hiring people with personalities would be helpful in bringing in new customers. Ultimately its the food that counts, and they do very well. Well worth many return visits.

Had the Wednesday special today and it was really good. ¼ Patty had a great charcoal grill flavor. My only regret was not getting two patties. Fries were cooked just right. I’ll be coming back
