Located on the University of Maine campus, the Richard R. and Anne A. Collins Center for the Arts is the cultural centerpiece of eastern and northern Maine, providing a flagship venue for performing arts.
History
Established in 1986.
The theater opened with an orchestral performance by Yo-Yo Ma as the Maine Center for the Arts in 1986. The theater became the Richard R. and Anne A. Collins Center in 2009 after an 18 month renovation.
