The High in the Sky Seuss Trolley Train Ride

I had literally no expectations for this ride, and so it didn’t disappoint me. It’s definitely geared more towards children, so the experience was very leisurely. There are two different tracks, so I believe you can actually see two different sides of the park that way. The line to get in was pretty minimal, and the queue is, naturally, Dr. Seuss themed. It was about Sneetches, complete with the Seuss-​style poems decorating the walls. The one we rode circled above some type of restaurant, circling around on a little track. The track is laid both within interior buildings, and also circles around Seuss Landing outside.
On your little trolley ride, you’re greeted by tons of colorful, sometimes wacky, dimensional figurines and characters on either side. You get some really nice views of Seuss Landing itself, so it almost feels like you’re on some kind of acid trip with ballooning, disproportionate figures and buildings decorating the landscape around you.
It’s just a really calm, easy way to experience a part of that part from above the crowds. I imagine children would like it, since it’s colorful and bright, and adults with children would probably enjoy it because their children are too busy gawking to be squawking.

My brother in law and I decided to get on this train ride since we are not fans of fast roller coasters. The wait time said 10 minutes on the sign but we wound up waiting in line for 40 minutes. We wanted to leave the line but it was packed and there was no alternate route to leave. The ride felt like it lasted 45 seconds. So unless you have kids who want to ride this, don’t bother.

Ok ride nothing special about it except you can see the whole theme park.

An easy, not scary ride with virtually no wait time.
This is another cute nostalgic attraction that’s mostly for the kiddos but fine for adults too. We got a nice view of all of the Dr. Seuss area and got to sit down and relax for a bit. It even cuts through some of the buildings in the area so you can see what’s inside.
I would probably not ride this again, but it’s something to see once just for the nostalgia and view of the park. It’s definitely something great for kids to do though.

We had quite a good time on this ride. None in our group were children but we still all enjoyed ourselves while riding the High in the Sky Trolley.
When Islands of Adventure was first opening this ride was intended to be something else, blah blah blah, contracts, drama, etc. Viola! Here is what it is: this ride consist of two different tracks/​ride experiences that take you all around (above) the Seuss Landing island of the park. It provides some great views you can’t get anywhere else as well as taking you in the Circus Mcgurkus Café, high above the diners. The ride operators were friendly and they loaded the ride relatively quickly.
I wouldn’t wait a long time for this ride, but if you’re looking for something different and low impact, I would give it a ride. It’s neat some of the photo-​ops you can score of the other various parts of the park from being so High in the Sky.

Our favorite ride in Seuss land. Nice train ride above the park that gives you a very good view of everything. Not at all scary and the ride attendants are a lot of fun (I’m talking about you Austin) — they’ll even hop on the train with you if there’s an empty seat. Never had to wait very long on this ride, lots of fun.

Truly a miss.
Fortunately, your child will not see this ride the same way you do, and a very young child will enjoy this looping adventure featuring the stars of the Cat in the Hat book. No lines and an easy ride for the very, very young.
However, seen though the eyes of a parent who is a major Seuss fan, this is one abysmal ride.
Why would you take your guests on a ride through the food court to enjoy the stench of french fries? When you take your ride through a fast-​food area, you are treading on mall territory, and admitting to the world that you have either completely run out of ideas or at the least, should not be entrusted with the fabulous Dr. Seuss brand. Pretty sure this in not what Seuss meant by, «Oh, the Places You Will Go!»
This ride is a far, far cry from the magic of Seuss or the layered storytelling of Disney (Let’s face it, Disney is a direct competitor and nearby.) This ride is a time waster and is more a lesson in a missed opportunity to leverage a fun children’s classic through sheer laziness, than it is anything else.

It was cute, but I thought it could be much cuter. It’s DR SEUSS after all! One weird part was at the beginning, the ride went above a food court. The people waved to us, but I thought. Hmm is this sanitary for the people eating down there?
Other than that, you can get a good view of Seuss landing and anyone can handle this ride. They really mean it when they say. ‘All aboard!’ har har!

Cute ride at U/​O that almost anyone can handle.

Goes faster than the Casey Junior Circus Train and higher. As an adult, I didn’t enjoy the forced alphabetizing iambic pentameter or whatever that was — ABAB rhyming scheme. They also mentioned U for Underwear. It caught my ear, and I thought wha?

Dr. Seussland is a land of quirky and play.
Nevertheless it makes every one gay.
Crazy twirls and fuzzy things that make no sense to me
But my oh my, what can it be?
I turn and swerve this way and that
And oh yes, it’s Cat in the Hat!
No green eggs and ham for me please
Because this ride is such a tease.
