Monkey Joe’s

SO HAPPY I FOUND THIS PLACE! I usually take my son to chuckee cheese and this place puts them to shame… They’re are about 5 to 6 inflatables to choose from for the kids and they’re huge! Also when I went they just blew up 2 brand new inflatables! They have a cute little arcade area where the kids can play but nothing too great selection wise. Overall it’s a great affordable place to go for kids to get some energy out I love it!

I went to Monkey Joe’s about 5 years ago and it was located in a closed down outlet mall. My son (then 1) had a great time. I decided to give Monkey Joe’s another try. I joined their e-​mail club and got a buy one get one welcome coupon.
This place is located in Pointe Orlando. It is hidden in the corner on the left side of Hollister.
When I walked in I was surrounded by screaming, happy children. The check-​in line was pretty long. When it was my turn to check-​in I presented my coupon and easy peasy $ 14 later we were off to the chaos.
There are plenty of bounce houses around for the children to jump until they are about to pass out. There are several video arcades and games around for the game heads! The kiosk to obtain a game card was inoperable so I had to go to the front desk where there were impatient children waiting to get prizes. There was only one associate working this area. Poor lady, however, she handled it like a boss!
I would recommend this place moving into a bigger area therefore you won’t feel smothered by the children running you over trying to get to the next bounce house or other entertainment that awaits.
They also offer birthday parties, which a few of them were going on… nice…BUT step it up a little MJ!

I thought my toddler would enjoy this place, but she was actually a bit scared. We ended up leaving after 20 minutes, but I still give this place a good review because the customer service was fantastic. Seeing my daughter was nervous, the employees did several things to try to help coax her into the bounce areas. They also offered several suggestions that my wife and I could do as well. Ultimately, when it was obvious she was not going to enjoy herself, they then issued a full refund without even batting an eye. I definitely will come back here when she’s a bit older, as the place itself was clean and full of things to do.

My son loves this place. Last time we went, he played on the bounce houses for like two hours, so I like that it’s something that really keeps him running around & active. On the downside, it can be a little pricey considering prices vary by age & day of the week (I believe weekends are more expensive) and for families with more than one child, unlike my own. The actual bounce houses at this location seem to be pretty worn and dirty. With so many kids, I’m sure there are germs everywhere, so hand sanitizer is always a good idea! They do also have food available for purchase and an arcade, but I never even bother with that stuff because it all just seems very overpriced. For that, I’d rather just take my son to D&B’s down the street. Oh & just like most other places for children, Saturdays are PACKED with children running around EVERYWHERE, so you really have to be careful & keep a close watch on your child because some kids are pretty rough. Thankfully, from what I have seen many times, they have always been pretty good at checking everyone’s wrist bands to make sure the right child is always leaving with the right family. Kids are supposed to always have socks when playing on the bounces houses, too, but I have noticed on busy Saturday’s that they don’t really enforce this, but usually, if you don’t have socks, they will make you buy a pair there. I don’t remember the price. All in all, like I said, my son loves this place, so I feel it’s worth the minor negatives to see him get to enjoy himself and just be a kid.

Not for under 3 in my opinion! Lots of safety hazards, and exposed electrical cords. Perfect things for toddlers to get into. Also the bounce houses are very worn! And there isn’t any attendants regulating the bounce house for the toddlers, so they had big kids bouncing in them. Just spent 20 mins there and left. Wouldn’t bring them back for a while, if ever.

Went with my 3-​yo son to take a break from the theme parks in an A/​C place. This was the place he talked about to his friends after he returned. Not the $ 100+/day parks. LOL.
We went on a weekday during the day, there were no lines, it was awesome.

This is a good spot to let the kids blow off some steam. The location is great with so many food spots around it. We go first thing when they open since it does get crazy towards the afternoon and things are still wiped down and clean at this time. A couple of hours of bouncing and games then we are off to The Pub or Marlow’s Tavern for mommy daddy time :) Everyone wins!

Upon arriving you pay an entrance fee per child, fill out a waiver, and receive wristbands for all in your party. Then, you’re free to roam the play area filled with bounce houses and arcade games. There are employees on hand to supervise children, but they don’t do a good job as their teens themselves; supervise your own children. There are a few separate bounce houses for children under three, but the occasional older child does tend to run in. Parents are allowed to accompany children under three into these designated bounce houses.
Kiosks are available to purchase, and reload, Monkey Joe’s Play Cards; the kiosks accept cash and credit cards. You’ll need a Play Card for the arcade games. At the end of each game you’re awarded virtual tickets, to redeem for prizes. Their prize selection is pretty varied and decent.
There are party rooms located around the play area and can be reserved for birthday parties.
There is a dining area where you can buy food, drinks, and ice cream treats. On my last visit I finally ate there and I was not at all impressed. I received my order of cheese sticks and thought, «no marinara, no dipping sauce at all?» Maybe they just forgot to give it to me? I figured, «what the heck» and ate them plain. Next came the practically burnt slice of pizza. I didn’t bother to complain as I didn’t expect much anyway. From now on I’ll just eat elsewhere.

Monkey Joes is a great place to take kids for some indoor fun. Kids pay an admission fee an parents are free. The admission fee covers a variety of bounce house type activities but you will have to purchase a card to play games. The place is clean and they have staff present to supervise. I love that the games are size friendly to accommodate 2 – 4 year olds. Great place for tourist to take younger kids.

This place is dirty and smells bad. Kids seem to love it though. The pirate ship was down when we visited as well.
Be careful because when the kids get tired of bouncing they will want to play the video games in the front of the establishment.
I was totally ripped off on the game card machine. I placed $ 20 cash into machine. There was an option to purchase $ 10 worth of «bananas» (game currency) but it took my whole $ 20 and would not refund me. There is fine print on the machine that says no change is given for cash. After speaking with the manager (some young kid) he could not refund my $ 10 or give me credit of any sort.
Will never visit Monkey Joes again!

Good value for an indoor play area. Kids who like bounce houses will really like this place. The game arcade is mostly slot machine type games to win tickets, but they do have skee ball, air hockey and a couple regular video games.

Dr. Fravel’s office and staff love Monkey Joe’s! We have had our patients appreciation parties there for the past 2 years and it’s always been an enjoyable experience. Our patients have a blast from the moment they walk in. It’s a great place to hold kid friendly events!

WE live n the west side of town so this location is convenient for us. Clean, and great staff… your kids will definitley LOVE it here!!!

Our family absolutely loves Monkey Joe’s. This location is not crowded, the pizza is great. And with 4 kids, we can keep our eyes on all the kids and not worry about losing them. Best place to bring the kids for fun!

We love Monkey Joe’s !! My kids have a blast everytime they visit this location. Jumps are amazing, the videogames are fun and I have some time to relax and enjoy myself. Staff is very friendly and efficient. I visited there mostly on weekdays when the kids were off school.

We (me+11yo and 9mo) are in town while my husband is here for work. Monkey joe’s was a great daytime activity for me and the kids. They had a great time playing. Staff was very friendly and they even validated my parking! Having a play space with air conditioning was fantastic break from all of our outdoor activities on such a hot July day!

We were visitors from California and needed to kill some time. We came here the last hour of the day, and the most definitely unenthused staff didn’t tell us that they were closing, but gave us a card for a visit another day. Which… well, how are we going to use that?
My son had fun jumping in the eight bounce houses which were nearly empty at that point, so that’s a plus.
Someone mentioned the parking validation, and yes, that is definitely a great deal. This place is also easy to find.

Bring socks! They will not let your kids play without socks for sanitary reasons. If you forget, the socks cost $ 3/​pair. Bring parking ticket if you park in the garage because they have to validate it (good for 3 hours). I took my niece there and she had a blast! I would definitely go back :))

Took my 4 year old nephew here to pass a rainy day he loved it. I spent $ 18 for 5 hours of play time, he was active and social. There are referees that are there, theyll tell the kids not to run etc. I sat near my nephew and watched him play comfortably.
Pros
It was bigger than I expected there’s 8 bounce play grounds including 3 for kids 3 and younger.
It’s close to the parking lot
They validate parking 3 hours for 99cents, way cheaper than paying for Pointe Orlando’s fees.

Small Fry was able to attend an appreciation event, where the entire facility was bought out by her orthodontists office. So, it wasn’t very crowded and the few staff that were there were very attentive. She enjoyed her time there immensely and was a giant sweaty & tired mess by the time we left the facility
This Monkey Joe’s doesn’t seem as large as the ones in other parts of town, but had enough variety to keep her entertained. There is also a separate section for little ones under 4. Although there are chairs set up everywhere for parents to sit, it is nearly impossible to keep track of your child as they bounce from area to area like a pin ball! Anyone over the age of 12 are not allowed on any of the bouncy areas. That’s good and bad… Good so your child doesn’t get bounced over by bigger people, but bad if your child is stuck, or is freaking out, and needs help!
The only drawback was that there were no security precautions in place. It seemed that your child could walk out the front door, alone or with a stranger, with relative ease. I would feel more comfortable if they had a hand stamp system/​security check like another very popular child venue. NOW, with that said, perhaps because it was a special event they didn’t have security precautions up and running…
