History
Established in 2007.
Pulse Performance was established in 2007 in Oviedo, with only thirteen students. Since then we have moved in to our permanent home in Waterford Lakes, a 3,000 sq. ft. condo which was purchased and completely built out especially for our needs. With three studio spaces, this facility is marked by distinctive Harlequin Cascade tm floors, double adjustable ballet barres, floor to ceiling mirrors, and beautiful 14 ft. ceilings.
Our dance rooms are equipped with state-of-the-art sound systems that accommodate CDs, and digital devices such as iPods. Our series of overhead speakers completely engulf each room in sound and enable all students to better hear and «feel» the music.
We believe that what makes Pulse Performance Studio special is our faculty, office staff, and of course our outstanding students of all ages and abilities. Since our establishment, we have had the privilege of providing quality performing arts instruction to over 1,000 young performers.
Meet the Business Owner
Sacha C.
Business Owner
Sacha, a Florida native has always been involved in the arts. From a very young age she has been drawn to both the visual and performing arts. As a child, Ms. Comrie studied dance forms such as ballet, tap, and jazz, and throughout her elementary and highschool years, participated in many local, national, and international dance competitions and conventions. Studying with greats such as Katherine Dunham, Savion Glover, and Frank Hatchet, Sacha, set her sights on a career in dance. Ms. Comrie then began her collegiate career at Spelman College in Atlanta, GA. She soon branched out of the gates of Spelman, and began working as a dance educator and choreographer both locally and nationally. Moving north to the big apple, New York City, she continued to utilize her skills as a dancer and educator, demonstrating for people such as Frank Hatchet. Sacha has made it her life’s mission to share her love of all performing arts with as many young people as possible.
