Business Owner

O’ Shucks first opened their gdoors on October 1st, 2003.

The owner Bob is an entrepreneur at heat and always wanted his own bar.

Coming from extensive background in customer service, Bob felt he knew enough people to come out and support his new venture.

He wanted a fun, casual place where people could come out, listen to music, eat food and have some good drinks.

Today, Bob hopes that you have a positive experience at O’Shucks Pub and Billiards.

We came for a conference and we love Karaōke. We came in on a Sunday night for our friend’s bday while visiting at said conference and we found ourselves there every night for the rest of the conference week. Just a fun night out! We made friends with everyone and the vibe of the bar was contagiously joyful and silly and fully committed to good karaōke. Highly recommend!

Not just beer and wine, but a full liquor bar! Friendly bartenders and daily drink specials during happy hour! Very close to the hotel and all the excitement! A must stop when ever we come to Orlando!

Great service and friendly staff. Amy runs the karaōke and she does a fantastic job. You can tell she really enjoys what she does. She will often sing along with the locals and get involved in the fun. The drinks are very good too. Highly recommend a Bob’s Margarita!

Great little place. My girlfriends and I were in town a found it online and decided to go. First night we had a bawl and was singing all night because they have karaōke (every night!). We loved it so much we also went our last night. The owner and employees were all sweet hearts and were very kind. Must go if you are looking for a good time!

I loved that this place was close to our hotel on our visit to Orlando. We definitely made this our go to bar while here for 4 days. Jay was top notch and very friendly. Drink prices were great and the people we met were awesome too. Karaōke every night so if you are looking for that, this will be the place for you. The food items were simple bar food but tasted great. I can’t wait for our next trip down to make another stop at this place.

I recently vacationed in Orlando (from Utah) and this place was by far the highlight of my trip. It’s a little divey in all the right ways, the atmosphere is fun, but chill, and we met one of the coolest bartenders ever (Hi Jay!) If you get a chance to visit this place i’d highly recommend it. Drinks weren’t too expensive, which was a nice plus. They do karaōke every night, which usually I’m annoyed with, but I loved the bar and the people so much that it didn’t bother me. Next time I’m in Orlando I’m definitely going back!

Are you looking for a hole in the wall bar? This is IT! If smoking bothers you you shouldn’t go however since I think everyone that goes smokes. The drinks are cheap and the bartenders are friendly. Karaōke is happening like every night!

Seriously love this place. Slightly divey, but that’s the way I like it. The drinks are cheap compared to most of the neighboring bars, and the staff is attentive and friendly. We’ve only been a few times but they recognized us by name and order right away. They’ve got karaōke every night and have a fairly good system set up so that everyone who wants to gets a chance to sing. This place has become a fast favorite of mine, and I love recommending it to my friends because they always have a blast.

DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE’
This place discriminates ! We are here for a conference from out of town. We walked in. With a group of 12. They let the three kids sing but they wouldn’t let one of our group members saying because he wasn’t 21. Something about their policy that if the bar is empty they let kids sing
Really? because our group made the bar «busy» their policy changes and our person couldn’t sing. Also Our state issues temporary paper license until you receive a hard copy. They would not serve a 31 year old mom in our group, and the manager was not very kind to her at all.
When I asked to speak to the manager he said he was the manager and that was the policy. Sounds pretty selective who they choose to allow to sing. I tried to explain to them our group would drop a good amount of money on drinks tonight and he would not budge. The bar is empty who’s going to know I asked I asked him? I would he said. Where is this policy written? I don’t see it posted?
This place needs to look up the definition for hospitality

Kind of dingy and there is construction going on right now, so looks a bit sketchy… but… good food and nice staff… enjoyed playing pool and the true bar atmosphere.

I had an amazing time in this bar! It’s definitely a dive/​hole in the wall bar but they do karaōke all the time and they have a few arcade games with pool tables. Everyone in the bar acted as if they were all a big family and I mean customers acted this way! Maybe they were regulars or the staff is just that awesome! The bartenders there were super friendly! Their names were Jay and Ben. The woman that was announcing karaōke was hilarious! This place is so awesome for being such a big tourist area didn’t even know this existed for the longest time I’ll definitely be going back there! Had a blast

My husband and I stayed in Orlando for my birthday weekend. Our hotel was across the street and we had asked our server at Bonefish Grill for a «trashy dive bar». She suggested O’Shucks and the reviews hinted it would be what we were searching for. It was karaōke night which was pretty entertaining but this isn’t exactly dive bar material. And no, I’m not lowering their rating for not being one! I come from Polk county and this place does not qualify.
Anyway, the place was not busy yet seemed to be packed at the front. I had to shove my way through the crowd to get to available seating and the pool area. Our server was a nice guy and the patrons seemed alright, though not our usual crowd. We had a good time until the bar tab came to a close.

This is a bill I’d expect sitting at a low-​end restuarant like Ruby Tuesday. $ 10/​shot of a Patron? Did I step into some shit-​hole club? This looked like my bill at Dave & Buster’s a while back. Definitely not what I would expect for a place like this. To make matters worse, my husband came back to our table to grab his credit card and pay. The bartender had already swiped his debit card to pay but told him it never was processed (it did). So the credit card was swiped as well. And now he gets to sort all that out at the bank and we’re being double charged for these over-​priced drinks.

Not that great. It’s a dive bar. Sound system is not tuned properly. Drove all the way from deltona because the reviews said it was good. Any other bar no matter how horrible is competition for this place. Unilocal has let me down. Small place and very smokey. They have cheezy beer banners and dollar bills on the walls. not often does Unilocal let me down. But this is one of those times.

So I was staying at Coco Key Resort and I ask the front desk, «Got any good bars around here?» to which she responded, «There’s a Buffalo Wild Wings around here.» No thanks. So I take to streets and what do I find within my first twenty steps? A diamond in the rough. Smoky, a little noisy, and some dude just failing at a Creed song on Kareoke. I was greeted as if I had been there the night before, treated to a couple specials, and was taken care of like a regular. Good folks working here, introduced themselves and all that good sh*t. Come here. Drink here. And tip well. These good people deserve it.
