Edys Ice Cream

I have nothing nothing against Edy’s ice cream it is delicious but the location couldn’t be worse! There is a lingerie/​just not for kids eyes/​not even blacked out windows sex store right next to it. So if you are looking for ice cream with your kids be aware!

Edy’s Ice Cream shop? Does such a thing exist? on International Drive, in Orlando, it sure does. We drove past a couple times just to make sure, and finally pulled into the parking lot of the small shopping complex that Edy’s was located in. Indeed it was like any other ice cream parlor. Walking in, there are 5 – 7 tables on your left hand-​side to sit at. On the right, are 3 – 4 glass counters of ice cream jugs, with about 30 flavors to select from. I ordered a two scoop (about $ 3-​$ 4) in a cup of Peanut Butter Cup (vanilla ice cream with swirls of peanut butter and chunks of peanut butter cups) and Double Fudge Brownie (chocolate ice cream with swirls of fudge and chunks of brownie). The chocolate and peanut butter ice cream was a perfect mix, just like a peanut butter cup. There are also some odd flavors I have never seen sold in stores nor heard of like Kona Coffee. If you are interested in any of flavors but don’t want to buy a scoop, ask for a sample (similar to the tiny spoons used at Baskin Robbins).
