We are a «dirt and debt» law firm focusing on real estate and bankruptcy for real estate investors, their private lenders, and foreign buyers and sellers of Florida real estate.

The firm was founded in 2004 by attorney Joseph E. Seagle when he opened his own firm. Prior to that, Mr. Seagle had been practicing law since 1996 with other small real estate and title closing law firms in North Carolina and Florida.

In 2008, the firm added additional attorneys who focus on real estate litigation and bankruptcy, while Mr. Seagle continues to focus his practice on real estate and corporate transactions.

Business Owner

Born and raised in the foothills of Western North Carolina, Joe graduated from the University of North Carolina — Chapel Hill (UNC) in 1993, and North Carolina Central University School of Law in 1996.

He practiced with a small general practice firm in Hickory, NC, before moving to a real estate firm in Asheville where he practiced until moving to Orlando in 2001. In Orlando, he practiced with another real estate and corporate law firm and acted as in-​house underwriting and closing counsel to the firm’s affiliated title insurance agency until 2004 when he opened his own firm.
