Happy Paws Pet Resort is a 5,000 square foot state of the art facility built from the ground up, not an existing warehouse or such, converted to be a boarding facility. Every detail was made to cater to a stress free, fun stay at our resort. Our facility boasts hospital grade air conditioning units which filtrate and purifies the air and make it virtually viral free, it has double insulation to reduce noises such as thunder and lightning from being heard by our guests, a «bone shaped» salt water based pool (the only one in the Orlando area) for relaxation and fun, and lastly our facility is hurricane proof.

We are not a traditional boarding facility. We bring to Orlando’s four legged furry residents a vacation destination. Happy Paws Pet Resort believes that through structured activity, loving human contact, exercise, and positive reinforcement our four legged guests can enjoy what two legged Orlando residents enjoy while on vacation; relaxation, entertainment, and fun.

Happy Paws Pet Resort was created to be part of your extended family. We welcome tours at any time and we love questions. Our goal is to provide pet parents with a peace of mind, when they are away from their four legged family member due to work, vacations, and other life responsibilities. We have created an environment of mental and physical stimulation, along with affection to ensure that not only are we your favorite pet option but your four legged ones as well.

As a business we are involved with not only our pet parents and their four legged family members but the communities as well. Happy Paws Pet Resort actively participates in supporting both our local shelters with volunteer time, and fund raising efforts. We also work with local rescues to help them prepare homeless pets for their potential second home, and we are guest speakers at schools and camps promoting pet responsibility and animal welfare.

We stay committed to providing an establishment which is clean and places the welfare of your pet above anything else.

We hope to further the relationship pets have with their owners by providing an environment of trust, love, affection, and education. Our pet resort will be one in which both staff and guests will engage together is a fun, clean, safe, and loving environment.

Among all my hats, I am also the senior groomer, so please come visit our pet spa.

I am so Thankful for Happy Paws. I was somewhat apprehensive in leaving my dog anywhere. We have only owned our dog for 9 months. But we were going away for spring break and couldn’t bring him along. I reserved a medium suite for him. They insured me, that would be more than enough. I brought him his food and off we went. Upon returning, he was fine. A little hung over from all the fun he had. But that’s all. We received a photo of him and a little report card. He was great. Played with all his new friends. I also used there grooming service. So he looked and smelled great too. Thank you Happy Paws for making Cacique’s stay so pleasant! Would ABSOLUTELY recommend them.

Oh, Happy Paws. How I love thee.
Seriously — this place is absolutely wonderful. We have two dogs — a border collie mix and a lab/​pit mix — both whom are complete opposites personality wise. My concern was with our lab/​pit mix, who is friendly, but can be really high energy. Happy Paws was great with her, and we recently left her for a two-​night stay while we went away. Being the overly-​paranoid «dog mom» that I am, I checked in on her frequently, and was so happy to see her running around and having fun each time. The «pack leaders» keep the dogs in check, and I know that she’s safe there and I don’t have to worry.
I can’t thank them enough for their kindness, but also for not discriminating against certain breeds. We will forever be clients of Happy Paws, and can’t wait to bring our dogs back!

I can not recommend Happy Paws at all. I have two beautiful quiet and outgoing West Highland terriers, male and female. They want not to day care my male dog because he is Zeutered and not neutered. Means, I did a more healthy way to get rid of his testosterone and not a full surgery. His testicles shrink to almost not visible and he was a quiet dog and is still a quiet dog. He love to play with the dogs in the neighborhood and I get all the time compliments when I go to a dog park how trained and lovely he is. But that Happy Paws want not make my dog happy they didn’t give my dog a change at all to bring him in for the free 4 hours to see how he will act. It’s so sad!

My dog loves to visit Happy Paws. He gets excited as soon as he can see the building. He gets to play outside and go swimming with the other dogs. The staff are all very friendly.

They were horrible! They damaged my dog then try to blame it on me and then they didnt want to give me my money back. i had to fight them for it worst cuatomer service!

My family and I highly recommend Happy Paws! Our Australian Shepherd puppy, Mia, stayed at the resort in January while we were away on vacation and again for doggie daycare this past Saturday.
We were very apprehensive about leaving her at any sort of facility but your
staff was wonderful and really made us feel comfortable that she was well
cared for through daily status updates and the ability to watch her play on the webcams. We also were very surprised and impressed by all the little extra touches like the status reports with hand written notes, the photo summary of her stay and the little Valentines treat bag this past Saturday!
We have been telling everyone we know with dogs about your place! Thanks for taking such good care of our furry family member.

I have been taking my puppy here for daycare for about 2 months and recently boarded her for a few days. She absolutely loves it and I feel very comfortable leaving her with them. Almost all of the staff are wonderful (one staff member is not very friendly or helpful consistently which is why I only gave them 4 stars). My puppy adores the pool and ALWAYS comes home with the «happy paws hangover» effect which is exactly what I was looking for. She is a 9 month old ridgeback mix and has more energy than 98% of dogs (ie: 2.5 hrs of non stop swimming & playing at Fleet Peeples and she isn’t even tired). I am so thankful I found Happy Paws for my baby girl and for my peace of mind!

I adopted a black lab from the SPCA and she is extremely scared of many things including people. She does great around my family but anybody new it takes her a while to warm up to. I have been bringing her to daycare at happy paws every week for at least a year now and she absolutely loves it. When we walk in the door in the morning she goes right up to the staff (which is fantastic since she would normally not go up to anyone other than my family). She has fun playing all day then comes home exhausted. You can buy daycare passes in bulk and they are cheaper when you purchase more. The staff is always helpful and friendly. They make sure all dogs have their shots up to date. The really cool part is that they have video cameras around the facility so you can log on to their website and watch your dog play all day for free. I would recommend giving your dog a really bright or recognizable color as the video is not high definition. I would absolutely recommend Happy Paws!

I have a crazy Vizsla who is beyond energetic. I like to drop her off here while I’m out on vacation because they bring her back to me tired. Ive left her here for 7 days while I was out on a cruise, and she did come back thinner, which is find because I knew she was playing all day. She did have an incident where she was scraped on her belly and on her side. I was told she tried to jump over a «time out crate» and scraped herself. I couldnt blame anyone but my dog only because it sounded like something she would have done. They took care of the scrape for me and she played on. In communication with the owner, she let me know the time out crates are off to the side and they are looking into ways to prevent future incidents.
Just a few notes for you newbies out there if you decide to take your pet here.
* You’ll need to be up on shots including bordetella and fecal.
* Your dog has to pass a behavior test.
* You must bring your own food portioned out if you plan to stay overnight.
* You can bring beds and toys, but no rawhides.
* You can tour the back area upon request. Just dont go wandering back there on your own.
* Make sure your dog has a quick release collar (non buckle type) or else they will charge you to «rent» a quick release collar.
* They charge for everything. If they ask to give your dog something, you will see it on your bill.

My dog and I both love Happy Paws! I must admit, I am one of those crazy dog moms who will do whatever it takes to make my dog happy. I take him to daycare just about once a week so he can burn some energy while I’m at work, instead of just laying around the house all day. When I ask if he wants to go to «daycare» (in my overly excited voice, of course) he races to the door and knows exactly what I’m talking about. Upon our arrival it’s almost as though the staff are his other moms and he’s just as thrilled to see them as he is to see me. This is so comforting! I love knowing that my dog is in good hands and with people that love him as much as I do.
When I pick Boone up after his day of play the staff is more than happy to answer my silly, overbearing mom questions like «Did he behave?», «Did he make any new friends?», «Did he give anyone a hard time?», which I know are very annoying but they smile and answer politely every time! Besides answering my questions I also get an adorable daycare card about the highlights of Boone’s day and occasionally a picture of him :). This is my favorite. Not only can I log on to the internet and watch him during the day, but I get a fun picture to take home with me as well (and hang on the fridge like any other proud mom would do)!
If you haven’t given Happy Paws a try yet I highly recommend it. I know people who have older dogs and less than friendly dogs and the staff is happy to make the accommodations necessary for each pet’s specific needs. I don’t think I can say enough good things about my experiences with this facility.

This place is sooo overrated! They chopped my border collie to the skin when they were instructed only to clean her. They are rude and unprofessional. I will never bring my dog there again!

Those who have dogs understand they are a part of your family and not just a pet. I don’t prefer to board my dog, but if none of my typical dog sitters can watch my dog, my first choice would definitely be Happy Paws.
Price wise, it is more expensive, but worth it knowing how much attention and care the employees give all the dogs.
Before I decided to board my dog here, they openly gave us a tour of the facility.
My little yorkie has been here 3 times. The first time he got kennel cough, but I don’t blame that on Happy Paws. It was his first time being boarded, just like sending your kid to day care, and getting sick, which can happen. The next time he was fine. I love how Happy Paws keeps your dog playing the entire day versus other boarding places who keep them in a kennel except to let them out to use the bathroom (and usually only 2 – 3 times). Other boarding places require you to pay extra for more time to go out (and usually only an extra 20 minutes), which is ridiculous.
I love that they have the cameras in all the play areas so you can check on your dog during business hours. You can also call to check on your dog and they give you a thorough, honest update. I was told how well my dog ate and if he had made a friend or was being shy.
Before I pick my dog up, I pay the extra $ 20.00 to get him bathed and they also do a great job with this.
Only thing I would recommend is if you are planning to board your dog and you know the dates, you can book as early as 60 days. Definitely do this because during holidays they book up quickly and the only rooms you may be left with are the suites, which are a lot more expensive than the standard kennels.

I have been here several times over the past couple years for numerous doggie pool «pawtys» ! :). All were through through local dog meetup groups and were also held as fundraisers for animal rescue.
Even though my pups don’t like to swim, it’s still an enjoyable outing for them and for their owners !! There is a large bone shaped pool surrounded by fake green flooring. The pool area is kept clean and there is always accessibility to dog bags to pick up poop! Usually an employee is hanging out as well taking photos of all the fun as well as picking up wherever it is needed. I love that they recently put up shade on both ends of the pool. It can get pretty hot under that Florida sun!
This facility is very adamant about making sure dogs attending are updated on all required vaccinations which I like. It gives me peace of mind that my pups will be safe and not exposed to anything that is harmful.
We’ve never used this place for daycare or boarding as it is too far but if it is anything based on the experience we have had, I am sure your pets would be in good hands.

Both me and my pups LOVE Happy Paws daycare!!! I like to drop my pups off a few times a month to socialize with other dogs and just play all day. I love that I can watch them have fun during the day, and I love how sleepy they are that night from all the playing :)

I really liked this place over the phone and my first impression in person was great too. They greeted my dog well and sweetly and helped my preggo self get all 65 lbs of him back in my truck Afterwards too!
I noticed they used some negative reinforcement training which I’m not opposed to but I prefer positive. However they don’t use treats as some dogs can be food possessive so I understand.
Overall my dog seemed happy and like he had a good time. I feel they’re safe there and love dogs. I also felt like they really liked my dog and will be happy to see him each time. Plus they have live web cams where you can watch your dog which really put me at ease and was fun to see. I’ll be back again and again for my dog.

We have our Corgi Meet-​ups here once in a while. The dogs always have so much fun! And the place is VERY clean! The only issue I have is the paper work. They want certain vaccinations to be done every six months, when the «norm» is to have them yearly. So to pay to get the vaccination done sometimes isn’t worth the visit if you are going just to take the dogs swimming. I TOTALLY understand if you board your pets a lot… but for a day at the pool…
I also find it very inconsistent. Many people are turned away for not being as up to date as the resort would like on the vaccine. But some people get let in regardless… it’s not fair to everyone.

I know everyone seem to be loving this place. I have to say out of all the ones I have seen, this is probably the best by far; however, it still doesn’t meet my expectations. As a proud, and loving parent I look for the best for my dog. Now, I left my dog for a weekend, i asked them to give him a shower the day of pick up and was expecting to see him through the videos on line.
Well, the weekend went by, I never was able to get a good picture of the videos, picked up my dog who was of course ecstatic to see me. He was given a shower with probably the worse shampoo available because his coat was kind of rough and his butt area was all scratch up like if other dog had got all over him. Then you wonder how well they are looking after your pets.
Overall, it’s an ok. place. Pretty decent with a friendly staff, I just wish I can leave my dog somewhere with total peace of mind and still haven’t found it.

My two dogs give this place eight enthusiastic paws up.
I left them there for a couple days over thanksgiving. The web cams are great. I could watch them frolicking with other dogs. Ever present were happy paws staff watching the dogs play.
They have a pool, huge field and other areas the dogs can play.
When I called for an update on them I got a very detailed summary of what and when they ate, how the slept, that my Finnegan had found a girlfriend to play with, that my Tupelo was doing well mixing with the other dogs, and other info I just loved hearing.
The price is reasonable, especially since they give a discount for multiple dogs when boarding if they share a room.
My dogs loved it, and I am happy to have a trusted place they can stay when I travel.
This is one of my few five stars…

Decided to check this place out after hearing raving reviews from our neighbor. I’m so glad we did, because everything was fantastic; not only for our dog, but for us too.
We toured the place prior to making our reservation and were blown away by the friendly staff, spacious play areas, and humungo pool. I heard this place had a pool, but I never would have imagined it was as large as it is. We went ahead and made a reservation on the spot.
Our dog stayed for 6 nights, 7 days. She seemed to love it. I was able to go online and watch her play on the video stream. It’s live as long as the dogs are up and playing. (Pretty sure the cameras go off at bedtime).
We chose to have our dog bathed before pick-​up and she looked gorgeous. We did arrive late, and they were nice enough not to charge us for late pick-​up since we called all morning to keep them updated while we were held up. They also gave us a picture they snapped while she was playing — a delightful souvenir.
This is definitely our new doggie daycare/​boarding spot without a doubt.
