We are a Family Owned and Operated Business with over 25 years of experience in Early Childhood Education. Our Center has the licensed capacity for 41 children. This allows us to have smaller class sizes so that your child can receive the proper attention they deserve. Our staff are professionally trained and very loving. We pride ourselves in providing a close family atmosphere. Most of our teachers have been part of the First Steps Family since 2009. We provide care for children between the ages of 6 Weeks old and 5 years of age. Tuition includes Breakfast, hot lunch, and afternoon snack. All meals are nutritional, our program is sponsored by the State Funded Food Program. We provide a Clean, Safe, Nuturing Family Environment that allows Children to Learn and Play while feeling at Home. We are bilingual and also accept 4-​C.

History

Established in 2001.

First Steps was opened in 2001 at the Alafaya Commons Shopping Center. In 2008 we moved to our existing location at 12 727 East Colonial Dr. Orlando, Fl 32 826

Meet the Business Owner

Jorge and Blanca T.

Business Owner

Blanca is the Owner/​Director of First Steps Pre School/​Development Center. Blanca brings with her over 25 years of experience in the Childcare Industry. In 1998 Blanca quit her job at an Aerospace company so that she could be more involved in our children’s education. She started working at the Pre School where our kids were going to be attending. Blanca started as an assistant teacher she started taking classes until she completed the 45 hour coarse of Introductory to Early Childhood Education. Blanca continued to work and take classes until she became a full time lead teacher. Our kids started Public School, by then Blanca knew that she loved working with children. She continued taking classes until she finally received her CDA in Early Childhood Education. After a couple of years she took the Director’s Credential exam and passed. She became Director of the first Pre School she first started as an assistant Teacher. Now we’ve been Blessed with owning our own Pre School.
