Great fun for our three generation family group. It was fabulous to watch our children interact with their grandparents in a new way. And, by the way, we saved the world, so you are welcome!

Very challenging. Awesome experience. Highly recommend. You may need a nudge to get to the first clue, and you nah find yourself stuck several times, but this was very fun, exciting, & difficult. We escaped with 2 minutes left. We booked 2 rooms, each with 6 people. The other group escaped too, with 4 minutes to spare. Don’t feel bad asking a clue or two. You will definitely need it.

This was my first ever escape room experienced and we did Shanghai, which is the second most difficult escape room and we were able to get out with six people with eight minutes to spare!

Had a BLAST! We didn’t succeed, but it was still a LOT of fun! I can’t wait to find one in my hometown!

This was my first escape room ever. My family and I picked the hardest room… probably not the best choice. You have 60 minutes to look for clues in the room to get you out. We didn’t make it but we still had a blast! Piece of advice: Choose an easier room if it’s your first time.

Visited while it was a rainy day in Orlando during a vacation. Fun place with a hipster vibe to it. The games are challenging, but once you complete it, the staff treat you to complimentary soft drinks and water. The game masters are very helpful, but also know when to let you be so that you can solve the puzzles yourself. We completed The Code with only 2 seconds to spare.

We were Shanghaied! But we worked as a team and escaped. It is as very challenging and we welcomed the help but we did it.
The only problem is we couldn’t use the 10% promo on Unilocal on the current experience. They said they would apply it to ‘my account’ for the next experience.

Escapology was something unique and fun for my group on a rainy day. We had originally planned on paddleboarding yesterday for my friend’s birthday but we were completely rained out. After some last minute searching and a quick peek at Groupon, we decided to give this place a try. We made sure we were early so we could sign the waivers.
The main entry and seating area is very steampunk looking with miscellaneous mind games in each little arrangement of couches and chairs. It made for a not so boring time while waiting on our room to be ready. Our gamemaster greeted us and took us to a room for a short video presentation of our situation and a few guidelines. The video said no phones and to place them in a locker but the guy never asked for our phones. We all turned them off and put them in our pockets.
We got to the room (Antidote) and it was a pretty cool little set up. They said it was actually the biggest room they had with 3 interconnected rooms to conquer. The gamemaster gave us a little nudge in the right direction when we got hung up. The game room was clean but there were a few miscellaneous damages already and a few poorly chosen design set ups, like cracked and chipped plexiglass and the warning sign that was taped to the wall (tape was running across it… it was tacky). Wash your hands after your done too. Our fingertips were black from either dust or the dry eraser. Our group finished with time to spare and they gave us bracelets (like the rubber Live Strong ones) that had our puzzle name on one side and Escapology on the other side. It was pretty fun. We’ll definitely do that again sometime.

The escape room was a great experience. My boyfriend and I chose to do the hardest room since it was our first experience here (why not, right?)
The staff here was really great, they came to check in every 10 – 15 minutes to make sure we were doing alright and even gave us clues that were indirect but helpful. We finished the room with a little less than 10 minutes to spare.
The ONLY reason this gets 4 stars instead of 5 is that they double booked our private experience so we were with four additional people. It was still fun, but put a small damper on everything since they completely took over the experience. However, Escapology comped half of our experience so that we may come again.
Needless to say, we rebooked for tomorrow, the second most difficult escape room. Hopefully our private reservations will stay private because we’re really eager to see how well we would do just to two of us.

Fun place! Looked very professional and well organized.
Downside was that we arrived 20 minutes late for our reserved game (totally our fault), but just keep in mind because they are very strict with their times since the games are timed and they want to honor other reservations.
It’s a lot of fun though, and I’d like to go back for our full allotted time. We played the Shanghai game, and we found some of the clues to be near impossible/​very challenging. Thankfully, we had some generous «game masters.»
What I like most about this location is that even if you are a small party, you get your own play experience.
I have gone to similar establishments in the past where they pair you with strangers if you are a smaller party. I feel that this makes the experience more challenging since you don’t know their personalities and how to strategize with them.
I’d go back to this place… super fun!
Tip: this is located a BUSY area. We were late due to traffic and poor planning to and from dinner. (Even though we were in the same area) Plan extra travel time so that it does not impact your experience. They do not offer refunds if you are late or miss part of your game.

It IS awesome! This facility provides «escape rooms». Each room has a concept and a «background story» which gives you a mission within the room. Once you are in the escape room, you have to figure out how to, hence, escape from it. How do you escape?! They provide hidden clues, puzzles and riddles you have to figure out within 60 minutes. Now while you are trying to find hidden clues and solving them, depending on your performance, every so often, your assigned game master, who is outside the room, but watching your performance, will come into the room and if you need «leading questions» to figure out the riddles and puzzles, they will help. But only if you want them. Your adrenaline is going nuts, you have plenty of fun and when you figure out the puzzles, it is a very rewarding feeling. Wether you win or lose, they take a picture of you and your entourage at the end and if you win, they give you a plastic bracelet of the room you escaped from, within time, as proof that you did it. I have already done 4 rooms in this location, all very challenging, but fun. I’ve only been able to escape from one room with 7 minutes to spare… It takes team work, patience and experience solving puzzles and riddles. I would highly recommend it for groups from 3 – 6. More than six, could get crazy. They charge you per person, around $ 30. If you have been there before, and you remember the name of your game master, you can get a 15% discount.

My husband and I took our 8 year old and 17 year old. We did the Arizona Shootout. It was fun for all. The ocassional hint from the master was other helpful and kept is going. Great time.

My friends & I were on Tuesday Evening for the BUDAPEST-​EXPRESS room. This was our first time at this business, but not our first escape room experience. I would say this was my 6^th experience so far. Overall I thought this place was great, but had a few flaws in my book.
Booking the room is different here. If one person books online, the time slot will be closed to other people. This allows the one person to make sure their group is secured for that time slot by themselves. Other businesses allow each person to book the same time slot. This means other people outside your group could join your team. The one pays online as the other folks pay at the time of the game at the business. I think this is a great idea, but it does lock out other people from trying to book a time slot.
Upon entering, the interior lobby was gorgeous! The furniture, scenery, smell, and colors made this place feel very upscale. It felt very classy and unique for an escape room experience. I loved it. The staff here was all friendly and welcoming. One guy, who I can’t remember his name, was the best employee here in my opinion. He explained to us our room, gave us details, explained how this business is different, and made sure we were ready. I overheard him talking to other guests about their experience in the room we were going into. They didn’t make it. The employee was offering them a special discount to try another room if any were open right now. I thought this was a wonderful strategy for customer relationship service because offering another room right now at a great discount is a win-​win situation for both parties.
I know when I complete an escape room, I am ready to tackle another one right then. The guest did take the offer and completed another room. Now back to me. Our room was ready for us. We watched a short video about our mission and theme. Then we entered our room. I will not give out any hints or spoilers.
The room was marvelous in details, theming, scenery, and layout. It really felt like we were on an old train. Sadly, we didn’t make it out in time. If only we had an additional 5 minutes.
My issues with this business were: One of the locks in the room was somewhat broken because we used the right word, but it wouldn’t open. We wasted about 5 – 10 minutes to unlock this lock with the correct word. The lock seems to be worn out and needs a replacement. Also, there was no line showing how to line up the word on the lock. I thought this was an technical issue that needs to be fixed.
The other issue I had was the fact the Game Master kept walking in our room making sure we were fine. I thought it destroyed the theming of having someone walk in during the game and taking some time off. I like the rooms where there is an intercom placed inside where the Game Master can speak to you inside and never see them. It feels like someone is talking inside your head. You can get as many clues or hints as possible. We needed help, but we couldn’t get the guy’s attention. We had to wait for me to come to us. Some rooms allow you to wave your hands to get their attention for clues. Not this place.
Overall I liked this place. I will be back to complete the other rooms over time. This place is not bad at all from what I heard. At the end of the game, you are offered complimentary soda or water. This is nice unwind treat.

This is an excellent game room. Our group let out an audible gasp when we walked in the front door. Escapology is in a business strip on I-​Drive that while being newly added is unassuming. Open the door, however, and you are transported to an almost speak-​easy of escape rooms with a steampunk feel to it. There should be a hidden door or a codeword (or knock) to get you in. Seriously, I felt like I had stepped into a different world such was the juxtaposition between the outside and the inside. Dimly lit, the room contains low leather chairs and couches clustered together for groups who are waiting. The wooden front desk station has an old-​world aura about it. There were rugs stretched out over the floor and the walls were a dark reddish brown to go with the speak-​easy feel. And the giant screened TV ran the scores from the last groups as well as trivia and logic questions.
We had decided to try Budapest Express which was not only their hardest but their newest puzzle to solve. You are assigned a game master (shout out to Ambyr who made sure we didn’t get into too much trouble) and they explain the rules and time limit for your game. You have 60 minutes to solve your room whether it is finding a murderer, stopping a missile crisis, escaping off a ship or any other of their puzzles.
I would definitely recommend going in with an «out-​side-​of-​the-​box» mentality. Organization and team work are key. You won’t bust out of the room by yourself (and the door isn’t really locked so for those of you who were feeling claustrophobic, you’re good).
The detail is spot on; our room felt like we really were on a train. I can only imagine that the other rooms are just as well done. They have a Unilocal deal going on right now if you check in: get 50% off a T-​Shirt. If you comeback, you can use your game master’s name as a discount code (don’t go ripping of mine!). I would hands down recommend this escape room and I can’t wait to go back.

This was my first go at an escape room. I went with a group of 5 total and we had a blast.
Escapology has 4 rooms (currently). Their newest and most difficult is the Budapest Express and our challenge of the day. Obviously I cannot explain a whole lot about the room itself but overall there are a lot of puzzles, clues and riddles you have to solve and piece together to figure out whodunit and what the number code to escape the room. You are given 1 hour to solve the puzzles and escape the room and we finished with 8 minutes to spare. I didn’t feel like we were going to lose. Our Game Master Ambyr checked in on us every 10 to 15 minutes in case we needed a clue. We only needed her for 1 clue.
The lobby and public areas of the location were clean and well kept. The décor was dark wood and leather of which I’m a big fan. The Game Masters were friendly and answered all the questions they could without giving anything away.
It’s a well put together experience and I highly recommend going!

Great ambience when you first walk in. Helpful and friendly staff. This was my first escape room experience, but I thought it was appropriately hard… I could see some having difficulty with the puzzles, but the staff will step in and ‘hint’ for you if you’re looking lost.
Overall, fun night out with friends!

After completing several escape rooms, I have to say Escapology is my favorite!
They start out getting you in the mood with a in depth video. It sets the mood nice! I’ve done two rooms here, and they have been well thought out and nicely built. The rooms vary in difficulty, so if you are a beginner, let them know and they can help you decide on a room. Each room can hold up to 8 people, and I like how they don’t lump others in with our group. That’s way you will feel more comfortable.
The interior is cool. It makes you feel like you are in the myths which is go along with the escape game really well. Some of game are provided in the table. And yes, there are comfy couches enough to seat everyone.
There are a lot of staff to take care of you, and they all are friendly and professional.
At the end after you escape the game room, you get your photo wearing cool costumes, and they even bring a complimentary beverage.
The price is reasonable for what you get. Booking online is recommended. I will be back to finish all the rooms they have because it’s worth driving from Tampa to Orlando.

J’ai adoré les thèmes proposés surtout celui sur le Western, et j’attends avec impatience de faire le nouveau dans un train à Budapest.
Au final j’ai testé trois rooms sur 4: Arizona, Shanghai et Cuban crisis.
Elles étaient donc très bien mais j’ai une préférence pour la première.
On a réussi à sortir de deux salles, j’ai trouvé les décors vraiment sympa et les énigmes originales même si certaines se ressemblent à force entre les différentes rooms.
Le lobby est très classe et c’est top de proposer une boisson à la fin car ça donne soif de réfléchir et de fouiller de partout!
Petite originalité ici le maître du jeu rentre dans la salle pour vous donner des indices, c’est un peu bizarre au début mais au final pourquoi pas ça ajoute de l’interaction au jeu; en plus on a eu la chance de tomber sur Mariam qui parlait français les premières fois.
Très bon escape game au final à tester si vous êtes sur Orlando ça change des parcs d’attractions classiques mais c’est aussi bien!

What a fantastic time!
There are four different games that can be played and it looks like each game has 2 rooms to maximize amount of visitors.
The point of the game is to break out of the room using clues and hints before the hour timer runs out… but if you’re ready this, you probably already knew that.
We played the Cuban Missile Crisis and it was insane amounts of fun! Make sure you are with a good group of analytical folks and I’m sure you will have a blast as well.
We went to Escapology as a team-​building activity and everybody loved it, so this place is fantastic for to use in order to bring their employees closer together.
They change the games every 4 – 6 weeks so you can be sure to keep coming back without the fear of having the same riddles and puzzles.
On the next trip to Orlando, I will definitely come back here!

This was our third escape room, and by far the best! Customer service was outstanding! We did Shanghai, and I really enjoyed the storyline to help us get into character. Very well thought out room! I don’t want to give anything away, so I’ll keep this short.
The only negative I can think of, is someone actually comes in the room periodically, so that takes away from the feeling of being locked in. Would be better if there was a talking parrot (fake of course) to give clues, and believe me, we needed clues!
Overall, super fun! Well worth it, and we will be back to do the rest of the rooms soon!

Apparently «escape room» attractions are the new thing, but I had never heard of this type of experience until my friends said that they went on a Groupon. An escape room is where you and a group of people are locked in a room filled with riddles and puzzles which you must find and solve in order to leave your enclosure.
Escapology sets itself apart by having specifically themed rooms that follow a certain storyline (Cuban Missile Crisis, a western shootout, an Asian mystery, and a modern day medical crisis). Groups of up to 5 people can enter and they have one hour to escape the room. While inside, there is a timer and sound effects that go with the room theme. The game master enters the room every 15 minutes or so to see if your group is stuck, and will offer hints to help you along. If your group escapes in the shortest amount of time with the fewest or no hints, you will get immortalized on the leaderboards!
At $ 30 for a one-​hour experience, Escapology is pricey, but I think totally worth the money. Two downsides is there is no re-​playability (once you solve a room, you wouldn’t go back) and only a few people can go in a room at one time. Fortunately, Escapology brainstorms for new room experiences after some time.
Do not go if you are clausterphobic; the game rooms are small and you are locked in when your hour starts. Obviously you can open the door anytime you need to leave, but you are under the added stress of solving the puzzle. I went with a group of 5 adults and we filled up the room.
The waiting room is very pretty and the staff is friendly. They offered us beverages before and after our hour in the room. I highly recommend trying Escapology at least once! I am hooked and can’t wait until I can try the other rooms.
Call or book online to reserve a room, but do so early because they will sell out. They also accept walk-​ins.
