Pump It Up

Excellent Place!!!
This place is great because only your party guests are in one room after about an hour of fun you go to the next room with only your guests and continue with the fun after that you go to a party room for food and cake. Grownups, teenagers and toddlers all enjoyed this place. Guaranteed Fun for all ages unless you are the type that doesn’t want to kick off shoes and jump around.

A lot nicer than most of places like this. I just wish they had an option where you had access to party rooms the entire party. However, overall very professional and clean.

Never crowded, very clean, and there are always great coupons! Perfect place for a playdate, especially in the winter!

Brought my 8 yr old son and 5 friends there for his birthday. The facility itself is fine and the staff was nice but I would NEVER bring them back. I was taken aback by the absolute lack of safety protocols. They have 2 main rooms for playing and for approximately 50 – 60 kids there was ONE staff person per room. I personally witnessed 3 injuries inside of 25 minutes and personally had to ask one staff person to watch the area where I feared kids were going to get hurt. Then I asked the 2 staff people if it was normal that only one person works each room. I was told that that was normal procedure and they weren’t really trained on how to keep the rooms safe. Bottom line is that this facility was unsafe because no one was supervising the staff properly. Against my better judgment we stayed and allowed the kids to play and my own son ended up getting hurt.
I asked for a call from the business manager (this was a Friday and she was not on duty that night) and was told I’d get a call on Monday. I never got a call Monday and followed up on Tuesday. After describing the situation and what happened that night she assured me that all of her staff are trained on safety procedures and that she was upset that my family’s experience was like that. I will say that every staff person that I spoke to at this location was very respectful and nice but I wouldn’t bring back my child or anyone else’s child for fear that they could get hurt.

I’ve been to Pump It Up a few times. The first time was summer 2 years ago and it was free to the public for an hour or two. I had brought my 5-​year-​old son and my 6-​year-​old nephew. The 2 boys immediately jumped in and were exuberant. The problem: The manager approached me and pointed out that (my son) was not wearing socks, so he couldn’t play. He added that a patron brought it to his attention. I told him I was unaware of the policy – and really new to the inflatable scene. He didn’t offer me any remedy (buying of socks). I happened to have a pair of socks in my car’s trunk. You know that disappointing incident really dimmed the joy of that visit. I found the management insensitive and unhelpful. But since then, my son has attended a few other bday parties there – with socks. He’s had a blast. But I wouldn’t patronize Pump It Up.

How have I NOT reviewed Pump It Up yet? My son – now six – was initiated into the PIU world last year at one of the many, many Kindergarten birthday parties he attended. Once his big day rolled around this past May, he turned a cold shoulder on the previously adored Mechanical Rat (Charles E. Cheez) and declared Pump It Up *the* place to be. Well, okay then… PIU it was!
As is customary at his school, we invited the whole Kindergarten class, although I think there were a few people who were unable to attend. For those unfamiliar, the Pump It Up party set up – at least in our instance – rolled on like this: private time in inflatables arena number one (there was a rock climb wall in this room), private time in inflatables arena number two, pizza, cake (bring your own!), ice cream, and presents in a private party room to round it all out.
The GOOD:
[x] PRIVACY! In each room, we were the only people. That meant there were no strange kids, no negligent parents, no issues of overcrowding, and no possibility of losing an errant party guest. This is huge, people. If you’ve ever tried to supervise 20+ five and six year olds, you get what I’m saying here, don’t you? The element of privacy/​security was awesome.
[x] The inflatable options. All of the kids – even my then two year old – had a blast tearing it up in the inflatable arenas. (And if we’re going to be entirely honest, my husband had a blast on the inflatables, too. :) They were able to use their imaginations, burn off some energy, and get sweaty and disgusting. In short, the kids were happy. :) There was ample seating in all three areas for parents and everyone left smiling and exhausted.
[x] The party coordinator. Dear g*d, if I could remember her name, I’d probably name my future daughter after her. She was THAT good. She herded the kids like cattle and did it all with a smile on her face. She served pizza and cake and even wrote down all the gifts (with the giver’s name attached) so we could keep track for our thank you notes. There was no clean up, and the party was the easiest I’ve ever thrown. Basically, you show up and rock out and your party coordinator keeps it real. Amazing!

[x] Honestly, there’s only one tiny complaint I have… and that’s the price. Good grief was my son’s bash EVER expensive! I think it ran us about $ 475 for 25 kids for a few hours. Yikes. :/​Isn’t that, like, My Super Sweet Sixteen level of expense? In fairness, all the bells and whistles were included: pizza, Dippin’ Dots, goodie bags, juice boxes, balloons, a shirt for the birthday boy, invites, thank you notes, paper goods, etc. There was no set up or clean up. But even still… almost half a «G» for a kid’s sixth birthday? Not for the faint of heart – or the financially savvy, apparently. But legit for real, that was the ONLY downfall of our party experience – and I’m hard-​pressed to call it an authentic «downfall».
In short, it was an amazing place to throw a birthday bash and the kids all had a ball. If you don’t mind spending a little green, you can save yourself the headache of the Mechanical Rat and the heartache of clean up where hosting a bash at your casa is concerned. Especially compared to the competitors out there (check out my reviews and you’ll see what I mean), Pump It Up has my vote allllll the way. :)

I was invited a birthday party for a kid here. I live out in the OP and never knew this place even existed. It is smack in the middle of a residential area.
Pump it Up was very clean. The kids had a blast. The teenage moderators/​people in charge kept everyone moving along pretty well. We spent an hour in one room that has jumpy stuff for the littler kids and a basketball shooting game and air hockey for the surly teen set. The next room had a giant blow up slide which was super fun, another larger blow up obstacle thing and a blow up basketball court.
The final destination on our party trek through Pump It Up was the food room. They order their pizza from Barracos. Yum. We were expecting bad kid place pizza and this was so not that. It was not only edible, it was enjoyable.
They have a large parking lot.

This is a great venue to have a birthday party for a 3 – 8 year olds. Older children might be a bit bored with the huge inflatable play arenas. You’re guided to two different rooms. The children have 30 – 40 minutes play time in each room. From there they go to the party room where the pizza and birthday cake is served. Each party is about 2.5 hours.

What a great place to have a kid’s party. We had IV’s 6^th birthday party there. The staff is so accommodating, from playing with the kids to setting up/​breaking down the party room for you — EVERYTHING IS TAKEN CARE OF BY THEM. Gives the parents a chance to relax & enjoy the party with the younglings. The kids had a blast! They literally made IV feel like a king on his special day.

As the mother of a school-​aged child, I’m certainly becoming a connoisseur of children’s birthday parties. The latest adventure was to Pump It Up.
Having been to two other inflatable venues prior, I had a good idea of what to expect. However, the moment I walked in the door, I knew this place was far above the rest. First of all, this place is incredibly well maintained. Every inch is clean and brightly colored. The inflatables themselves are in excellent shape and the staff is very friendly.
The real prize goes to the layout and organization. The party is broken down into four parts. First, the guests arrive and meet in the rather large lobby area. The staff places a cart out for kids to drop the presents and then put on a video for them outlining the rules for safe play once the party begins. Then, the staff lets them into the first room. In this room, there are about five inflatables with bench seating for the parents. The kids put their shoes on a rolling cart and are free to play for a period of time. Once time is up, they are escorted through a set of doors to another large room with four or five new and different inflatables. The rolling shoe cart comes along so that when play time in that room is over, the kids can have grab their shoes and head into the last room — the party room. This last room is where the kids can have pizza and cake. The present cart from the lobby is brought in and there is a large inflatable royal thrown for the birthday boy or girl to sit.
For a parent, planning a party with a large number of children can be very difficult. Having had my son’s at home last year, I appreciate the benefits of handing the reigns over to an organized facility that caters to kids entertainment. And I sure will be considering Pump It Up for my son’s next party.

I just have my daughter’s 3^rd birthday party at Pump It Up this past Saturday. I am so happy that I made my decision to have her party here. From the moment, we arrived, the staff were courteous, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. We had 4 staff members who were energetic and made sure that we kept on a schedule. The place is extremely clean and efficient. Parents were commenting how they will have their kids party at Pump It Up because it was just a great experience. By the way, I also come here on Free Jump Days for my 3 year old and also had a wonderful experience. Thanks Pump It Up for my making my daughter’s 3^rd birthday a wonderful day!!!

Great indoor party place! My four year old had a blast. The highlight is that the place is super clean (even the bathrooms). They have a really good system in place and stay on schedule. I agree with Jennifer M. – much better than Chuck E Cheese.
Downside…it is far but my son past out in the car on the drive back.

This is my new favorite spot! We went here for a New Years Eve party for the kids and it was SO cute, included a pizza party, champagne (sparkling juice) toast, and New Years count-​down. It was a little crowded that day, though I’ve heard its not very busy during the week which makes their ‘Free Jump’ days even better. I’d say the best age group for Pump It Up is 3 – 8. My toddler had a complete blast; it’s pure physical activity with bounce houses and bouncy slides. We do not plan to ever return to Chuck E. Cheese (phew) after being to this place!
