Ken Garff Honda of Orem is a great dealership! It is obvious that they want to sell cars and are willing to make a deal that benefits the customer. Everything is quick and easy!

We had a really good experience at Ken Garff Honda in Orem. When we got there, Cornel immediately greeted us and answered all of our questions. He didn’t push paperwork on us instantly like other salesman and treated us like good friends. We went to Larry H Miller in Murray to shop around (like anyone would) and the sales tactics there were incredibly unattractive. All in all, our experience with Ken Garff was amazing and I would highly recommend anyone to go there for a Honda purchase! Thank you Cornel!

So they are losing our business for good. I just found out, from another mechanic, that when we had brakes put on the vehicle that they put the wrong part on. This caused a clunking sound when we backed out, then went forward. Unbelievable. This is the dealer, and they put the wrong part on the car!

Today I went to inspect and register my car. Despite the horrifically long lines, Ken Garff Honda made it very bearable.
Their lounge has a children’s area with toys, a couch for the parents and a TV with children’s movies playing. Nearby is another very nice lounge area with a big screen TV.
They have all of the normal waiting room accommodations like magazines, vending machines, and free wifi available. They also provide free drinks and popcorn. They have fountain drinks that includes Coke products which makes the good pebble ice! They also have a Starbucks coffee machine available (which includes hot chocolate – awesome!)
Aside from the waiting room the customer service was great. The day I went they were very busy and I had to get back to school. They were totally willing to accommodate me and get me out as fast as they could. They were very understanding and nice.
When I got my car back it was washed and vaccines. In all I was very impressed with their services and will go to them for any other car needs as long as they keep their prices down. I priced out a few things on my car and they were way more expensive than I was expecting. Other than that it was a good experience.

Maybe it’s my fault for buying a Honda. Maybe it’s my fault for buying a Honda Odyssey. Maybe it’s my fault for buying a Honda Odyssey in Utah county, where it seems 1 out of every 5 vehicles is a Slate Green Metallic Honda Odyssey. These are all plausible reasons that led me to have a horrible experience getting a recall repair at Ken Garff Honda in Orem today.
One week ago, I called to schedule service for a recall repair. It was a little annoying that the first opening was a week out, but not too much trouble as we weren’t prevented from using the van during that time. I asked if they could provide an estimate on the time it would take to complete the repair. Sounding familiar with the work to be done, he told me for that particular repair to plan on about 2 hours. So that was that, the appointment was set for a week later at 11:45 AM.
As I pulled up to the service department today, I was a little unnerved by the dozen or so cars ahead of me in the three-​laned bay, but I made an appointment so I didn’t have anything to worry about. After handing over the keys, my wife and I left to have lunch and then did a little shopping. Two hours later, I returned to check on the car’s status. They hadn’t been able to start on it yet, and it wasn’t going to be ready until 5:00 PM. Annoyed again, but not a huge deal, my wife took me back to work with the plan to return after 5:00 PM to pick it up.
My wife picked me up again at 5:30 and we made our second trip from Lehi to Orem to pick up the van just before closing. She dropped me off and I made my way to the service department. Things didn’t look promising. The service reps were each about two customers deep. One was on the phone with a customer explaining the good news that their car keys had been found, but that the bad news that they weren’t able to finish the work on their car today. Another rep was also explaining to a different customer that their car keys were lost, and they were trying to locate them. As my turn came up, I wasn’t hopeful. My suspicions were confirmed. They hadn’t been able to start on my vehicle, but they could get to it tomorrow.
I expressed my disappointment very calmly, asked for my keys, and then headed home to write this review and look for another Honda dealership to get the recall repair taken care of.
They clearly overbooked. They didn’t provide an accurate estimate of time. They caused two trips from my home instead of one. When things were getting bad, they didn’t communicate to me about the status of my repair. They didn’t offer any sort of apology for providing such awful service beyond a shrug of the shoulders, and there were definitely several others who had the same experience today.
For the thousands of you owning a Honda vehicle in Utah County, consider taking it elsewhere for any kind of service. Since Ken Garff prides themselves on hearing their customers, I hope they’ll hear me, and take steps to prevent this from happening to others.

This rating is for the service department. I have used them for 10 years for my Pilot. They generally do a good job with maintenance and repairs. Prices are a bit high, as you would expect for a dealer. However you should keep your own records. They will recommend maintenance items but when I check my records I have already had that service recently. They would earn a higher rating from me if they would check your car’s service records before telling you that you need work done.

I leased my car here a couple years ago and I have had an extremely positive experience! The service department has been amazing. They have gone out of their way several times to help me. The whole leasing experience was smooth and personable. I would recommend Ken Garff Honda of Orem to everyone! Thank you!

My windshield was broken during a routine diagnostic. They refused to replace or even assist in finding a replacement for the broken windshield. The staff are unprofessional, unaccommodating and unpleasant to work with. I recommend finding another place to do business.

I’d love to say that I had a perfect buying experience here, but I didn’t. The actual transaction wasn’t that bad. The salesman wasn’t extremely pushy. It was the three months after purchasing my car that I have issues with.
About a month after I had my car, I still hadn’t gotten my license plates. After numerous calls I finally got them two months after I purchased my car. Of course this was after I got a parking ticket for not having valid plates (luckily they covered the cost).
Part of the deal was they would replace a small clip by the gear shifter. Three months later I finally got it. I am not sure if I would buy from this location again, but I love my car and I’m happy with my selection.

I can’t help but give five stars to Honda in Orem! They are sooooo extremely helpful and efficiently! Go see Scott in the service dept and he will be sure to take care of you! Every time I go in, they ALWAYS take great care of me, and worthy to mention, don’t rip you off like other car services! Take my word, and go to ken garff Honda in Orem for the best service in Utah county!

We just purchased our second car within two months from Mark. He was so professional we couldn’t go anywhere else! Hope he is around for our next honda purchase!

Scott West and the gang in the Service Department have taken care of our two new Honda Vehicles (Paul Stuart is our salesman and unrivaled in customer service and integrity.) for the past 14 years and always took FANTASTIC care of our vehicles and treated us like family!
Recently, my wife and I relocated to Mesa Arizona due to health reasons. Prior to our move, we had a nagging issue with the brake light (on the dashboard) staying on. In spite of several attempts to correct the problem (the brakes were done as well as the break fluid reservoir cap being replaced), the light recently came on again.
We took our CRV into a dealership here in Mesa and they discovered a problem with a wire going into the brake fluid reservoir had come loose. They fixed the problem and contacted Scott West up in Orem and explained the issue. Scott is a man of honor and integrity. He stepped up to the plate and offered to reimburse me for this repair which was much appreciated.
I will miss the folks at Ken Garff Honda in Orem as they always treated me like family and have the utmost integrity. Scott (and the gang in the Service Department) and Paul (in Sales), thanks for all the years of outstanding service, integrity and friendship! The Honda Dealership (Honda of Superstition Springs) here in Mesa has big shoes to fill!

They’re fast and friendly, but be cautious about authorizing services prematurely: I know that’s their job to find addition things to do to make money, but their suggestions were not necessary and cost more than could be done reliability elsewhere.

Very painless experience. Found the used car I wanted online before I came in. Not only did I get the Internet price but I also got extra off the car. Really nice salesman named Kevin helped us. Very recommended

They inspected a used car I was thinking of buying from a private seller. I paid $ 125 and they did not notice the broken headlight. When I pointed it out to the guy he said he was sorry but didn’t really seem to care. What else did they miss?
