Pathways for Veterans is a 501©(3) non-​profit Veterans Organization founded in 2010 by Gary Ferguson, a Vietnam Combat Veteran, in Sacramento, CA. After returning from Vietnam Gary experienced many of the common pitfalls and suffered through the consequences of his choices. Eventually he rediscovered his true identity and developed a passion to be of service to others. His new mission in life is to create healthy ‘Pathways for Veterans’ so they might side-​step these same pitfalls in life.

Pathways is Veterans helping Veterans understand VA benefits, resources and services; answering questions concerning PTSD and TBI resources; providing life coaching and job training. Pathways can also provide transformational education and experiential learning seminars through Scholarship Programs.

When Gary Ferguson returned from Vietnam he experienced many of the common pitfalls and suffered through the consequences of his choices just like so many others. Eventually he rediscovered his true identity and developed a passion to be of service to others. His new mission in life is to create healthy ‘Pathways for Veterans’ so they might side-​step these same pitfalls in life. Gary has set Pathways’ mission:

— When all Veterans and their families are out of harm’s way and their needs have been met and only then, as Americans, may we rest.
