This place is terrible. I was lied to again and again. I was told when we bought our puppy he needed to go to the vet for shots. 2 days later we got him. I called back because I took him to the vet and the vet told me he had none of his shots. So i called the store and talked with the manager and she told me that the vet does not give him any shots the breeder did. Then i said i have never heard of that. She said oh wait we gave him his shot. Nope. Lies. My vet said he has none of his shots and is sick. So do not buy anything from here. The lady called me a lier. Yeah ok lady.

Prices are a rip off can find the same breeds of animals for a lot cheaper other places. I bought a puppy from them and shortly afterwards the same breed puppy was being sold for 300 $ cheaper and I asked them why and they made up lame excuses. I did research on the breed and breeders the information they gave me was false as to why they changed prices so much. I know people say adopt don’t shop, but those poor animals in their need families too and I felt bad seeing them in those tanks. The puppy I got from there was/​is sick and filled with parasites. Be careful getting an animal from them. They say their vets check them, but I don’t think so being that my puppy has cost me hundreds of dollars to get rid of these parasites she has.

Terrible place Why does this exist? Poor animals living in cages and tanks. Kittens have discharge from their eyes and noses and the dogs all look lethargic. Most likely all sick due to terrible puppy mills. This should be ELIMINATED. ADOPT DONT SHOP trust me. There’s plenty of pets that need homes in the shelter ! Do not support this place it’s dirty and they give wrong advice it’s all about the money.

The living conditions for these animals are horrible! I’ve been here twice and they just don’t seem like they keep them clean. Sure they are animals but I’ve gone to other places with good hygienes! Poor animals

This place is excellent with all their services and care they provide for these animals. To most people it may seem like a animal abuse but I know they really care about these animals and they do everything to make sure they stay good and healthy
I definitely recommend this place to other people who are animal lovers just like me … Come let the dogs and play with the bunnies

We bought our beloved Lucky dog a lab here 15 years ago! He was the best dog anyone could ever ask for! He never got sick but unfortunately he was stricken with Cancer and died after 10 years old. It has taken us two years to get over his death and now that we are considering getting a new puppy I’m going to try the Pet Pantry first stop! I grew up visiting this pet store every weekend and it’s nice to hear that same owners still own it. I would suggest to anyone getting a new animal to visit this place!

Great experience with our service here! Our cat had worms when we bought it and the service clerk was very nice and helping us deworm it! They seem like they actually care about all the animals. Good Job Pet Pantry!

Walked into the shop yesterday because my son LOVES to look at puppies whenever we go to the mall. His 3^rd birthday is coming up shortly and I had done some research on some potential pups for my little guy, a Shiba Inu being one of them (my favorite by choice). I don’t know if it was pure luck, but we thought we had seen the entire selection of dogs and gave up after not seeing a Shiba Inu. Right before walking out, my mom noticed a tiny black ball of fur and little did we know, there was our little Shiba.
Without even thinking twice I decided I wanted to bring her home with us. Ashely was amazing! Not only did she help us out right away, but she helped me pick out all of the necessary items for our little pup. I was a bit nervous (kinda like bringing a baby home nervous), but she helped ease that by going over all of the paperwork with me.
Overall the experience was great and my son walked out of that shop with the biggest smile on his face. They also called back the day after to check up and see how our puppy was doing. We’re proud to be the owners of our little Nala :) Thank you for such wonderful service!

One bad employee gave me a bad impression of the whole store. However, when my husband and I went back it was like a totally different place. We purchased a husky puppy there who apart from having some bladder control problems is a wonderful addition to our growing family. She gets along great with my 8 week old GSD and even though she’s slightly afraid of people she’s doing great!

I bought a beautiful basset hound yesterday. The financing was super ez, and the girls were amazingly helpful and knowledgeable. Fixed me up with a free bag of food and all the supplies i need for my new baby. :) expensive, but the puppies are healthy, micro chipped, AKC registered, and you get vet/​supplies discounts… WORTH IT! thanks Pet Pantry!

This is a great pet store. I’ve gotten 3 most wonderful dogs in the world at this store and I think its the best pet store I’ve ever known. Lacy is very helpful. There may be other more negative stores but this particular store is an exception. I’m hoping to get my forth dog at this store and I know I can trust that they’ll have healthy puppies. The prices are reasonable. I’ve been coming here for I think about 30 years. My dogs lived wonderful and long lives. They were all very healthy. This store is making a difference by getting heathy puppies to families who’ll love them their entire lives. I really like this store! I even have one dog who is currently a licensed service dog and has been for 7 years.

In September 2009 I walked into the Pet Pantry in the old Orange mall on Tustin street with the BF at the time and our friends on a unexpected journey. I was not in the market for a dog. I quickly disappeared and started looking and asked to hold the Australian Shepard puppy mix that was staring at me. I had never held a baby Aussie. She was so sweet and gentle and I knew I needed to take her home. Thats all it took. I asked the BF is he wanted to hold her and he said no, because he didnt want to buy another dog. We left, and a piece of me stayed behind.
The next day I called to see if she was still there. I went back with our other dog Princess, the BF and some friends and bought her. It was the best feeling ever. I mean the most magical feeling of love that generated through my entire body. Im talkingg goose bumps, butterflies, chills, happiness all rolled into one. A feeling I wont forget to this day. It was as if I gave her a soul when I brought her home. It was one of the top 5 days of my life. If not, the one of the best feelings of my life. She was mine, all mine. And the now Hubsters, who used to be the BF loves her to pieces.
Buying her was easy peasy. They take cash or credit. Huge thumbs up to my dear friend who doesnt Unilocal for loaning me the $ 300 it cost for me to buy her. After negociating the price the wonderful manager gave me a free stuffed toy which she still has and a can of food.
Fast forward to 2015, Fiona is in perfect health for the most part. I never had any problems with her, other than puppy worms which was treated and some itchy skin, like her momma.
I have visited the Pet Pantry several times to look at the animals. Although Rescue is the way, I feel these furbabies are well cared for. They usually have a good selection of dogs, birds, bunnies, rescue cats, ect and a history of where they came from.
The staff has always been friendly and offer a good collection of treats, toys, clothing, accessories, ect at small store prices.
Not sure why all the hate here, but Im a fan.

I bought my huskie at the pet pantry, it’s the best thing I did.
The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful, i called
a few times back, the’re always courteous and answered my questions.
I recommend you to shop there for your pet needs.

Always love coming here since i was young they have all types of pets to choose from whether it be birds, dogs, fish, hamster etc.
Family owned business and the same employees for years and they are always respectful and helpful.
Some dogs are a bit pricey but for the most part they’re fairly inexpensive depending on the pet

I love visiting this pet store! There is a variety of dogs to choose from! They have birds, rodents, rabbits and cats! The Persians are gorgeous and during kitten season the owner offers domesticated litters of kittens for the price you would recieve from a animal shelter. The animals seem well socialized, and the store is clean and well stocked. Financing is offered for some of the expensive animals, and the prices are fair compared to other pet stores. I have not bought a pet from this store, but I jave boughy toys for my kitties. But I do lots of window shopping! :-)

We bought our pup here last year. I was really impressed with the amount of time they spent with us while making this big decision. The staff was helpful and friendly. They wouldn’t let us take her until she’d been checked out by their vet. Many people get angry about the puppy mill thing. Our first dog is a rescue, but long story short we wanted a beagle (don’t need to get into that) In my opinion every dog for sale or adoption anywhere needs a loving forever family home. I’d take them all if I could. I’m happy to bring my little peanut home from here and give her a beautiful life.

This place is the most disgusting, unsanitary, and just outright wrong pet place. They not only hurt their pets by feeding them pet food with CORN in it but they try and act like they know about pets and try to oversell you on the wrong products. Like really??? At least know what your talking about when your selling a product.

Like every other pet store, except in a tired, sad, setting with dirty facilities. Dogs are overpriced and sick and most don’t have papers. (They are selling dogs for 1200 and no papers).

Wonderful staff everyone was nice and welcoming! I bought my mini aussie he is wonderful very playful.
I loved how they all we’re helping me and my family out for everything food, bed, cage, collar and leash ext…
Their also very knowledgeable with all the pets they have and answered every question I asked!
Wonderful pet store will come back :)
