I love cars. Very expensive cars! I have a 2014 Porsche 911 Turbo and a 2015 Tesla Model S P85D «Ludicrous» I am not accident prone! But idiots abound! The kind who open doors with a shove and look later at the havoc they induce, and then drive away without notice, of course. Just such an apparent anonymous idiot took aim at my Turbo and scored an ugly door dent which he didn’t own up to. Hence a need for repair. Jim Pojar is an artist!!! He made the ugly go away. Go totally away! No sign of the trouble even though it was on a seam, in a prominent place. Service was great. He shows up when he says he will. He does a job at an extremely fair price… a fraction of what a body shop charges. So, if you want quality and an exceptionally fair price, form an honorable artisan, Jim Pojar is your man! They don’t come any better, fairer or nicer! I wish I could say this was the first time I used him. It’s the third or fourth! I would drive 500 miles to use him again, and I may have to when I move out of town.

Jim came to my house and repaired a very significant dent and scratches on my BMW. He matched the paint perfectly and did an excellent job. He repaired damage that other mobile repair services (with great Unilocal reviews) told me could not be fixed by them. His price was extremely fair and reasonable, and he was super honest. I highly recommend him.

When my barely two-​months-​old 2016 WRX became the victim of a hit and run, I scoured the web and got estimates from everyone and their mom. I literally lost sleep over the damage, despite however minor it may have actually been (the relationship between a man and his car is SACRED haha).

Update 1: It Was The Wrong Shade!
Had to update this out of sheer awe at Jim’s honesty and integrity
A few hours after the job was done, I received a call from Jim about him having possibly used the wrong shade of silver on my bumper. So I pulled my car out of the garage and into the sun and, after quite a bit of staring (and a call back to Jim to confirm), noticed the slight difference in the shades.
Any other repairman probably would have kept quiet, but Jim acknowledged that if I hadn’t noticed it (and I almost didn’t!), one of my friends would have eventually pointed it out; Hence the call.
That kind of honesty and integrity is so hard to find nowadays. You read these horror stories in Unilocal reviews all the time where something wasn’t done right, so a bunch of back and forth ensues and the BBB has to be brought in just to get the issue resolved… Who the hell wants to go through all that? So for a professional to proactively call you, admit to a barely noticeable mistake, then work with you to try and make it right?
Wow. Just wow. Text book integrity, right there.
Anyway, Jim said he’d move some appointments around and fix it on Tuesday after work, since I wasn’t going to be available on Saturday.

Jim is great! He was super responsive when we contacted him about painting some large scratches on the back of our car. He made what can be a very stressful process easy by coming right to our house and doing the job in a matter of hours (versus taking the car to a shop for multiple days). Most importantly though, he did a fantastic job fixing the scratches on our car and matched the paint perfectly, all for a very reasonable price. Highly recommend!

Jim gave us a great quote and arrived on time. He did an excellent job on my car. My bumper was heavily scratched from putting bikes, camping equipment etc. in and out of the back. It really looked bad. Thanks to Jim, it now looks brand new again. The best part is that he came to our home to do the job. Jim was polite, professional and clean. He also touched up some dings on the side of my car and made my headlights look shiny again for no extra charge. He finished by the time he said he would and also gave us some good recommendations for the care of our paint. I would highly recommend Jim’s service.

Jim came out to my house at the exact time that he said he’d be there.
He not only repaired the dent in the front bumper of my white BMW, but he also repaired another smaller one that took a lot of work for hardly any additional money. I tipped him great! You can hardly tell where either of the dents were. he does GREAT work, is on time, and is very affordable! I highly recommend him. I made my appointment two weeks out and it was worth the wait! Will call him again for future work if needed!

This is another in a long list of satisfied customers. Jim repaired a minor ding in the rear bumper of my E350 MBZ. I’m fussy, but not fanatic, about the appearance of my car, and this little «boo-​boo» was driving me nuts. Jim repaired the damage, and touched up a few other pits in the body. The damage was repaired so that you cannot tell it was ever there, and the paint matches the rest of the car perfectly. And, being mobile means never having to leave the office to get the repairs done.

Jim and his son came by yesterday to repair my rear bumper. It’s pretty rare when a business lives up to the Unilocal hype… but I have to say Jim is the real deal! I wish all guys in automotive service had this client service attitude. Pricing was very fair and competitive for the work and results provided.

Thanks, Jim! He came to my work and fixed the front bumper on my BMW. It was convenient and less stress than taking it to a body shop. The bumper looks amazing! I am very particular on details and the quality of work and paint that Jim applied to the bumper blew me away. He even charged me less than his original quote after he looked at the bumper and noticed he could blend in the paint half-​way down the bumper. It’s flawless. Jim is amazing. I scrapped the paint off the bumper panel of my car. I sent him photos and two weeks later he was in my driveway making the repairs. Not only did he do a PERFECT job, but he also redid a different bit of paint damage from a previous altercation I had with the garage door (OOOPS)!
He charged me less than the quote because he ended up able to buff out some of the damage and was quick, neat and super efficient. This guy is as honest as they come. He does exactly what he promises, shows up exactly when he says, charges a more than fair price, and is super nice to boot. It’s scary to make car repairs and you never know what you are getting, but with Jim, integrity is the name of the game. We appreciate both the honesty and the obvious pride he takes in his work.
I would recommend him to anyone who asked and given my propensity for knocking into stuff, I will surely see him again :)

Jim is the real deal. He is professional, courteous, prompt and full of integrity.
When he saw the damage to the front bumper, he wanted to make sure I wanted to spend the money since it wasn’t very noticeable. I told him since it’s a brand new car, we were willing to spend the money to fix it.

On time, great pricing, great work. Only downside is everyone seems to know that and he is constantly booked. That means it might take a few extra days of waiting to get your appointment, but trust me it is worth it. Last time I had a body shop repair my bumper, they had to respray it 5 times over the course of 8 days before it matched well enough for me to take delivery. Now imagine my shock and awe when Jim shoes up at my house and in just a couple of hours fixes both my bumpers and it matches perfectly the first time. Worth the wait and the price is amazingly good.

Jim is awesome! He offers very fair pricing and excellent work. I had some damage on my back bumper from accidentally backing up into one of those concrete posts in parking structures. Jim came to my place of work and repaired it in about 2 hours while I was working; I loved that he’s mobile so I wouldn’t have to specifically set aside time to take my car anywhere to get fixed.

Jim is a complete professional. Paint and body is one of those «magical voodoo arts» that has always escaped me in my years of mechanical experience. Jim was a testament to this art.
I originally brought my vehicle to a body shop near my house to get an estimate for a scuff on my front bumper, a ding on my rear bumper and a ding in my drivers door. The body shop quoted me $ 1100. After some research I found Jim and sent him photos. He recommended Todd with Dent Authority for the door ding and proceeded to quote me a price for the bumpers at a FRACTION of what the body shop wanted. After reading the other reviews, I proceeded to go with Jim. I’m so glad I did.
His work is excellent and his professionalism is top notch. I was so impressed, that I am going to have him repair my other vehicle so we can sell it at much better price.
