Wabi Sabi Teppan Steak House & Sushi Bar

I have been here twice and my experience here the two times I have came were horrible. The first time I came, I got sushi because I love sushi, but their rolls were falling apart, it just tells me that they didn’t roll it tightly enough. And you can’t say they were busy either because there were four tables including us. The service was bad, when waiter asked if everything was fine, before I can get a word out about needing more watering he left. The second time I came here, thought i would give it another try, it was with my friends, probably two months ago, why I’m writing this now, I don’t know. Food was alright this time, yet again, the service was bad, we wanted to get some other food from the menu, but the waitress was busy talking to another employee to notice us. She then only noticed us when her friend she was talking to pointed out to us. When she came by, she asked if we needed anything else, we decided to just get the check, pay and go home.

Love the guys at the sushi bar always greet you with a smile and always have funny jokes to tell, and of course the food is great.

Hidden little treasure! My favorite place for Sushi date night! The sushi chefs (itamae) are awesome here and very entertaining! The fish is always fresh and sushi made to perfection!

The food was great and the service was even better with everyone in the restaurant getting drunk and happy.

This place is great! They have great customer service, food is always fresh and the beer is ice cold. The prices are reasonable and the environment is clean. Couldn’t ask for more from a quick local teppan steak house and sushi bar!

The best and freshest sushi around. Good service and they treat you like family. Great atmosphere. Teppan grill is delicious!

I LOOOVE this place! I love coming here for lunch!
Their baked longostino roll is soo good! The sauce has a little sweetness to it.
Their scallops, shrimp, beef, chicken and veggies from the teppan grill are alll soo tender and full of flavor! Instead od the white rice, we get the Fried Rice!
The yellowtail collar is also perfectly baked! Not dry at all and perfect with the sauce that comes with it.
I love eating their sushis here! Sooo soft and yummyyy omg! So much flavor!
The workers here are very nice and accommadating! And the bartenders are very friendly! You even get oranges at the end of your meal! MMM
I cant wait to come back for lunch again!

Stay away from the raw things! Instant diarrhea @_@ Haven’t experienced that in SO.LONG. I ordered the lunch special with the sashimi, sushi and spicy tuna roll. The pieces of fish were HUGE but tasted fishy =T My cousin also found fish bones in her salmon sashimi =T
Also, why does their teriyaki chicken taste like lemon pepper chicken?
Other than that, maybe their teppanyaki is okay… Lots of regulars going in it seems.

Been getting my sushi fill from this restaurant since 2006. Always been treated good by the sushi chefs, who are all skilled. The restaurant is split up into different areas. There’s a teppan area where chefs cook your meal in front of you like at a Benihana’s. There’s also seated dining area and a sushi bar. If you sit at the sushi bar, you get some free edamame and an orange for dessert. Not sure whether they also do that for the other sections.
On Friday and Saturday evenings it can get a little louder than average at the bar, usually from the chefs leading a round of sake bombs. There’s TVs in the bar area that always have sports running.
If you don’t know what to order, I recommend the daily special, which is three hand rolls (crunch, California, and spicy tuna) with a soup or salad. Also good picks are the Mexican Roll and Rainbow Roll. The Las Vegas roll is a good option if you’re into deep fried rolls. The chefs are very accommodating and, if you don’t know what to order, can help guide you to something or make something on the fly based on your fish or taste preferences.
The teppan and sit down areas share the same menu, which is so-​so. There’s other places I’d probably go to if I was in the mood for a teppan steakhouse or more authentic Japanese dishes, but for sushi this is my go-​to spot if i’m anywhere nearby.

This is a great restaurant with even better atmosphere! The staff is friendly and the sushi is excellent. Its a party place too. They have have specials but a late night happy hour would improve the place, immensely. I’m here a few times a month. I love this place. it’s my go to local sushi bar. Thanks Wabi Sabi! First off I want to start by saying Friday 4÷3÷15 was probably my 15^th time going here in the year I’ve lived around the corner and last night was by far the worse food and customer service I’ve had in my lifetime! We called and were told there was no waiting on a Friday night so we went there and for the first time didn’t sit at the table top but in a booth.
The server CHRISTY was absolutely horrible! She barely understood any english and was VERY rude. My friend and i being that we have been here numerous times were very easy as we ordered our drinks, appetizer and entrée all at once. Our drinks showed up (large cold sake and Kirin Light) the sake was room temperature not COLD. Then our soups and salad came which were good as usual. We sat there waiting for out crunch roll which when we looked at the sushi bar all of the sushi chefs were watching TV rather then making our appetizer. So guess what our ENTREES showed up before our appetizer. We told our waitress and the then FINALLY checked on our apps and brought it out.
Our Entrees, We ordered the Mikado (Lobster and filet minjon) the lobster was overcooked and under seasoned. Also ordered a Ninja (Filet Minjon, Chicken and Jumbo Shrimp) The chicken was so over cooked it was rubbery so i sat there at least 5 minutes before CHRISTY even thought about checking on us. When she did I asked her where my Spicy suracha was that i asked to come with my meal. She tried to make excuses which were not acceptable being she wasn’t busy at all! We sent back my Ninja and the whole time my friend was eating while I waited for my new plate to come back.
The Manager came and had a discussion with CHRISTY in a completely different language table side. NEVER have i EVER had anyone be so rude as to be speaking another language table side where Me nor my guest could vouch for what she was saying. My guest said «i can’t understand what you’re saying» I said «you realize thats rude right?» only to be ignored as they continued there foreign conversation. At this point i was completely offended and ready to leave.
Finally my meal shows up after my guest is completely done with his meal. I told them they could box it up because I was no longer hungry…
This is the best part. The bill came and the only thing they took off was the appetizer which we ate because I was starving and had no food. BUT my 35.00 NINJA that I didn’t even eat was on the bill. I complained saying «I’m not paying for food I didn’t eater get to enjoy with my guest. Thats why i came out to enjoy my meal with my friend not eat alone». The manager picked up my ninja packed to go and went over to his POS system and compd the meal AND also took my meal. SO guess who ended up at weinerschnitzel acrodd the street. WE did.
THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLE AND I WLL NEVER BE GOING BACK EVER AGAIN! I’VE NEVER HAD WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE IN MY LIFE. THE MANAGERS (BOTH OF THEM ARE HORRIBLE) AND THE SERVER CHRISTY AVOID HER LIKE THE PLAGUE AS SHE IS THE WORSE SERVER I’VE EVER ENCOUNTERED IN MY WHOLE TIME DINING. YOU WOULD THINK AN UPSCALE RESTAURANT WOULD KNOW HOW TO TREAT THERE CUSTOMERS AND HOW TO HIRE THERE STAFF.
SAVE YOURSELF THE DISAPPOINTMENT AND GO TO CHINO HILLS OR RANCHO CUCAMONGA WHERE SERVICE AND FOOD QUALITY MATTERS.
THESE GUYS ARE A JOKE FOR A TEPPAN GRILL. Great way to ruin a local good eat and I see by the way you handled the situation that us returning wasn’t important to you! We gladly WONT!

First time visiting. Tried a couple new things here and enjoyed it. Food is great. I would recommend to a friend.

First Timer Came with my hubby for Valentine’s Dinner I LOVED it the chefs at the Sushi Bar were very interactive, funny, and the rolls were so delicious! Try ordering a Sake Bomb you’ll have want another and another… Definatly coming back!

Lately ive been on a crazy Udon craving rage for the past week or so
I Unilocaled Japanese restaurants that serve Udon soup and this was the closest to me
I SHOULD have made a drive to another place with MUCH BETTER reviews but i figured «how would they mess up on something as simple as Udon soup?»
But they DID eff it up!
Placed a phone order for pick up for tofu Udon and what i got was PURE DISSAPOINTMENT
What i got was MISO soup with Udon noodles!
WHAT. THE. F***…
They need to CORRECTLY advertise what they are serving as «Miso Udon»
They should also do their research as to what Udon even looks or tastes like
VERY upset about this. Wont be coming back
Who knows as to what else they would mess up on if i were to dine-​in.

Came in for sushi and my orders took to long to make… Would not come back here ever again
