Express 2 vegas

I got a message from espress2vegas about my online review on facebook. He wanted me to take it down. So I am posting the review here again. Original link :

I had a very bad experience with express2vegas. I had booked the tickets from las vegas to ontario on 8÷9÷14. I was waiting for the bus service scheduled to depart 4:45 pm from rumors hotel in las vegas. I arrived at the hotel at 4:15pm and kept waiting for the bus untill 5:15pm going in and out of the hotel lobby in the las vegas august sun. After a while I became restless and called up the service, no-​one picked up the phone. I kept waiting for the bus thinking that it might be late. (I came to vegas from ontario on the same bus service a day ago i.e. on august 8^th. This august 8^th bus was 2 hours and 30 mins late (reached at 5:30 instead of scheduled 3:00pm)).
I asked the staff at Rumours hotel if they know anything about the bus. They told that this was a new stop that the bus service has started and they are not affiliated with this and do not know anything about it. I then called up radisson hotel in ontario if they know the whereabouts of the bus. They told that he could not answer anything about the bus service as it is no way related to the radisson hotel in ontario.
I was unsure whether the bus was late or it was cancelled as I did not get any call. All the calls to the number given on the website were directed to voicemail.
Later at around 6:15 pm someone answered the phone. (I was repeatedly calling the express2vegas phone number). He said that he would call me back in 10 mins after inquiring about what happened. He did call me back after 15 mins (from a PRIVATE number) where he told that he is not able to get hold of the driver and he would call me again in 10 more minutes. He again called me saying that the driver came in a black van, parked next on the left side, used the restroom at rumours hotel and left. He did not try and call me. They sent a van as there were only 3 people travelling and that the only thing he could do is to book me the bus tomorrow. I told him that I had plans in LA the next day and I did not want to stay in Vegas. The phone was then disconnected and there was no correspondence since. I tried calling multiple times but none of them were answered. We were left stranded in Vegas. Luckily there was another bus service to Los Angles that night and we could go back that night.
I would «NEVER Recommend» this bus service to anyone.

Like many others on here, I purchased a voucher from Groupon. I love Groupon. Perhaps they didn’t perform their due diligence this time. I’m an IT guy, so I first attempted to make a reservation online. No can do. When one clicks «next», this pop up appears:
Please correct: This account has been suspended. Booking cannot be completed at this time.
So, I resorted to the phone. My first call was answered, but no one spoke. Just some heavy breathing and sniffing. As soon as I said «hello?» they hung up. Since then I have called back many, many (did I say many) times… and no matter what time I call (I’ve tried from 8 am until 7:46 pm) I get the same voicemail message saying that they are either away from their desk or on another call. Judging by their availability (on their website), they’re not getting any calls… so why aren’t they there to answer mine???

If you guys do not want to be scammed, please DO NOT use this bus service. I had the worst travel experience with this company by far.
My boyfriend and I bought the vegas bus tickets through Groupon and we were pleased with how affordable they were. Little did we know that the company was ran by a bunch of incompetent monkeys. First of all, the pick up location was at a random area next to a hotel that they are not associated with. There were no signs telling us where to wait, we had to ask the hotel staff where the bus usually stops. We had checked the address multiple times just to make sure we were in the right place. Second of all, the bus NEVER CAME to pick us up. We called their customer service immediately and NO ONE picked up. Even their answering machine was not recording voicemails! We waited like idiots for about 45 minutes until we decided to just drive to Vegas ourselves.
Hours later we received a call back and the representative said that they changed the pick up location. They said they had left a voicemail on the phone number that we provided at eight pm the last night. We DID NOT receive any sort of voicemail. WOW way to give notice way in advance. Maybe if they made a little effort and at least email us as well, that would have been nice. In the end, we did get a refund so this is the only reason that I would give them any stars.
Bottomline, just save yourselves the hassle and don’t use this service. There are other bus companies that do deserve the customers. This one definitely does not unless they can clean up their act.

Recently booked a Vegas trip and no issues. Maybe got lucky but definitely will use them again next time. Good comfortable, clean buses.

Absolutely awful!
We were scheduled to be picked up at the Hollywood location, however, the bus never showed up. All the passengers waiting, including myself, had called, emailed and tried to contact the company in every which way. After a few hours, we gave up. Long story short, we ended up driving ourselves to Vegas. I finally received a call back from someone around 3pm (our scheduled pick up was at 9:45am).
The company claimed to have sent an email the night before about a time and location change, but no one received this alleged email (all prior emails had come through without issue). I demanded a refund, which they were not too happy about, but said they would send the request through Groupon (which is where I purchased the tickets). After a week of not hearing anything back, I contacted them (again, after many many tries), and they said they sent the request. After a lot of back and forth, three and a half weeks later, and still nothing, I contacted Groupon. Turns out, the company never sent in the request. Groupon, on the other hand, was fantastic with their customer service!
The way they run their «business» is completely unacceptable and unprofessional. Stay away from this company!

I would give this company worse than NO stars, if possible. They wasted hours of my time just trying to book the trip, and stranded my 78 year old mother, almost causing her to miss an important appt. with a specialist.
I wish I had clicked on the post a review link in their confirmation email before I bought tickets, most of the reviews read just like mine and many on Unilocal.Sadly, my experience was not unusual.
I got our voucher from Amazon Local and it took two weeks of daily phone calls (I have made dozens of calls to this company and never got a human being, only voice mail) and a complaint to Amazon Local to get a call back.
I bought a ticket for my elderly mother to go to Vegas for an appt. with a medical specialist We arrived at the pickup point listed in the «confirmation» email, Raddisson Ontario Airport. We waited an hour past the designated pickup time, calling the office repeatedly, though no one answered or returned the calls. I checked with the desk personnel at the hotel and was told they have repeatedly stranded passengers by just not showing up.
I was able to get my mom on a greyhound at a much higher last minute ticket price, so she made her appointment.
I arrived home to an email sent 3 hours AFTER the bus was supposed to be there, letting me know the trip was cancelled. So I guess the «confirmation» email was more a «if we feel like going» email.
If you actually need to be able to count on getting to Vegas, this is NOT the company for you.
I have filed complaints with the CA Department of Transportation, the NV Department of Transportation, the Federal Department of Transportation and the Better Business Bureau on this company.
I hope no one has to go through what we did (panic that my mom my might not make her appt.). NO ONE should use this company.

Only thing redeemable about this company was the on board bus crew.
I bought a Groupon for this company for a trip to Vegas. I was told that the parking was $ 7/​day at the drop off location. The reality was that it was $ 35/​day! This was not budgeted into my trip. After expressing concerns I was told via e-​mail that they would be reimbursing me for part of the parking. This has yet to happen after I was told they received the receipts. It has been Since July and still nothing. They no longer reply to my emails.
The bus itself was over 2 hours late picking us up. it broke down on the way there. The ride back it was late again, and broke down again (same bus, obviously was never fixed). It was even worse on the way back as the electrical system wasn’t working so no AC, no internet, no movie. We were literally riding back in an oven. They finally switched us to another bus for the last hour. We finally arrived back home close to 11:30PM!
I cannot get them to respond to me. I am currently now filing a small claims suit against them for corporate deception, corporate neglect, using unsafe and unmaintained vehicles, as well as my reimbursement.

Well… i just noticed that I’m not the first to write about the same experience: The Express2vegas bus didn’t come to pick us (me & my girlfriend) up.
NEVER AGAIN!

My boyfriend and I had a HORRIBLE experience with this buisness!
We got our tickets from Groupon and they told us we could redeem these tickets until the end of the year. My boyfriend reached out to the company, the first call was ok, everything went well.
They told us that there weren’t enough people booking their service the weekend that we wanted to go, so they were going to send us an SUV to take us to Vegas that fit 5 people (already sketchy since it was suppose to be a bus) they confirmed our seats over the phone and stated that we would be receiving a confirmation email. This was Thursday Sep 25^th. They never sent us information about the time, the location we were getting picked up, the location in Vegas to come back sunday, NOTHING!
On Friday Sep 26^th we didn’t receive and email. My boyfriend and I waited to see if we heard from them that following Monday., trying not to panic about this being a complete scam! Monday came around and no email. I reached out and called them, no answer. I called them 7x. I had to leave a voicemail Every time to get a response call. Finally when they called me back they basically told me that no email was send because the confirmation email was DECLINED due to no space on their bus. They were all booked for that weekend (all of a sudden). They gave us this information AFTER we booked our room, requested the days and arranged our schedules since they told us it was already confirmed briefly over the phone. They never communicated to us that anything changed. If I hadn’t called we would have been waiting around just like these other people and their bad experiences on Unilocal.
My boyfriend sent them an email, about the experience, they wouldn’t call him back, But they were going back and forth with these unprofessional written emails. They were asking for credit card information when we had already told them we bought their tickets on Groupon, they were asking questions about our address and all these unnecessary questions because they «could not couldn’t find our reservations now».
We spoke to Groupon about this shitty company, and are now trying to get our money back through them. I Don’t want to deal with this company anymore!
THESE PEOPLE ARE A SCAM!!! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM. THIS IS A REAL REVIEW. BE AWARE.

I wish there was an option for no stars! BEWARE!!! The bus NEVER CAME to the West Hollywood stop! In early September I got a groupon, made a reservation, and got my confirmation numbers. I stood there at the stop with 2 other passengers with reservations and 2 people seeing them off (5 of us looking for the bus since 40 minutes before pick up time) for almost 2 hours waiting! I called the company 3x with messages including my contact number (many more without leaving a message) and the other passengers called as well. They never answered any of our calls and NEVER CALLED ME BACK!!!
Eventually another passenger and myself carpooled and drove to be able to get to Vegas on time. I’ve since emailed the company with no response! I don’t know if it’s a scam for your money or not, but don’t risk your plans falling through with this flakey and unprofessional company! It is NOT ok to just leave you stranded and not show or communicate at all!!!

Wow! Glad I read these reviews. I was about to buy 4 round trip Tix off of Amazon local for transport from Ontario.

Well i am here at the LA stop and it is 10:41 am on 8−29−14 i try calling them 20+times and no answer the guy answer the phone and told me he will call back. Never got a call back. This idiots do not know how to run a business. I will take them to court for my loses i will rent a car and drive there and be assure they will heard from us. Do not used this people they just call my wife from a block number and said they will cancel. Do not used them and get refund. My sister was taking the bus from ontario and she said they are on their way. Because there are only 10 people here they decide to cancel on us.

Had a very, very, very bad experience, the bus was late 45 minutes from picking us up in Los angles. Ok I get it traffic, not an issue, we departed Los Angeles around 10:20AM. Half way between our second stop, Ontario, the AC went out and it was really hot and stuffy and had to wait an hour to fix the AC. After «fixing the AC» we took off to vegas with what it appeared to be the AC only working half the time on the way to vegas. Half the bus was yelling out to turn the AC on! We didn’t arrive to Las Vegas until 7:30PM!!!There was minor traffic on the way to vegas but not enough to make a 4 hour trip from Ontario a 7 hour trip. It was the bus ride from hell! My group and I ended up renting a car to drive our selfs back to Los Angeles.
Will not recommend this company to anyone based on my experience.

The people who interact with the customers on the bus are wonderful, which makes me want to give them a higher rating, but the company falls short on several areas, but most of them can be fixed.
The good:
Clean, nice, air-​conditioned bus
Friendly staff
Pick up in Ontario with free parking
The bad:
E-​mail and phone calls with simple questions (where to park?) ignored
Picked up an hour late coming and going, which, of course, also means arriving late each way
The trip purchased was «Round-​trip with meals» — they don’t serve meals. I did get a pack of vanilla cookies though.
Free wi-​fi never really worked — mostly simply doesn’t work at at
One additional recommendation: For the Vegas side, add a drop-​off anywhere along The Strip or Monorail stop (Westgate or the transit center near SLS). Dropping passengers off Hard Rock without a car necessitates a cab ride or a mile+ walk in the head to the next nearest casino. This would add very little to the drive time, but a lot of convenience for your customers.

So this bus was scheduled to pick us up to take us to Vegas at 1030 am. Just prior to 1030, I received a phone call that the bus was running behind schedule and would be 50 minutes late. 90 minutes later, no bus, no call. My girlfriend called them up and asked for an update on when the bus would arrive. They said they would find out and call us right back. 15 minutes go by and they don’t call. Frustrated, I called them back and they advised me that the bus was going to be an additional 50 minutes late from that time. You kidding me??? Nearly 3 hours later than the time they were supposed to pick us up?! I cancelled my reservation, had Amazon Local refund my money and we ended up just driving to Vegas with another couple we met while waiting around for the «Express 2 Vegas» bus that also cancelled their reservations and got a refund.
Now, I understand that traffic in LA can brutal. I get it. I have a 1.5 hour commute to work every day. Somehow I manage to get to work on time EVERY day. I achieve this by taking into consideration how long it will take me to get to work in the worst possible LA traffic. For a company whose only job is to get people from LA to Vegas, I find it insane that they have yet to figure this concept out. I mean this bus stops in LA for it’s first pickup and then stops in Ontario to pick up the 2^nd group. They were over an hour late to just make their 1^st pickup. Had they picked up the first group on time and then encountered some unforeseen traffic on their way to Ontario, then certainly no blame could be laid, but this wasn’t the case. They couldn’t even get to the 1^st pickup location on time. Seriously, you’re better off walking to Vegas. Never again.

Took Express 2 Vegas on a weekend trip, and it was a terrible experience. I wanted to like this service as it would be a great alternative to MegaBus.
Look, unforeseen stuff happens, and I totally get that. Where a company truly shines or fails is how they handle these unexpected situations.
On our trip out to Vegas from Ontario, the bus was over an hour late. I guess there was an accident on the freeway on the bus’s way from Los Angeles to Ontario. There was good communication there, the company called my friend who made the reservation, and kept us in the loop.
When the bus finally arrived, everything was fine. Josh, the service attendant, served us drinks periodically throughout the trip. They showed a couple of movies on the screens. It was overall a fairly good ride out. The seats were comfortable and they’re leather. They also recline, which was nice.
With traffic, a stop in Barstow, plus the bus arriving late to begin with, we didn’t get into Vegas until around 5.
Things went really bad on the way back though. The bus was supposed to leave at 4:15pm — 4:30pm. When we got there, there was no bus. We called the company to get a status update, to see if the bus would be on time, but there was no one at the office. We all sat around waiting, wondering where the bus was.
When someone finally did call us back, we were told the bus was just about to pull in and would be there in 10 – 15 minutes. The bus didn’t show up until an hour after that. It was 5:45pm at this point.
As it turns out, the bus had arrived in Vegas way ahead of schedule, but with a broken down air conditioner. They tried to fix it but couldn’t.
The driver informed us that they’re getting another bus, and that she was told it would be 15 – 20 minutes for the replacement bus to arrive. Then another 15 minutes. Then we’re told, another 15 minutes.
The replacement bus arrived well after 7pm, and we quickly boarded.
Since the replacement bus is not the company’s own bus, there were no refreshments on board. We certainly understood this, and at this point we’re just happy to be on a bus to get out of there.
The lack of communication and keeping us in the dark, telling us «it’ll be there in 15 minutes» fully knowing that wasn’t going to happen.
Like I said, things break, I get it. Planes break. Trains break. We expect things get delayed.
But all of this can be better communicated.
1. A Twitter or a «bus status» page can be easily set up to keep everyone informed. Have the service attendant send out a tweet on the company’s page if they encounter delays. This will keep people a lot happier.
2. If a bus is going to be delayed like this, set up a new boarding time. We were sitting at the Hard Rock Casino from 4 until 7 waiting. We could have gone and gotten a nice meal. Maybe gambled a bit. You know, make the most of the time we had. But we weren’t sure when the bus was coming, and so we all sat around the lobby waiting.
3. Stop telling us things will happen in 15 minutes. I get that telling customers 15 minutes is a much easier way of delivering bad news compared to telling customers 2 hours. But come on.
Unfortunately the handling of this incident will not get us to ride this bus service again.

I had an absolutely terrible experience. The bus was late, and I received no courtesy call. The bus was supposed to leave at 3:30, and I arrived at 2:25 and didn’t see it so I called to make sure I was at the right location. Brian informed me the bus would be about 15 minutes late, and it only goes downhill from there.
20 minutes and still no bus, I called again and was told the bus was refilling and would actually be 45 more minutes. Brian promptly offered me a refund and free trip, which I thought was great. Shortly after that the Hyatt told me that they do not work with this business, and we all needed to wait outside in the 105 degree vegas heat. Nearing 5, I called again to check on the status of the bus and I was told that the bus would be 45 minutes, again.
I complained about being kicked out of the hotel lobby, and we were then told to wait across the street at the hard rock. Great! Except for when I called again in 45 minutes, I was told the bus would be… 45 minutes. Nearing the 4 hour wait mark, I called again to see where the bus would be, and was told it was in the parking lot and this is where things got nasty.
I informed Brian that I was in fact waiting in the parking lot and the bus was not there. He rudely told me it was, and threatened to cancel my reservation and leave me to find my way home, AND HUNG UP ON ME. By this point, I am livid. I get on the bus and tell the service attendant what happened and she apologizes and reassures me that I will not be kicked off the bus. Brian then calls me back to sweetly inform me that the bus has arrived. I demanded to speak to a manager about him hanging up on me, and he refused to give the managers information.
The bus ride was ok. Maddison was very sweet and patient with a bus full of angry riders, but the bus ran out of refreshments and it wasn’t even half full with people. I did get a refund, but that doesn’t make up for the day of work missed, the rude customer service staff, or the 4 hour wait in the dry Vegas heat. ABSOLUTELY DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Over a month later, and I still have not received my refund. Good thing I didn’t accept their offer for free ride and hotel fare to Vegas. Who knows where I’d be… BUYER BEWARE!!!

EXTREMELY SATISFIED WITH THEIR RED CARPET SERVICE
I am the parent of a 16 year-​old and wanted to find both a safe and economical transportation for my son to travel to Las Vegas.
I happen to stumble across a Groupon Deal for a roundtrip bus ride to Las Vegas for a very affordable $ 35! Before purchasing this deal I called their Office to make sure I would be able to send him alone due to him being a minor. Being that I always cross my T’s and dot my I’s, I had several questions pertaining to commute times, arrival times, safety and so forth. Sean and Brian were beyond informative. (I called several times :-) Once I purchased the Groupon and made the reservation, they immediately sent over the reservation confirmation.
The day of travel, the driver was on time to commence the trip. He called me to let me know they were there ready for pick up. They had complimentary snacks and beverages on board. A total PLUS for my teenager with an endless appetite :-) The ride was smooth and on-​time to his destination.
Upon arrival, Anthony, the driver called me to confirm he had dropped off my son. No words can express what this kind of above and beyond service does for a parent that sends their child alone on a trip for the first time.
The pick up in Vegas was also on time. Both my son and I received a courtesy call from the driver once again to let us know he was minutes away from the pick up point.
EXCELLENT!!!
Thank you LAS VEGAS EXPRESS for making this experience not only comfortable for my son, but for the peace of mind you provided both my son’s father and I.
OVERALL — LAS VEGAS EXPRESS will exceed and excel your satisfaction.

I got a round ticket on living social. It was fantastic. I absolutely loved their attention and kindness of EVERYONE. Brian on the phone was super nice and Anthony who drove me there and he was the sweetest !!
