We won’t be coming back! It doesn’t matter how good the food can be if the service is horrible– it ruins the experience!
My husband and had dined here before years back, and it was good, but this time around we received terrible service from our waitress Stephanie.
Here’s the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly:
The GOOD: We ordered an appetizer and entrees and when we finally received our orders, all three items were tasty.
The BAD: I placed my order for an appetizer immediately when we first sat down and were asked what we wanted to drink, as we knew what we wanted and were hungry. Not only did it take a long time to come back and take our main entrée but we had to reorder or our appetizer again as it was apparent she had forgotten it.
My pasta main entrée was forgotten as well and I sat uncomfortably waiting while my hungry husband started first, the whole time thinking my dinner was coming out any moment… NOT! It wasn’t until we finally flagged her down that we knew she had forgotten — by then my husband had already finished eating. So much for a nice dinner together after skiing…
The UGLY: When my husband asked where my pasta dinner was, her response was «I didn’t hear anything about pasta». REALLY??? A couple who indicates they’re hungry in the beginning but the wife doesn’t order any main entrée? Hmmm something wrong here?! Basically she FORGOT again but instead of apologizing she put the blame on the guest.
Too long of wait for us and based on other reviewers we’re not the first. Can you hear me now?

We had breakfast and lunch at the bar café area.
The breakfast buffet offers the essentials, fresh and warm. The scrambled eggs are free range. The fruit plate is fresh. They make their own whole wheat sourdough. I love it.
The lunch service was great. The bison chili topped with hickory radish was hardy, fresh, but not overly seasoned. The spinach salad was delicious. The poached egg was a great touch. The dressing was tasty, but not overwhelming. Another table ordered burgers. They smelled heavenly!
We had dinner at the formal restaurant. The service was superb. The food was well prepared and presented. It’s definitely not just a ski resort type of dining. We felt we were dining back home in SF.

Host: «Ah, that’s a pork loin wrapped in pork belly»
Diner: «Wow, you had me at pork belly!»

This place would be a five-​star restaurant anywhere, it’s classy, warmly lit, the service is wonderful, and of course the porchetta was amazing.
My wife ordered a salad for dinner, and a (delicious!) tuna poke appetizers to share. Then, we asked the host /​sommelier to recommend a red wine between these three! –he found a Sicilian wine that worked pretty darn well.
Having this place be just a short stroll away from where we were staying at the Village was amazing. It’s a storybook setting.

I just wrote a review for the hotel (also 5 stars), so this will be a quick one for the bar.
Fantastic service.
Good beer selection at decent prices.
Good cocktails.
Amazing burger. Add gruyère. Hmmmm…
Stop in for HH, and enjoy yourself :-)

Easy restaurant to get in and out of when at the hotel, snacks, meals and overall supplies
Service was very friendly
Restaurant is super clean and food is prepared well
I had the Sonoma Chicken Salad sandwich which was very good
Wife had a salad and it was fresh and dressing Apple liberally
