Just moved to Olympia, WA from California and have been trying since June to get into see a Dr. At this facility. Got in touch with some one(Brandy) who has been trying to help, but I’ve heard every excuse: Excuse: 1.) Your payment schedule doesn’t reflect our payment schedule! Resolve: (So I call insurance and I tell them how I have to fly to California once a month and pay for taxi to dr. Taxi to rx and taxi back to airport just to get what I need, so insurance approves payment on there terms) Excuse: 2.) Now we need to review my medical history! Resolve: (They didn’t have time to do this back in July2015 when it was sent to them, and so I called back explaining my situation, told them what I was going through and how they are only dr that deals with Medtronics unit in my area, next option is to go 200 miles away…) 3.) Brandy calls me today to tell me how dr. Won’t review my chart, dr. Won’t take on case, and to go find a provider in my area! Resolve: (I’m now convinced that I’m better off without people like that and Dr. Who don’t care or at least act like they do until payment doesn’t show or isn’t on there schedule. Beware for those thinking of using or already using Olympic orthopedic. Why do dr.‘s get to play God and be selective in the first place? If your going to be selective but can’t tell a patient why you can’t take them on makes it harder then not telling them? Is there something wrong with me? You don’t have the ability to help or fix me or make me better? Be honest with patient and don’t be a smuts…

I was very impressed in how they would handle me as a «surprise» patient. Well this office is one among a few, as it is a network of offices in the region. The«central» scheduling office had screwed up my appointment and in stead of me going on a Wednesday to the, placed me on a Tuesday, making me a «no-show» upon my arrival on Wednesday. The reception didn’t really bother, had me quickly put in to their schedule and after like 5 minutes of wait I was in and getting my x-rays done. All in all it turned out to be a very fast visit, which I liked a lot, because nothing is more nerve-wracking than waiting your behind off at a doctor. The doc was cool and so was the staff, very friendly and so. What I liked on the doc was, he would really go in to all sorts of details, explaining me from where likely my pain in my shoulder would come from, this on a cutaway picture of a «humans» shoulder. So said and done, we are going now for a MRI and will see what’s bugging my shoulder. I like them a lot, had in their main office already my apt because of another condition and can say, I feel very well taken care of.
