I desperately wanted to like these guys, in part because it’s so hard to find a great handyman and they were very nice. But I struggled… I felt a bit like the left hand and right hand had no idea what the other was doing!
I let them know that I lived out-​of-​state and would have to make arrangements by email, Skype and phone and they said that wouldn’t be a problem. But after arranging with them and our renters a specific time and date– they were a no-​show. I heard back from the administrator later that morning saying that she had forgotten to call me and let me know that they would need to switch the appointment time to a few hours later. When we tried to coordinate their visit for a few hours later that day, they couldn’t make it work again, instead making an appointment for 9 days later. My renters were not impressed with blocking out their Saturday for no reason. I was not impressed with the delay. But I was willing to give it another shot.
After some trouble with communication– they kept calling my husband’s phone even though I kept giving them my direct number!- we managed to sort it out. When they did show up, they finished the job quickly and were friendly, if not talkative. I’ve only seen pictures but my renters seem happy enough with the finished product.
But then I requested an invoice. The administrator seemed totally baffled by the request because they had sent me a bill. I explained that I would also like a detailed invoice, outlining what costs were labor and which were materials. After several requests– and several emails containing the same link to the same bill– I rang the owner. When I explained what I needed, using the analogy that «a restaurant doesn’t just bring you a bill with a total dollar amount at the end of your meal, they show you each item and its cost», he said it would be no problem to send an actual invoice. The administrator sent me another copy of the bill.
I gave up. I have no idea why they aren’t able to provide me with a detailed invoice for the work they completed at my house, but after all of this back and forth I’m just going to cut and run. It’s disappointing, but because they’re unwilling or unable to account for their costs, we won’t be using them again.
UPDATE: I just received a very nice call from the administrator, who filled me in on their updated procedures for customers and sincerely apologized for my experience. I appreciate the personal touch!

Tony is great! Very polite, reasonable quote and careful in his work. I immediately felt at ease with him and the other gentleman that came to assist. I will be calling when I need more work done. Also a big thanks to Teresa, I appreciate you getting everything scheduled and following up.

I needed to find a handyman at the last minute to patch up our walls filled with big and ugly screw holes prior to turning our house over to the new owners in a week. Tony came through in a big way for us. He was very polite and cordial over the phone, came to our house at the exact time he said he would, gave us a very reasonable quote, and proceeded to do a fabulous job. Indeed no job too small! Thank you Tony!

These guys were great they were on time very professional got the job done right on time and even did a little extra for just a bit more than their original quote.
They call before they arrive take their shoes off in your house and generally made a great impression on myself and my wife we will be using them again very soon for our patio area in the back give them a call you will not be disappointed

Jack was great. He’s very personable and gets the job done. I highly recommend him for anything. He worked 4 hours for hanging pictures. He does a lot more than that. He will now be fixing my daughters door frame that has been busted in. Great person. He can do it all. Thank you.

Tony is amazing. He and his business deserve 6 stars!
He can do anything around a house and yard, do it well, and do it efficiently.
This is about the 5^th time he has worked for me.
In one day he unplugged a gross bathtub drain, calked the leaking basement utility sink, and shopped for and affixed hooks on bathroom door. That’s right. No job is too small! Now all those pesky jobs are done and the price was right.
I have seen Tony’s carpentry and painting work at a friend’s house and will definitely employ him if/​when those needs arise.
You don’t have to call a bunch of different men for all your household needs. Just call Jack Jack of Trades. He’s the man!

We love Tony! He’s been doing odd jobs for us for a decade, and no job has been too hard or too dirty for him; he’s always happy to do it, he always works six times as hard as anyone we know. I heartily recommend him for all of your handyperson needs. What a great guy!

From the moment Tony (Jack Jack) showed up, he put us at ease with his willingness to take on a wide variety of projects, all with up front quotes, and honest suggestions about how to proceed within our budget.
Tony arrived with a co-​worker, Colton, who was just as friendly and knowledgable. Between the two of them, we really got the feeling that they could take on any job from plumbing and bathroom remodeling to flooring and landscaping.
We ended up getting help with our back yard (weeds, mowing, edging, pruning, general clean up), and having a good amount of flooring and some trim pieces installed. Throughout the whole process Tony and Colton were great communicators — funny, friendly guys that told us along the way what they were working on and what they had left to finish.
They worked at our house for three days and did excellent work. They seemed to really care about a job well done and took pride in exceeding expectations.
We’ll definitely be calling again for the next job we have. They were honest, reliable, and did great work. Can’t ask for more than that!

Jack Jack of Trades has done many things for our household over the years: snaked pipes, landscaping, painting, pouring cement, sink install, faucet install, leaks, tree pruning, bicycle tune up, hole digging, building sets, fencing. You name it.
Gotta say, Tony Jackson does a great job. It’s like calling up a friend.
