Had my septic pumped and hung out with Chris today. Got to BS and joke around for a little over an hour while he pumped the tank. Chris was very professional, knowledgeable, and hard working. Considering the task at hand, it was an overall great experience.

I’ve experienced everything with septic systems, from simple pumping to complete sewer conversions, and everything in between. Chris showed up after hours, handled my issue and did it at an unbelievably reasonable price. He’s friendly, willing to provide information, and he helped us find the right solution for our system and our situation. It’s not often that businesses truly exceed expectations. Howdy Doody (great name!) did. I’d recommend them to anyone.

We were shocked at the prices we were getting quoted for having our septic pumped and inspected during the sale of our home. When I called Howdys Doody, they were very informative; and told us how simple a time of transfer document for Thurston County really was. They came right out, got straight to work, and didn’t leave any of their crap (or ours) behind. Loved their sense of humor and friendly attitudes. They even made a small repair for us, at no extra cost. Look no further, this is the company you want. Support our local businesses.

This review is actually coming from a company that would probably be considered a «competitor» to Howdy’s, but they deserve it. Today, we had a pump job that had to get done today, we were running very late on time and probably not going to make it. I called Chris to see if they could do it for us, he couldn’t do the actual pumping due to prior appointments, but instead was able to show up with Josh and help my husband do the hand digging, which saved him about three hours. A company that will come help out another company with a few hours notice and probably put himself behind schedule to do so, gets five stars from me. Thank you again!

I called at 7:30 in the evening with an overflowing macerator at a rental property and Chris responded to my message within minutes, made it out to the property and had the problem solved before 9am! Chris made it all so easy. Grateful for fast, capable service!

I noticed that my septic pump had not been working around 8:00pm and had a friend recommended Howdys Doody Septic Service. I called the next morning talked to Chris and he briefly went over what it could be, Chris then said «I start at the simple and work my way up I try to be as frugal as possible for the customer».
With that said he had prior commitments early in the day and was able to come out in the late afternoon. He was able figure out it was a bad float plus an electrical problem, which is significantly less expensive then a pump replacement.
If you need septic work done call this company. There are absolutely great.

After having the owner Chris come and pump my tank. I would have to say compared to other companies over the years, Howdy Doody’s Service has been the most professional, caring, and REASONABLE company I have used in all my years of having my tank pumped. Also they were able to come the very same day, just hours after I called with a alarm going off.

When we needed a fix right away, Chris at Howdys Doody was recommended by Sound Septic. He came out the same day (really appreciated when you have septic issues). He found our problem was a plug and cleared it right up. Chris told me we didn’t need to have the tank pumped so we saved that money.
He was prompt, friendly, professional, and even helped me move the woodpile that the prior homeowner had piled over the valve cover. When it is time to pump the tank, I’ll call Chris again.
