Consistently delicious. Oh yeah and homemade bread and a drive thru?! Does it get better?

First and foremost Olympia needs more restaurant! I was very much looking forward to eat here after reading all the reviews, but I wasn’t impressed. I ordered a Turkey Gobbler with a cup a Split Soup. My soup was extremely salty! Service was a little slow but it was also during rush hour. I will return but I will be ordering something else.

Great service, great food, very friendly employees … only thing I wish they had were those humongous cinnamon buns.

Hands down the best sandwich I’ve ever had! This place is amazing and literally nothing can compare. First off huge sandwiches that are amazing quality fresh to death lol. The lady when I ordered was very friendly she handed me my order and said I added extra napkins cause the sandwiches are pretty messy, right then I knew it was gonna be great no one wants or needs a small clean meal in my opinion. Everything worth eating should need napkins. With that being said the ingredients are all fresh and it was a very healthy meal. So anyways I got home sat down and opened a gift from heaven this thing was a monster and was better then I would have ever imagined so good and big that I was full with the first half but couldn’t contain myself enough to stop there. The Conclusion I’ve come to is if you haven’t eaten here your missing out on life. Hope you enjoy as much as I did. I will be returning this is my new favorite place by far!

Went through drive through, got a club sandwich. The sandwich was huge, but all of the ingredients sucked. Overly salty ham. Chopped and formed turkey breast with the consistency of jello. Overcooked, super dark, dry bacon. But hey, at least I paid a one dollar upcharge to have the sandwich paired with onion rings! The rings were clearly from a frozen bag and were pretty darn greasy. I’m not sure what kind of horrible sandwiches these other reviewers grew up on to give this place such an overall high rating, but I shan’t be returning for the forseeable future.

Great spot on the Eastside for a sandwich! Love the fresh bread, egg salad, and also their creative sandwiches. My husband got a sandwich with turkey cream cheese and cranberry sauce and it was to die for! They are a cute little spot and clean environment. I love the style of ordering at the counter and then going to sit down. Yum yum!

Great sandwiches. I have tried their Hot Oly, Reuben, and French Dip. My favorite so far is the Hot Oly. Also their homemade chips are great. Definitely worth trying out.

OMG. The Reuben with their potato salad. More than just lunch. Eat mid afternoon and you won’t need dinner.

Food is good, but two stars for the awful customer service on multiple occasions. One guy(younger, always wears a baseball hat, has a tattoo above his elbow on his right arm) who works the drive through is so rude and looks so miserable I can only imagine that this must be an awful place to work and I’m thinking that it’s probably not a good place to eat if they treat their employees so poorly.

5th On 4th has been a regular stop for me since they opened in this location. Unlike some of the previous reviews I have never had anything but excellent service. It has always been very friendly, and I have always been greeted with a smile. Not sure what else to say than that. As for the food, they serve one of the best Reubens I have had, anywhere. It is so good that I rarely order anything else from the menu, which is my fault, not theirs. :-) With that said, I have also had the burgers there, and while quite good, I still prefer the sandwiches. I do like the fries, but prefer the house made potato chips. Oh yeah, the bacon maple milk shake is a delight, regardless of what you might have read in a previous review. :-)

Arguably the best sandwich joint in Oly. Good: Burgers and Sandwiches. Possibly most well known for their Reuben and ‘Hot Oly’ which are both awesome in my experience. The sides are great too. Homemade onion rings or homemade chips. Fries are good as well. Could use some improvement: It seems that their service has slipped dramatically and I am changing my review to reflect that. Oly is notorious for bad service but it is sad to see another local spot succumb. I had a milkshake for the first time after hearing good things. I ordered the maple bacon shake. The flavor was ok but the consistency was watery. The space inside is limited so lunch hours are very congested and it’s hard to get a table. Not much they can do there though. Overall an good lunch spot that will surely become one of your regular stops!

So traveling through Olympia between Seattle and Portland, my wife and I pulled off the highway to get a sandwich. Our car was parked literally against the building right by the door. The place looks like an abandoned Hardees, and is staffed with a motley array of cartoonish staff who look like ex-cons who couldn’t muster a smile and collectively traffic in odd rudeness. Here was my exchange with them: «Would you like this here or To Go?» «I’d like it for here, but I’d like to eat it in my car. My wife is stuck in the car because our newborn baby is dead asleep in her car seat» (Every single employee looks through the glass and sees my wife sitting 10 feet away in the front seat of our car) «Then you’d like it To Go» «I don’t want to waste a bunch of plastic and bags — it seems wasteful — so I’d really like the sandwiches on plates and I’ll bring them right back in» «Go wake up your baby and tell your wife to come inside» THEYTOLDMETOWAKEUPMYBABYANDTELLMYWIFETOCOMEINSIDE. Wonderful customer service. Would it have been terribly inconvenient to place a sandwich on one of their cheap plastic $ 1SYSCO plates and accommodate this real-world request? So while I have this exchange, 3 to 4 of the employees chimed in, looking at me like I’m batshit crazy, shaking their heads, and making me feel like a terrible human being. So they pack everything up with 10,000 pounds of plastic and paper and I leave. Should I talk about the food? We got a BLT on jalapeño bread. It was good. We also got a turkey and ham sandwich with pineapple slices. The turkey and boiled ham were cheap and filled with water, like generic grocery store deli meat. The french fries were common. The potato salad was common. We threw away 90% of the fries, 50% of the potato salad and half of the cheap turkey /ham sandwich. If this is the best of Olympia, Olympia is suffering from deep depression. This place is a 1. It’s one-trick-pony novelty food for fat people. If their idea of creativity is putting a slice of pineapple on a ham sandwich and installing jalapenos in a piece of bread, well, yeah, that’s incredibly ingenious and ground-breaking(in Olympia) but the whole doesn’t add up to the sum of its cheap parts. The staff here will all die childless and alone. Their prison-break aura and visage assures a sexless perpetual existence.

I’m always craving their BLT on jalapeño bread. Phenomenal sandwich with tons of thick cut peppered bacon and a mound of fries on the side, not to mention fancy sauce comes with the fries. All of this for under $ 10. YYYUUUSSSSSS

One of my favorite places in Olympia(in addition to their original location) and they come close to deserving 5 stars but cleanliness issues and strange differences in their menus(like no marbled rye) keep them a bit short of perfection. Amazing onion rings, great BLTs with thick bacon, good French Dips, fantastic desserts, and lots of other delicious and creative sandwiches combine with usually super friendly service to make up for the ambience that is missing from the other location. I have never tried the drive-thru but it seems like another nice option.

For the Olympia area, this is about as good as it gets. I have been to 5th on 4th multiple times and have sampled a variety of their products. All of them are yummy, but I must warn you that the«Hot Oly» isn’t a joke. I don’t know how many jalapeño peppers they put on that sandwich… Just be prepared to sweat a lot. My favorite is the turkey cranberry, because it reminds me of Thanksgiving, I guess. It has a great combination of ingredients and is very flavorful. Their French fries are also good, but I usually choose to substitute them with onion rings, which are easily in my top 5. The service is adequate. I have no complaints in that category. In fact, I have no complaints at all… actually, it seems like their food is slightly overpriced, but not by much. I guess that is my only criticism. 5th on 4th is a great place to have lunch and easily the best sandwiches in Thurston County.

The bacon in that BLT adds to its sandwhich perfection! Its is more on the crispy side, but in just the perfect way to bite into your sandwhich. No losing teeth or over chewing, here! They have a few cheesecake and pie options. I was brave and tried something I wouldn’t normally try — the peach pie was heaven. I had mine warmed also. Great service too! Nice shop

I have to take this down a star as 3rd time here and each time it gets slower, 40min wait for a sandwich is unacceptable
