The sushi was ok at best. My wife and I both ordered the yaki soba noodles, hers with beef and mine with chicken. The noodles were ok but the meat was disgusting. Both the beef and chicken were the fast food Chinese variety — thin and rubbery. If you are going to charge those prices then you should use better meats. Go to Osaka or Urban Fusion instead.

This restaurant is beautiful. The fish tanks and organic decorations make for a stunning sushi spot. We had lunch on the patio which is sunny in late afternoon. Our server, Adam, was excellent. He was kind and attentive. Adam even remembered our names — plus every other name at every other table. However, we go for the food and the sashimi was fishy — like reminiscent of gas station sushi. The cocktails were subpar. We tried — but this one’s off our list. Better luck to you.

This has become our favorite Japanese place in town! They have the best sushi, my favorite being crunchy eel. They have a really good deal on lunch sushi that comes with a soup and salad. They have 3 different kinds of soups which is very interesting. One thing I suggest if you like sushi, especially eel, you can ask them for a side of extra eel sauce. I was thrilled when a waitress offered it to me and now I get it every time. The atmosphere is calm and relaxing but it’s not overly casual. This is the go-to restaurant I choose when my coworkers ask to go out.

This restaurant is a replica of Japanese Urban restaurant. They got our order wrong, then I had to wait while everyone else was eating. The customer service was horrible. Our waiter was rude. We will never go back. You can find better sushi places in Olive Branch.

If you’re a fan of Asian type foods, this is the place to go in Olive Branch. I just so happened to be in the area and got a to go order. Food is fresh and hot! The people who run the place are super nice too. If I’m in the area, I will surely come make a stop again. Hopefully, I’ll actually dine in.

1st time coming here! Overall great experience! The atmosphere is really cool, really cool lights, and a few fish tanks. Initially would have been a 30 – 40 wait for a table since it’s a Friday night but they sat myself & the other 2 people at the bar right away, which we asked for! I got the orange chicken, fried rice, & egg drop soup! Everything was delicious. My sister got the shrimp tempura roll & the crunchy crab roll & she said it was amazing! The guy behind the bar who goes by «Say» even gave her a free roll to try as a special! He was really nice & great! Overall great experience, a little pricey but well worth it because the portions are great, the service is great, and it’s an overall great environment! Can’t wait to come back!

Wonderful sushi — very fresh and tasty. Service was great and the restaurant is really pretty. Their menu has so many options that I think we will come here again on our next trip to Memphis. Highly recommend!

I was taken there by a friend and the night was really nice! We were seated promptly in a cozy booth and or order was taken when we had had enough time to look the menu over. We were able to get Saki with the meal which my friend really appreciated and it was Excellent just perfect with the Sushi! We ordered a Sushi plate with the Spiderman Roll, the Blue Crab Roll, and the Explorer Roll. They were all delicious, and I cannot wait to go back to try the Cherry Cherry Boom Boom Roll…:-) The service was prompt and great, it was busy and we were told at the start that we would have a little wait, but it was not an issue since we did not have a time constraint. If you are heading to a movie, you might want to have some extra time just in case! The dining was casual and there were families with older kids there, I would have liked it to be a bit quieter and less fast paced, so I might find another location that might have less of the sports bar feel, or maybe eat outside when the weather is nice! The location is great for Olive Branch and I would highly recommend them!

The food is always good. All sushi rolls I have tried are amazing and the Orange chicken is a favorite. The hibachi steak is the only thing I have had not up to par. It was not very flavorful at all. The customer service is hit or miss. The domestic beer prices are pretty cheap!

Red Fish Sushi Asian Bistro is a Japanese/Chinese combination style restaurant in Olive Branch, very near to Malco Cinema. I arrived right around 5PM(Friday) and was promptly seated to a cozy booth table setting. The atmosphere is casual dining, but with low lighting to accent the multiple walled mounted aquariums. Outdoor dining is also an option. The menu has a large variety of dishes and sushi rolls for the most picky of Japanese sushi lovers :) I tried the spicy salmon roll along with my Mongolian Beef entrée(Served with white rice, miso soup), which to me was some of the best, tender beef I have tried before! Prices were very reasonable(starting @$ 5.95 for sushi rolls and $ 10.50 for my entrée). There is no hibachi grill option, like you would see at Stix, Osaka; however, the food is very fresh and well seasoned. Portion size is more than enough for the average adult. I will definitely be coming back again and will be considered a favorite from now on! Highly recommended ;)

Went here for the first time tonight and I was pleased with it. They have cool fish tanks and our waiter was very nice. We had edamame, miso soup, fried rice, the batman roll, with some Tokyo rose saki. All of it was great and we will definitely be coming back!

So glad I got to try this place. The atmosphere is amazing and I was only therefor lunch. I can only imagine how amazing it looks at night. Sushi is good, and so is the vegetable fried rice. I’m certain they will thrive as their menu is solid and so is their service.

Very nice addition to the area. I had the Thai Drunken Noodles, they were decent. Definitely the most American Thai dish I’ve ever had, but not bad. We had the Coconut Shrimp for an appetizer and that was pretty good, the sauce they served with it was really good. My mom got the teriyaki shrimp bento box, she was very pleased with the portion and quality. The service was very good, the overall appearance of the restaurant is very clean and nice. I would have no problems coming back.

What a great new addition to the Olive Branch area! Red Fish serves Chinese and Japanese and do both very well. So far we’ve been here several times since they opened just a couple of weeks ago and they are already way ahead of several other restaurants in the area that have been open a whole lot longer. Service had been great even like last night when every table was full. As for the food everything I’ve had so far was great. The sushi is great and I really enjoyed the hibachi. The General Tso chicken is some of the best I’ve had. The only reason I didn’t give Red Fish five stars is the fried rice could be better. I like it however there are two other restaurants very near that have better fried rice. I love the space here. Great looking bar, several tv’s around and the sushi bar is very nice as well. There are still so many things to discover on their menu and I can’t wait to go back and try them.
