Subway

I live in Old Forge and this Subway has been up and down in terms of service since it started in Old Forge. I have eaten there 3 or 4 times this summer and the staff that they have there now are absolutely perfect. They get everything right, work quickly and are very polite. As long as it stays like this I will eat there a lot.

It’s Subway, so I didn’t expect much. The food was okay. It’s hard to screw up franchised food.
BUT
The service was terrible. The lady making the sandwich was incredibly grumpy and acted like she was rushed and bothered even though we were the only customers in the store.
Then we sat down to eat and another employee, a tall blonde lady in her 40’s, came out to sit down with a biker that had just arrived. Must have been a boyfriend because she immediately started complaining about scheduling and how poorly run the store was. Very unprofessional.
Then this same lady started yelling at my 3 year old daughter for, well, being a 3 year old. She was climbing on her chair and playing with the front window. Very rude employee.
I have no intention of supporting this Subway franchise again and hope that the owners read this and address some of these attitudes. There are LOTS of other places to eat in Old Forge.
