Some cool stuff — but when the customer is getting the stink eye from the family member or whomever it was sitting on the chair playing with their eye phone and not willing to move so we can look at what we wanted to buy I would say move on. Dakota was nice and trying but didn’t get any help… no Bueno.

I wish there were more local stores like this downtown. This store screams Oklahoma! I love it. They’ve got some great stuff. From furniture to boots and even some small accessories like men’s wallets. I’d definitely suggest going by. Stop by Coffee Slingers and get a coffee while you browse. Great location on Automobile Alley.

I love the fact that in a world full of skinny jeans, Rawhide carries a wide array of bootcut jeans. You can also find some great western shirts, sweaters, and some really pretty blouses. You can also find more fringe per square foot than any shop I’ve ever been in. I especially like the AG jeans, and flowing blouses Johnny Was and Love and Liberty. The young lady helping was really great about getting different sizes for me, but not at all pushy. For men’s clothing, again lots of western style shirts, but also some really great leather including Daily Driver jackets that look like a million bucks. Their home furnishings outside of my present budget, but lovely to go and visit! Carved wooden desks, giant leather couches, chairs, and beautiful handmade throws and pillows. The location is great. This store fits right in on Automobile Alley, which would be so great as a walkable shopping district if there were more stores. A parting note: This place is the epitome of upscale cowboy culture. Don’t visit if you don’t like a taste of that every once in a while. Don’t go if you don’t like a little bit of country music from time to time. If it feels hyper-western, that’s the idea. I have a few friends who don’t ‘get it’ and think it’s kitschy. It’s only kitschy if you’re not hip to the jive that western culture is, in fact, culture.
