We’re a new age or metaphysical shop that also carries supplies for pagans, wiccans, or witch craft, such as candles, herbs, oils, and altar supplies. We have an excellent selection of stones and crystals.

But we are not primarily a pagan store. In fact, most of our wares are luxurious boutique treasures. I made herbal incense, bath and body products, and handmade soap (if you like Lush, try ours too). I really love to make men’s shaving and grooming products, because there’s not enough stuff for our guys!

We have spiritual gifts such as prayer flags, tapestries, incense burners, and tote bags. I make some embroidered things like reuseable shopping bags and shirts.

Finally, if you are looking for a tarot or psychic reading, or spiritual counselling, or would like to do confession, we do that too. Yes. Confession.

History

Established in 2000.

A long-​time affinity for making jewelry, candles, perfumes, incense, soap, and other potions coupled with a desire to change careers in the late 90s eventually led me to start a metaphysical business at the end of 2000.

Doing shows is tedious work and we longed for a place to get stuff on the shelves and keep it there for more than a weekend a month, so eventually we opened a storefront in 2002. Moved to a bigger location in 2003. Closed to observe the recession, but went back to doing shows and selling online (Etsy, ArtFire).

In 2010 we started checking out shops that had survived the recession, travelling all over the country to experience as many as possible, getting ideas for our reboot. In 2011 we began an active search for a new location.

Summer of 2012 we scored a location we’d had our eye on for years — right by the Red Cup, a coffee house we’ve visited many times over the past 15 years. This is a great place for us and we’re grateful to be back on the sales floor again.

I’m a Tool Diva, I love to make stuff. I am multi-​faceted thanks to a rather fickle Muse. I’m just as much at home building a cabinet as I am building a relational database, silversmithing, or creating a delicate blend of essential oils for aromatherapy. I make a lot of stuff for the shop and enjoy every minute of it.

I am absolutely psychic. I didn’t know other people weren’t familiar with that part of their brains until I was in college. I believe this is an integral part of the human experience, not that I am special. Like being able to sing, some people maybe have a little more talent than others, but normally one can sing if one wishes.

I am a licensed minister and take that part of my work very seriously. I seem to have a gift for counselling and this is another aspect of running a shop that I really like.

I am completely crap at website development, lest you think I’m just full of myself here. Absolute crap. LOL
