Quality Muffler & Complete Auto Repair

Ernie has done amazing work on all our vehicles, even my boat; for several years now. Always worked with us, even waiting a few days sometimes to allow us to pay him in full for service he does. We have referred him for friends vehicles too and all has bern well We brought our RV to him to do bottom to top work on it. Understandable, a lot of work needed to be done since it was an older RV, and we paid several thousand to get it done. My disappointment is that there was zero over heating until he did work on it. With the constant over heating most likely the engine is now a mess. Ernie is refusing any responsibility and referring to some paperwork that shows engine work done 20k miles ago from another mechanic. He says if we need the problem fixed we will need to pay. I have to consult my attorney on this, just to make sure it’s being handled correctly because I don’t feel it is. Had a really good talk with my attorney about everything that had happened, what Ernie said what we see, etc. At first he recommended calling the Bureau of Automotive Repair to send an inspector out and on top of that get a second opinion to see if something incorrect was done. However, 30 mins later going through all the facts about this; seems that Ernie is correct. Especially after unwavering honesty through the years, and Ernie’s technical explanation translating into laymen for me. The attorney and I feel he is being truthful, but it’s a challenge to determine if it’s a part or something that caused it. This seems to be a catch22.
