The rules for the pool are so strict that you cannot enjoy yourself. All parents are required to suit up and be in the baby pool with your child, even if they are six and even if the water does not go over their heads in the deepest part and even when there are lifeguards on duty. The slide is barely ever on and the lazy river is often blocked off. You cannot talk on cell phone while using the machines. Too many strict rules to enjoy yourself. Not worth the money paid.

clean, spacious, well-equipped, easy check in for this out of towner… plenty of private spaces for stretching and ball work, indoor track, rock wall, courts galore, nice pool. women’s locker room was spotless and had day lockers for a quarter which was great. and towel service! you don’t get that everywhere. popular place and it’s easy to see why. one of the best YMCA gyms I’ve had the pleasure of visiting.

Place rating: 4 Watertown, WI
One of the nicest, cleanest YMCAs you’ll come across. It offers a little bit of everything from an indoor track to a lap pool and smaller water park. It has a large basketball court, free weights, elliptical, racquetball along with offering several classes such as zumba and cycling. If you like to be active and have options this is the place for you. Downfall is that it is a bit pricey.

Place rating: 5 Oconomowoc, WI
This is not the only gym in Oconomowoc, and certainly not the cheapest, but the facility is immaculately clean with a nice selection of workout equipment. The family pool has a great slide, there is a rock climbing wall, and they offer many classes and programs included in the price of membership.
