I usually get peanut butter and French vanilla frozen yogurt with yogurt chips. However, the last time I went I was in the mood for something else. They recently added things other than fro yo to the menu so I ordered the teriyaki chicken flatbread. It was very yummy and I will be getting it again. The sauce was salty but that’s how it is. The employees are very helpful and the seating is comfortable.

HORRIBLE. The yogurt was not even frozen yogurt. It was slush. Not even a lot of toppings and nobody greeted us or rang us up. There was an interviewee sitting down and waiting and we actually had to ask her for assistance. Then when the employee finally came, she said she couldnt ring us up because of shift time changes. So I went and said, «so what do we do, take this?» How idiotic and ridiculous. Never coming back. Only came cause it was closer than swirls n twirls from long beach.

I am in the neighborhood. Only frozen yogurt place. I know how bad they were, said what the heck. I go in, no flavors I like, no vanilla. I left and headed to a place closer to home.

This location is one of my least favorites. On my last few visits since they reopened after Sandy, they were either missing flavors, their machines were not working, or were pumping out melted, liquid-y yogurt. They also close really early, so it’s not a place to go to when it’s later in the evening. This location really needs to work on getting their customers back.

My kids and I were here a couple of days ago. Half of the frozen yogurt/ice cream is not available and so are the toppings. Some of the fresh ingredients are unevenly sliced. I mean, some are huge chunks & others are really small, as if whoever did it cared less on what they were doing. Totally disappointing! It ruins the Red Mango Brand.

First let me be clear that the girl at the counter is in no way responsible for the ingredients she’s given to work with so none of this review is her fault. That being said, I went in on a Monday and over half of the smoothies couldn’t be made due to the ingredients not available. Then when I found a drink she could in fact make I observe her pulling out a plastic bottle of Stop & Shop apple juice, the kind that sits on a shelf for 5 years! Yes fresh bananas and strawberries were used but the apple juice makes me wonder what other not fresh ingredients are used here.

My friends told me a lot about Red Mango and wasn’t sure what to expect. I have experienced many Fro Yo places but they all said this one was different. I was not impressed, I couldn’t sample all the flavors and the guy working was more concerned about his friends that were hanging out. The price and topping were very similar to that of Menchie’s and You Say When Yogurt.

it’s alright, very decent seating, completely freezing in here. i think there are ten fro-yo flavors at any given time. but there’s no peace as the doorbell ding occurs(LOUDLY) every time someone touches the door. SO obnoxious. i feel like i’m in some creepy haunted house. service is nice, music is good and at a low volume(thank goodness). the screaming children, alright, it’s a yogurt shop. the caretakers of screaming children competing with the kids? complete buzzkill. i feel SO badly for the one girl working so hard, running around like a lunatic. front, back, clean, serve. are all red mangos like this? will try a different location next time.

The fresh fruit was barely there & what was left was old. When I asked them to refill the fruit they said it was still in the back getting ripe. This is my first time here and will definitely be my last time at this location.

I remember the day this location opened… I waited eagerly online, outside, in the snow! I was already a fan of the chain and so excited that one had opened near me! For a fruity-healthy mix, try pomegranate with kiwi and mango. For a sweet-tooth fix, try the peanut butter with brownie bites For a meal, get one of their awesome parfaits — very filling and very good for you! For a cool drink — try the mango smoothie… absolute refreshment! This location was great because it was full service, but now they’re switching to self-serve. :(

I wish we had one of these in Detroit. Great great frozen yogurt. Really fresh toppings, and the staff at this particular place were nice, welcoming and competent. I am particularly fond of the tart yogurt — but found the others also good enough to substitute if the tart was out. The yogurt was not sugary sweet, or cloying. Very fresh tasting — We were in Long Beach for almost 2 weeks, and we had Red Mango almost every day. It is a bit pricey however — but in the hot summer, totally worth it.

My kids have tried all the flavors and did not like any of them. I thought they were just being picky, but I did the same, and they were just yuck!

Pomegranate with oreos = heaven in the form of fro-yo.
