Make It Happen Carpet Cleaning

Very pleased with my recent service from Tom. We’ve put off a carpet cleaning for much longer than we should have, yet Tom was able to bring it back to life. His buffer machine chewed right through the stains and spots, and the carpet was almost completely dry by the time he was packing up his van to leave. I’m also particularly glad that he was able to get out here so quickly — I called late in the day for a quote, and he was here the next afternoon. I will definitely be calling him again for my next cleaning — will also make sure to bring up his company to my boss next time we get the office done. Always nicer to deal with a local outfit over the corporate chains.

I had Tom and Alex at my house and I could not be happier. I wanted some carpet removed in the entrance and dining room and have the edges finished off. I did not know that the tile under my carpet was covered in paint. Covered, a ¼ inch of paint. Tom was able to remove the paint. This guy can do everything regarding floors and his prices are very reasonable. He also likes dogs!

They are awesome! Very reasonable prices and they did an awesome job fixing our carpet that our little puppy chewed up! John is very friendly and provided great customer service! I definitely recommend this company!

Tom did such a great job! I called him last minute and he fit me into his schedule the next day! The tile floors through out the house look fantastic and the carpets look even better! He power washed my garage and back patio and they turned out amazing!!! I already have him booked for 2 more jobs! Thanks again Tom!

Tom and his crew (Chris & Alex) has always been professional, efficient and great workers when coming to my home. Knowing that I had a baby on the way, they did a wonderful job of assuring my home would be «baby crawling» ready. Going over and beyond is something they seem to do naturally. They even left me with a little extra cleaning solution for a «just in case» problem with pet urine. I will continue using their services and referring others as well.

This is the best carpet cleaning company I have ever used. They come last minute, they got stains out of my carpet that no one else could before. The owner is so nice. I trust them enough 2 leave my door unlocked and money on the counter. You can not go wrong with this company.

At first, I wasn’t too impressed… showed up late for a 30 minute time slot they gave me… no biggie, just wished they would have given me a heads up phone. I was told my place needed pre-treated…I definitely agreed with the Tom… carpets were disgusting. They were courteous, but were a little tough to talk with at the beginning when they were looking for a parking spot at my apartment complex. Once work started, they were super nice and professional. Remember people… if you’re going to be rude, you’ll most likely be treated the same way. Also, most people likely use a coupon/​voucher and are already saving 50% compared to other places (I checked some other places) so don’t expect to pay just the voucher price unless you have light stains. You’re going to get what you pay for… if you want to beat up on the help, perhaps you should pay a bit more for that right. He didn’t up sell me at all… I actually up sold myself when I asked about applying Scotch Guard the carpets… they do that, too, and cheaper than buying the stuff myself. They also don’t use soap which only looks good for the first month or two, then all the dust, dirt and grime will stick to the soapy residue… that’s who my apartment complex uses, which motivated me to call Make it Happen in the first place… well, that and the Living Social deal ;o). I’ll definitely call these guys again.

If I could give zero stars, I would. We purchased a voucher for window cleaning on Amazon Local from this company. It took three tries just to even make an appointment, because they do not return calls. Our window cleaning appointment was for today, 9÷13÷13. The guy on the phone when we made the appointment said they would be here between 8:30 and 9:00am. We stayed home from work to wait for them. By 9:10 they hadn’t showed up, so my husband called them. They said they would look into it but nobody called us back. Finally we called at 9:30 again and were told that we were NOT ON THEIR SCHEDULE. We stayed home to meet them for nothing. I just requested a refund from Amazon Local. Totally unprofessional.

I was disappointed. The «traffic patterns», not worn carpet, are just the same as if I had rented a machine and done the work myself. When I asked the technician about it, he was very casual and not interested in providing adequate carpet cleaning.

We were looking for someone to clean our carpets on short notice. MIHCC was the only place that answered the phone on a Sunday and then came to do the job that afternoon. That was amazing! We’ve used them twice now and recently we had them clean upholstery as well. We were happy with the job they did at our house so we used them at our business. In addition to carpet and upholstery cleaning, they’ll strip and wax tile flooring. Fast, friendly service, fair prices and they do a good job. We’ll use them again!

OK! Finally I found a RELIABLE and professional carpet cleaning business I can count on to be honest and fair and best of all affordable.
I found MIHCC here on Unilocal.Yes I took a chance but was willing to after talking with Graig on the phone. I was in a frustrating situation when I called him after 3 attempts to have my carpets cleaned by other companies. I had an appt with another company (referred by a friend) that once again did not show up I decided to go on Unilocal.Make It Happen Carpet Cleaning did just that. They made it happen for me and got the job done that day. Tom the technician was professional and friendly and really knew how to take care of some gnarly stains and even some super glue in the carpet thanks to my son and his creative ways.

I bought a coupon on Groupon and was expecting the bare minimum, but the owner of the company actually cleaned our 3 bedroom condo and it turned out amazing! He showed up on time and was very fast and efficient. I will definitely be using this company again. 5 star +++!

Bought a group-​on deal back in November and when I called and the guy was was extremely rude wouldn’t let me speak and hung up on me when I tried to explain that I was in his area that was on his map. If you are not in Oceanside he doesn’t want to honor his advertisement. I have never dealt with such a rude business person in my life. Negative 5 stars.

Got a really good groupon deal for carpet cleaning through this company. They did a great job on my carpets. I did pay extra for the pre-​soak spot remover however, but I guess I had some rough spots so I wanted to be sure they all came out. I think only one spot didn’t come out, but the rest were all really bad so overall I was happy. The guys showed up on time, actually early (which is shocking for most places) and they were really quick. Carpets didn’t take long at all to dry. They were mostly dry by the time I got home from work.

My carpets took over 5 days to dry, there was too much water used during the cleaning process. Now the carpets smell moldy and in certain spots they crunch as you walk over them where the water build up underneath was too much. Tom is full of excuses that have nothing to do with using too much water and chemicals! I can’t even stand to be in my own bedroom now without the windows open constantly.
I’m VERY disappointed and would suggest NEVER USING THIS COMPANY. Nothing worse then calling to ask why the carpets smell and were wet for over 5 days and getting someone VERY defensive, which normally is a sign to begin with, and not getting good customer service. He wouldn’t even let me talk, I had to hang up on him as he kept talking over me. The customer should be at the very least listened to!

What a great local company, I alway belive it is better to support the small business owner and was not dissapointed. Extremely accomodating in every way. His price beats out the bigger guys and the quality of the job was second to none. I will be reccomending Make It Happen Carpet Cleaning to everyone I know because just like their name states they make it happen.

I had Tom come out to clean my apartment today. I have lived here 2 ½ years and the carpet was very dingy with spots. To my great delight and surprise, the carpet on the stairs came clean, the room carpet came clean (even after pet accidents) and it looks like a brand new carpet! He even offered to stretch out the carpet in the room in order to repair a previous tenant’s cat clawing damage if I could move the furniture out of the way. WOW! Definitely an outstanding job, great attitude — he went above and beyond! I highly recommend him to anyone needing carpets cleaned or repaired. You won’t find a better price or higher quality job anywhere in San Diego. If you’re looking for a carpet cleaner with integrity who takes pride in his work, search no further… you found him! :-)
