Was a little skeptical given reviews but we had a good experience here this morning. Less than a 5 minute wait, very good service by Ricardo and the manager(who stopped by our table to help clear the table and ask us how our meal was) and predictable food. 4 stars because the food wasn’t extraordinary but the service was 5 stars.

Waitress was good however, it seems as if the food was prepared with speed in mind instead of taste. My omelet was full of oil and the French toast was fried bread.

I think the servers should be more aware about what they say around people eating at this IHOP. The last time I came in, it was around midnight with a group of friends. We were sat very close to the kitchen and we overheard the servers talking in there about how«the Mexicans are stealing our jobs.» I understand people have different point of views, I respect that, but really I don’t think something like that is appropriate to say around customers, especially when they can hear you all the way from the kitchen. Otherwise, the food here is subpar and honestly is a hit or miss.

Went to the free stack of pancakes day to support the children’s hospital. It was busy I understand that but I have a handicap and asked if I could sit outside or could she the manager help me get a seat. She didn’t care at all and wasn’t very nice. So people that are handicapped should stay away from the ihop by Frazier farms.

This place was awful. There was about 6 people in the whole restaurant. Two out of three entrees ordered were incorrect. The food tasted HORRIBLE, we had to flag our incompetent server Josue down for refills. We had to ask him for things like napkins and silverware. Other members of the FOH team were walking around on their cellphones. The only time our server paid any attention to us is when it was the time to pay the bill. I am in the service industry so I rarely ever complain and ALMOST always leave 20% minimum. Sorry to say that this time, that won’t be the case.

The service was fast! The food portions huge! The coffee fresh! What more can be said? I recommend this IHOP location. The prices have gone up but well worth the updated menu items. Only thing… Wish they offered a side of two pancakes and not 3 or 5. 2 is perfect…

I’ve been here a handful of times over the past 2 years. Always a great experience. Nice service, great good. Our server today, Anna, was so sweet and attentive.

Well, not the IHOP I wanted to go to, but it was the one that was not crazy busy so it had to do. I like them better than a Denny’s as the food is not nearly as greasy, but my wife’s country fried steak could have used more than a teaspoon of gravy on it. And country fried didn’t mean crispy hard either last time I remembered. My pancakes were good enough and my Splashberry drink was great, but a refill just before receiving the check would have been nice. To be fair, it was pretty busy at this location too, but with several of the wait staff just waiting outside the kitchen to pick up their orders, they could have managed time better and saw to the beverage needs.

This IHOP is very unacceptable. we were seated within in 5 min. Usually the server comes by to get our drink order upon us being seated. we were seated and for about 20 – 25 min the server was not be seen to help my family and I. Not recommended To go to. Very unhappy customer.

Terrible take out experience. They forgot our gravy for the country fried steak and the strawberries for the waffles. Waffles were as soft as pancakes. Medium rare steak was black/blue as if they were heated for a second on each side on a skillet and completely raw in the inside near the bone. Lastly, they only gave us half a normal serving of hash browns. I hope you’re proud of yourselves IHOP management. There should be some MAJOR adjustments to your restaurant if you want customers to return.

I loved coming to ihop, and this never happened to me before but I had hair in my eggs. It looked like the placed the hair right in the middle of the egg and didn’t bother to take it out, thinking that we wouldn’t see it. NASTY’

This is by far the slowest service I have ever received at an Ihop, I understand is Saturday but it took over 45min for our breakfast to be ready, the food was Ok but the OJ was warm, and the restaurant looked dirty! 2 stars because the server was helpful. It’s an Ihop

I would give more stars but I didn’t stay long. I actually walked in was seated then walked out. It smell extremely bad, It smelled like syrup and like a musty sweaty gym. I couldn’t take it so my mom and i left. We are going to go to the ihop in San Marcos.

Some of the younger male staff members here prefer chatting with their friends rather then doing their jobs. The establishment is relatively clean but is a bit overshadowed by the amount of homeless that hang around uncomfortably near the front door and ask to use the restroom or try to bum cigarettes. Its not a bad place just needs some work though.

Pros: Food is always consistently good. Cons: The staff always seems clueless as to what is going on. Never friendly. You’re going to wait at LEAST40 minutes for your food and if you ask why you’ll get a «we’re trying». It shouldn’t take 40 minutes for some eggs and hash browns. You’ll also never see a refill unless you chase down the waitress. Overall disappointed. If service was better the review would be better, because the food is actually decent.

After shopping at the premium outlet felt like dining here(also Interstate 5 was clogged). Staffs are friendly here. Initially preferred to sit outside. It was windy and cold so went back in and they accommodated us. My LO was bit fussy and the waiter asked us if he can bring in some snacks. That was really niceNICE of them to offer and it helped my LO unwind before the actual order came in. I liked the strawberry crêpe with banana cream filling. The portion size was bigger than the ad displayed. Fries are yummy and of the right texture(not soggy and not dry — crisp with good amount of saltiness).

The service was horrendous! It took us over 40 minutes to get served. The waitress seemed clueless. I did not trust her with my gluten free order. Also just a heads up for my gluten free peeps. Their omelettes have pancake batter in them unless you say you want ‘cracked eggs’ All other omelettes are made with pre-made egg combinations. Who knows what else they put in it besides eggs and pancake batter.

Hostess/server was so great! Very nice and pleasant. Unfortunately AFTER being seated, ordering coffee and our food we discovered ANTS all over the wall next too our booth and all over the syrup too. She was great, but we couldn’t stay. So grossed out!

So happy this location is 24 hours(the one on the other end of Oceanside Blvd. isn’t). The service here is decent, and the food is what you would expect from any other ihop.
