I just had a maple bar, apple fritter and glazed donut. There is a strange taste to the dough of the bar and fritter so I’m going to only give them a 3. The glazed donut however garners a 5. I would like to know what ingredient they are using that is giving the different taste to the two items. There is something noticeably different. I must find out. Oh, and my wife said the cruller was lighter and fluffier than most so I’m going to rate that a 5 also.

Finally decided to give this donut place a try, was not disappointed! Very fresh, quality donuts. After trying this place you’ll never want to eat at dunkin donuts again. Fast & friendly customer service. Not to mention most of the donuts are HUGE! I ordered ½ dozen & it came out to about $ 6 **Cash only **

I consider myself a doughnut expert and these are incredible. I have yet to try any that aren’t amazing, we come in just about every Saturday morning. You have to pay with cash but there’s a reasonable ATM in the shop.

Love it! They will also fill your donuts with the different types of fillings they have if your choice isn’t available in the case. Great service.

Can you tell from all the donut shops we visit that we like donuts — lol! Well it is no shocker we had to stop in here to find out what everyone was raving about. Well truth be told all those rave reviews about the glazed doughy goodness were right! This place makes a delicious glazed donut– tried and test by yours truly — the wife!

If you are looking for friendly service and good prices on breakfast, definitely come here. Their croissants are very delicious, as are their bagels and donuts. If you like, they even offer lottery scratchers to get yer fix, or cigarettes as well.

Good donuts but the people speak bad English and don’t have good personal skills great pricing! Makes me a little scared about the ingredients but hey, when you walk here it’s good to get out from under the sun!

Quite literally obsessed with these donuts. They are the best I have ever had and they have a wide variety. Get there early or they’ll be gone!

Their donuts are good, but the breakfast sandwiches are what I drive the extra distance for. They are fantastic — especially the croissant bacon egg and cheese, but they do tend to run out of croissants — so if you’re looking for a late breakfast and go there, you might end up with a bagel instead. Good, but not quite as good.

It was easy to give this donut shop a five star review, because of the quality, selection and service. Quality– fluffy, fresh, and NOT greasy. Selection-hard to find donuts are found here, such as coconut topping and chocolate donut with raspberry filling. Service-quick, efficient and willing to put filling in a donut that can take it(ie raspberry). This donut shop is busy on weekends, so get there early to get the best selection. You’ll be glad you did !

Sk’s Donuts has been at the same location for many years. They are always super friendly and greet you with a smile. Their donuts are consistently fresh and tasty. I really like their glazed, maple, cinnamon crumb and strawberry raised donuts. Their apple fritters are pretty good too. They also have 3 different kinds of donut holes(my kids love them). I’ve been there after 10am a couple of times and it was slim pickins’ so be sure to get there earlier for the best selection. As with most donut shops, they only accept cash but fortunately there is an ATM machine a few feet to the left of the cash register. Note: Be careful when entering the parking lot when heading North on Coast Highway because there isn’t much of a left turn lane and people tend to speed.

Sk’s never disappoints! They serve the freshest, softest, most flavorful donuts in Oceanside! It’s a small donut shop that also offers breakfast sandwiches, coffee/beverages, and lotto. Wonderful customer service! Don’t leave without a chocolate chocolate coconut donut(if I didn’t already buy them all!) CASHONLY!

Hah! I’ve been looking, I knew they were here somewhere, I finally found them… North County’s best doughnuts! Some friends were coming over and I thought some boxes of doughnuts were in order. Raced on over to this retro doughnut shop near Oceanside Bvd. The doughnuts were just as promised: not greasy, very tasty, very satisfying. And if you’ve got a hankering for a doughnut, you gotta try the chocolate cinnamon roll. It’s humongous, a cinnamony doughnut topped with gobs of chocolate frosting. Chopped it up into pieces and we polished it off… along with a bunch of others. The only one that doesn’t get an A is the jelly doughnut. The jelly inside was waaaay too sweet and gooey. More substance, less arrowroot. Yeah, I’ll be back… I try to stay away … but it’s hopeless…
