History

Established in 2011.

English Way was opened for local families who want a different kind of preschool. Home based without the corporate feel. With few preschools in the area, most offering daycare for children ranging between the ages of 6 months and 12 years, there were no age specific preschools locally — so English Way Preschool was born.

Focusing on children between the ages of two and a half and five, it targets the skills these children need to learn and develop. It also offers a Kindergarten Readiness Program, and because there are no infants, or older children, learning and lessons can be more finely tuned.

English Way was established by a certified teacher from England with over 18 years experience. She has combined the best English and American preschool curriculums to develop quite a unique learning experience. Small class sizes, play based learning and lots of social interaction, ensures each child gets the attention they deserve.

Meet the Manager

Carline H.

Manager

English Way Preschool is run by Carline H, a teacher from England with over 18 years experience in education and teaching. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, a Graduate Certificate in Education, a Post Graduate Certificate in Education from the University of East London and is also trained to teach children with mild learning and speech difficulties.

Carline taught elementary education in England at Calverton Primary school for 10 years and preschool classes at The International Preschool in Manhattan, NY for 6 years.

As the Location Director (Principal) at The International Preschool she managed 29 teachers and over 500 children, so has a wealth of knowledge and experience in teaching preschoolers.

Carline wrote the structured curriculum for English Way, is CPR trained, licensed by the State of California (License Number 37 664 480) and affiliated with the NAEYC.
