We began as a small window company specializing in replacement windows and replacement doors (vinyl, wood, wood-​clad, fiberglass, bay windows, garden windows, French sliding doors, double French doors, glass sliding doors, entry doors, new construction, energy efficient windows, and even aluminum if you really want it) as well as window fashions, closets, garages. Our mission has always been to «revolutionize the home improvement industry, one customer at a time» so we specialize in creating a customer experience that is second to none. We have now expanded, or specialize in much more than windows. We do all types of window coverings, Garages, and are experiencing amazing growth in the solar industry.

History

Established in 2000.

American Vision Windows began with the sole purpose of «revolutionizing the home improvement industry, one customer at a time». 13 years and 400,000 window installations later, American Vision Windows is honored to now be the number one window replacement company in California. American Vision has also expanded to Arizona, and we now offer installation of quality blinds, shades, garage doors and solar, as well!

Bill and Kathleen H.

Business Owner

Founding owners, husband and wife team Bill and Kathleen Herren, started out as ordinary customers, looking to upgrade their own home with replacement windows and patio doors.

With a two-​story house full of aluminum windows, Bill and Kathleen were constantly battling the drastic temperature difference between upstairs and downstairs. Also, with a new baby boy in the house, they were concerned about a draft near his crib. Seeking an energy-​saving solution, they began to learn about the benefits of all types of windows that reduce noise and energy costs, for a more secure home.

Unfortunately, they found a series of poor contractors and a need for impressive service that customers can rely on. Other companies are taking deposits and then closing up shop, or giving customers sub-​par installations and bad warranties.

The Herrens knew they could do it better — and they have, revolutionizing the home improvement industry and installing almost 4000,000 replacement windows and doors so far.
