I specialize in illustration of all kinds, including 3d illustration, technical illustration, photo illustration, editorial illustration, spot illustration and cartoons. I also produce graphic design for print and web, specializing in food packaging and customized Joomla content managed sites. In addition to designing and producing custom sites, I am capable of designing and coding basic server-​side applications for your site.

History

Established in 1988.

This is a home-​based business. I’ve freelanced since college (BA Illustration), back in ’73, but in 1988 I decided to go independent full-​time. This was at the dawn of the personal computer age, which gave me the tools I needed. I love technology, and in the early days wrote my own code for typesetting, and word processing and 3D illustration, but by 1988 sophisticated graphic art software was becoming available. For several years I partnered with local agencies to produce thousands of projects. In 2004 I moved my office back into my home, as pervasive use of the Internet and high bandwidth allowed me to deliver my products digitally. Since then I’ve worked for companies all over Southern California.

Born to missionary parents in colonial West Africa, I was introduced early to a global, cross-​cultural perspective. Educated and privileged to live in Southern California, I’ve been fortunate work in the career of my choice all of my adult life. Having lived in Oceanside for 25+ years, I have become deeply involved in community service. I live happily with my wife of 40+ years.
