Quality Inn Oceanfront

The hotel room was absolutely perfect. The staff was very friendly. We came here in November for my son’s birthday, so the main attraction was the pool. It was a little more crowded than we could stand so we didn’t get to enjoy the pool as much as we’d like. The water temperature was perfect though, super warm! Only other problem with the pool is that one of the steps on the ladder really needs to be repaired.
The birds in the atrium were super cool to look at and interact with. We also enjoyed the small arcade and fitness room. We were on the lower floor that had a walk out porch onto the beach. Doesn’t seem like there could be a bad room in the hotel.

We stay here because it is a reasonably priced suite, with balconies overlooking the beach. This hotel is very good for a family with kids. It is a little worn, but this is common for beachfront locations in my opinion. What we really like: beach front location; indoor pool with hot tubs; outdoor pool surrounded by pretty trees, which feels tropical, and with outdoor bar; atrium with a fish pond, tropical birds and turtles (kids like this a lot); small playground with swings; kitchenettes in suites suitable for making breakfast and lunch; easy parking. We have found the staff to be very helpful and courteous. We also like the Quality Inn boardwalk location.

Very good location! Stayed in a double bed with sleeper, plenty of room for 3 – 4 ppl… ocean views were great. Rooms were clean BUT worn, you can tell ALOT of people have stayed in them but all in all great value. Kids get a kick out of parrots, live turtles, and gigantic Koi fish in the atrium right in middle of hotel!
Gym sort of a joke… pretty much all equipment was old and broken

We go here for a eight day vacation. Check was quick and staff helpful. Room clean nice TV with a kitchen. First thing I plug in my plugs and the wall jack was loose. Every time i move the table it which on and off. Call it in they said it work. AC work until it get really cold and turn it off can’t turn it on with out staff resting.
Kitchen only had one plate. I had to call to get more plate. Plus we had to call to get a large pot. Plus there were lids with no pots. Kitchen had dishwasher stove and oven. Coffee pot only makes one cup at a time.
Wifi very slow. Keep on linking up to use it.
Bathroom wall paper flaking and no shower curtain.
Cell phone service only one bar. No internet service thou phone carer.
Front desk had kiwi, bananas, orange and more.
Also by the pool Atrium café & bar and out side pool. We needed pickup breakfast
TRIO COMBO One each pancake egg and choice of bacon and sausage.
DONT GET THE SAUSAGE!!!

CHEESE OMELET with cheese and choice of meat ham, sausage or bacon. was so so. Even we order a small cup of wine yea right.
For the pice I paid they should have did better. Not coming back here.

Horrid. waited an hour past check in time for a room to be available. Went to room, thought bedspread had black lint on it, turned out to be bugs! A layer of bugs on the bed and wall… called the desk, they said «come get a new room». Hauled our stuff back to lobby only to be given the key to the room adjacent to the first room, so we hauled our stuff back to where we had come from. Our room was next to the bar in the lobby, so pretty loud. Room was dirty and everything was old, old, old. would have appreciated if someone apologized for the bugs. 300 dollars for a stay from 4pm-​11am. Maid was knocking on the door at 10:45 to get us out.

Drool stains on your «clean» pillow cases
Hair on the bathroom floor
The tub sounding like it’ll crash down to the 1^st floor,
You should stay here!
The only upside is the friendly staff. I’m not sure who’s bright idea it was to put bird cages (They are cute, don’t get me wrong) in the open lobby where everyone can hear them… but it wasn’t a smart one.
But I won’t be staying here again!

Nice size rooms with all amenities. Lobby is nice. Love having both inside and outside pool. Unbelievable views! Would definitely stay here again

Stayed with my mom and boyfriend for prom weekend. Had a great time. Room was very clean and we made lots of use of the indoor and outdoor pool. Say hi to the birds and they say hello back!

I stayed at this hotel for a few nights last summer, and it was a great hotel. Awesome tropical atmosphere, great outdoor pool, and in door pool. The bar by the pool was awesome, made nice drinks and was refreshing to have a drink by the pool. The room also had an awesome ocean view balcony. And the beach was right there.
This hotel is very nice. Alittle pricey though. The room service was good, I was happy with my room, but I ordered the «king size» room, and it was much smaller than I thought. I was like «wow that’s it??» when I 1^st saw the room.
Also, the website claims this place has a fitness center. lol, the fitness center is a tiny closet sized room, with 1 treadmill in the corner. that’s it.
Very happy with this hotel, and will stay here next time im in Ocean City. It’s alittle pricey though, and the room was smaller than advertised, and the advertised «fitness center» was a fitness closet.

We stay here every year for vacation it is great nice pool and they have very friendly parrots and make sure men stay away form Dylan he dose not like men. In the room they have a full kitchen a big bathroom 2 large beds a couch, drawers, and a flatscreen tv. They have a bar and grill on the inside on the very bottom floor they have a gym and a game room.

I really liked this hotel. The rooms where a bit dated and it could definitely use a facelift but overall from the time I checked in till I checked out I was treated special. The girl at the front desk last night gave me a great rate and was very helpful, Scott at the café was great and at checkout they where also very nice. Bed was comfy and room was clean and I LOVED my ocean view room. What a great way to start a work day! I will be back for sure.

Affordable, accommodating, clean. Was completely booked this weekend. Kids were extremely happy with the pool and game room and birds and fish. Atrium café staff are wonderful! Thanks!

This was our second time at the Quality Inn, and it’s hard to beat for OCMD. The location is fabulous — right on a beautiful part of the beach and walking distance from restaurants /​shopping.
The staff is very kind, the bartenders are great, and the woman who tends to the birds in the morning is very kind and knowledgeable. The birds are all rescues, and are all well taken care of (as an animal lover and parrot owner, this made me happy to see).
The rooms are definitely dated, but both times our beds have been clean and comfortable, and the bathrooms /​towels also clean. We don’t use the kitchen or spend any time in the room otherwise, so it worked perfect for us.
We’ll be returning for another impromptu trip next year!

Have been coming here for the last 8 years… The kids really loved it. The employees are great although the hotel has become nothing more than a 5 story redneck trailer park!!! So much for non-smoking…smelled «pot» on my balcony tonight… Is that not smoking and illegal in MD? Sorry to say the Hotel is very dated and we will never return to this location.

My husband and I love this hotel and have stayed here many times. We just got home from our first trip there this year. It’s very close to the beach, the ocean front views are fantastic. The Atrium has live birds, fish, and turtles. Great food and great drinks and the bartenders are always fantastic. The rooms have large fridges, stoves, microwaves, toasters, coffee makers, dishes, and silverware so you can bring/​cook whatever you want. Some rooms sleep up to six comfortably. The indoor and outdoor pools are great too! Will definitely be staying here again!

Do NOT stay in room 413! It reeks of cigarettes.
We made a reservation and fortunately, checked the room out before schlepping our bags up. The lobby stank of chlorine and had some sad-​looking parrots in cages.
The room stank like an ashtray and there were burn marks all over the table on the small balcony. The whole hotel was tired and dank.
We went back to the front desk, asked for a refund, and got it. Ick. There are other places to stay that are in better condition in OC.

Beware vacationers… Stay as far away from this location as possible!!! I stayed here for a long weekend near the end of the summer with a small group of friends and luckily our friends stayed at a condo close by so we didn’t have to spend much time in our room.
Upon arriving, you are greeted by a brain dead host who does not know how to find your reservation despite them being in alphabetical order. You are then given room keys which work like a crippled person laying cement. Luckily we were able to find the trick to open the door from the housekeeper, which banged violently on my door every morning at 9AM until I opened up to tell her what I needed for the day. So much for a «do not disturb» sign…
Once we finally made it into the room, we were greeted by a full kitchen, which looked nice from a few feet away. The silverware and glasses did not appear to have been washed in quite a while (one even had lipstick on it!), and the refrigerator, while full sized, could not keep a gallon of OJ cold. The beds were quite comfortable, but I am happy to have brought my own sheets as the set provided were yellowed, and one of our mattresses appeared to have held a corpse for some time The television was very nice, but the couch was nothing more then broken pallets reconstructed and upholstered.
All in all, the hotel was very dated and musty smelling throughout. And although we wouldn’t recommend staying with this hotel for any weekend, we highly recommend you stay away during the summer months on account of our air conditioner being a sub standard unit more suited for a closet.

I recently stayed at the Quality Inn Oceanfront and my experience overall was very nice. What this property lacks in modernity it makes up for in convenience to the beautiful beach as its backyard.
I was thrown by «The Atrium.» This is their lobby that is purposely home to multiple species of exotic birds that like to start «singing» at about 7am.
Overall, this place was perfect for the purpose I had which was an overnight stay close to the beach on a budget. I’d go there again.

I’m a loyal Hilton member BUT when they were asking $ 389/​nt for a Sunday thru Tuesday stay in OC, I had to stray and boy am I glad I did! For my spontaneous getaway the Quality Inn was perfect. Not only was it convenient (right on the beach & in walking distance to good restaurants) but it kept surprising me with many pleasantries! Like what you’re wondering?
1. For starters a room with a balcony overlooking the outdoor pool and another over looking the indoor pool, so two balconies on one room was a plus.
2. A full kitchen, I mean with stove and everything, which if I was staying longer or with a family would’ve been great to keep things budget friendly.
3. The room was spacious and clean– but a bit warm. I called the front desk to say the air wasn’t working, literally within 3 minutes someone came in and had the air going with no problem. Now that’s the kind of service I like when I’m away from home!
4. The birds — -yes you read that right – the exotic birds walking around the atrium! 2 parrots and 3 amazons were perched on their cage or walking on the ground. NOW really — would you even think you’d see exotic birds in a Quality Inn? They also had fish, turtles and chameleons.
5. Free stuff — -free parking, free WiFi and a keurig station for all the free cups of coffee you want at your leisure. You know other beach hotels nickel & dime for everything.
6. Two bars– one outside by the pool and another inside by the atrium with HH specials daily
My stay there was very comfortable and I most certainly plan to return there in the future.
