Business Owner
Mr. Corman graduated from the University of Wisconsin, Madison in 1973 and the University of California, Hastings College of the Law in 1978. Previously to helping found Bogatin, Corman & Gold, he was staff counsel to the National Treasury Employees Union and subsequently staff counsel to the California School Employees. In 1992, Mr. Corman was honored as CSEA’s Employee of the Year for his representation of public sector employee plaintiffs in litigation affecting the pension rights of California public employees. He has served as a judicial arbitrator for the Alameda County Superior Court and currently serves as an advisor and hearing officer in California merit system school district employee disciplinary cases. In 1996, Mr. Corman was the legal advisor and editorial consultant for the publication California Assembly of Local Arts Agencies Personnel Handbook for California Nonprofits. In 2010, he co-authored the publication California Employment Law Issues in a Down Economy.
