I came in with questions about cat food (I’ve recently adopted a porch cat), and she was able to help me figure out what of the 100 brands you have is the right kind I should be looking at! Our dog, Leland, attended Steph’s dog training over about 6 weeks. Couldn’t have been happier with her training style, flexibility (in training content and scheduling) and effectiveness. We learned specific training activities and tricks, but — more importantly — we learned a broader approach that works beyond the specific lessons. It’s clear Steph loves dogs, and she’s really good at what she does. Highly recommended!

We LOVE Steph! We recently adopted an 11 month dog and upon meeting Steph, we immediately signed her up for the Adult Dog Complete Package (which includes 3 6-​week courses and ends with earning Canine Good Citizenship – it’s a GREAT deal!)
Steph is an amazing trainer who clearly loves her job. Dogs go nuts for Steph and it’s easy to see why. She is patient, effective, and loves all dogs. Our dog loved Steph so much, she would basically drag us down the street to get to training class.
Steph’s positive dog training techniques are also super effective. Our dog quickly took to the positive reinforcements and has learned to love doing all her tricks and obedience training skills with great recall. If there were more classes we could take with Steph, we would absolutely do it. If you are looking for a reasonably priced, very effective training class for your dog Steph is the way to go!

The selection of products is VAST but pricey, yet it’s nice to get everything you need for your pup at one store. It’s very cute to see the puppies and dogs being trained right near the entrance of the store when you walk by. but I always wonder how distracting and tempting it must be for them since there’s so much activity happening right outside!
I definitely don’t mind shopping here when I’m near the lake and need pet supplies.

It’s a fancy store for dogs and cats not the best service but really nice place
If you need to get in and out I’d may go there again but not the biggest fan of this place there is many other places that I will rather go instead of this one

Wow I will no longer shop there. I just got a new puppy and was really excited about going shopping for him. But then Darrel helped me. Worst experience ever. He was so rude and kept talking to me like I was stupid. I was so disappointed. It is my first dog.

Well, it looks like I’m not the only member of the We Love Darrel Club! The entire staff is wonderful, but he stands out. There are a lot of closer pet stores, but this place ALWAYS gets our business. Unleashed has a small staff; they are always multiple places at once without appearing to be overwhelmed or make any guest wait. I love coming in and picking the staff’s brain about new things our kids might love and any other (usually) pet-​related conversations.
Also, Darrel always goes above and beyond to provide great customer service. My fiancé and I are huge fans of this store and everyone that makes it a special part of the city I love.

WOW!!! Shopping at Unleashed is about as good as it gets!!! Darrel and his team go out of their way to help you and to make sure you have exactly the right product you need for your beloved furry friend. I’m a big fan of the extra services they provide — like the dog walking classes and pet adoptions. Plus — who doesn’t love that almost all the products are US made!!!

I love most of the staff! Darrel was so great about helping me try different double leashes for my 2 GSDs until I found the one that suited us best! Steph was really great with my puppy during Puppy I training. There used to be another great employee named Guy who always had great tips (like freezing sweet potato or yoghurt in the kongs), but Guy left to work elsewhere. My only peeve with this store is they are often out of stock of items I need. Jodean (the manager) even went out her way to check out other stores for the items. They were also great about letting me know when they finally got in the stuff I needed (thanks Nathan).

These 5 stars are all for one employee, Darrel T. What a freakin’ pleasure he is! I typically avoid buying in retail stores these days because better deals are to be had online and also because the retail customer experience has gotten terrible. I needed something for my pup in a jiffy though.
My pup had a wound on his foot and was licking it so I had to go buy a cone of shame. Darrel allowed me to try on the different options for my little buddy. He also volunteered to help me clip my pup’s black nails when I told him the groomer I had taken him to last didn’t do a very good job. A lot of groomers are scared to cut black nails well because they claim it’s difficult to see the quick. Darrel did with such ease and patience! What a dear!
If you go to this store and Darrel is working, you will have a great Unleashed experience!

they have a great dog wash area — blows Petfood Express out of the water. The staff was super helpful (Thank you Guy!) and the overall experience was very pleasant. My 2 mutts will keep coming back for their baths.

If I could give this place no stars I would! I went into the store today for the very first time to try out the $ 10 self-​dog wash. For starters when i first walked in I wasn’t greeted by any of the workers; there was at least three associates working. It seems as if these people don’t love animals and they all seems miserable. I had a really horrible experience today which i don’t feel like reliving by explaining but let’s just say that what happened in the store today had me leaving the store crying after being cursed out by two workers (Darrel and the lady’s name is Jodean) I will NEVER EVER GO THERE AGAIN!!!
Fellow Unilocal people please don’t support a store like this until they get knowledgeable, pet friendly, professional people who actually know a thing or two about animals and about the products their store carries.

This place is more of a fancy pet store, so its kind of like a whole foods for cats and dogs. Organic litter, non-​gmo dog food, sustainably grown cat grass, etc. I’m exaggerating, but you get the drift.
Nice to have a pet store so close to home! They have a great return policy and the staff is nice. I got my cat some treats and some dental liquid thing.
Its good, but i still get my cat food & litter elsewhere where its cheaper.

It’s Whole Foods for pets.
We spent $ 5.99 on cat grass. but it looked so lush and vibrant, I knew my cat would love it… and she does.
They don’t carry cat junk foods like Fancy Feast n shit. so, carry your ass to Walgreen’s for that.

I think I had the same experience as Gail. I came in earlier and had a great chat with the sales person (the morning guy) and came back later with my dog so I could wash him in the self serve area. I noticed a 20 something woman who did not greet me, so I asked where the other person was and she said he was gone for the day. She didn’t ask me if she could help or not. I said, I want to wash my dog, she pointed to the self-​serve area. I said, I’ve never been here, can you show me. She walked me over and pointed and left? I said, «EXCUSE ME, BUT I DO NEED YOUR HELP, I DON’T KNOW WHAT TO DO!» She then, pointed to where things where and how to attach the grooming collar etc.
Maybe this young woman is awesome with pets, but she really is pretty lame when it comes to humans. I felt like I was talking to someone who just came out of a drug induced coma. It was soooo bad, it over shadowed my entire experience. I give 2 stars due to the morning guy.

At last. .. nice to have a clean, comfortable and convenient place for pet food and supplies in the neighborhood. Even took our dog in to meet everyone, and she gives it a 2-​Paws-​Up review (which is very good).
Also appreciate the clean and efficient dog-​bathing room in the back.
