These apartments are listed as «amazing luxury condominium rental homes,» however, I have not found this to be my experience. When my roommate and I moved in, we had to clean the apartment(think…finding little hairs in the shower when I hadn’t even used it yet). I can hear the neighbors upstairs(such as when they drop something or flush the toilet/brush with an electric toothbrush) and soundproofing just lacks in general. The windows are poorly insulated and not only do I hear everything(talking and traffic) that happens on San Pablo Ave., my room, which has the balcony, is usually about 10 degrees colder than the rest of the apartment because of the cold the windows/sliding door let in. I have also had a terrible experience with actually getting a response from the property manager. On a positive note, the maintenance guy is really nice and really wants to be as helpful as possible. For the same price you can get an apartment in a quieter location, closer to Emeryville shops, a fitness center and a staffed office.
