Only taco truck I know that serve steak cheese fries! This my second time coming here.

the tacos are grate, the service is fast and polite and is basically ¹¹⁄₁₀

Heard they have the best steak fries. So, i gave it a try and its the best ive had. I ordered the steak cheese dries and added shrimp and it was so delicious. Highly recommended for the steak cheese fries. Next time i go i will try the other stuff. The neighborhood is like any other east oakland taco truck so nothing new and the ladies whos in the truck were friendly.

Best carnitas in Oakland and probably the entire Bay Area. My favorite taco spot.

Nothin beats steak fries from here. Especially with shrimp I literally will drive out here from Pittsburg whenever I crave their food. You can’t come to the town without grabbin food from here! The foods cooked fresh, and comes out hot. It gets pricey, depending on what you want on your fries; but I never mind cus I’m always satisfied. I only gave 4 stars because I hate their location.

Came here the other day on a whim, or should I say originally because people were raving about them here on Unilocal and I had to try. So we came here to get an order of cheese steak fries for a snack and I’ve gotta say it’s in a scary area and I’m not used to it but the fries are good and the portion is big, good for two people plus extra. Lots of good cheese and a lot of meat to compliment it. I just can’t say it was amazing enough that I would go back for, because like I said the neighborhood isn’t the finest.

Carne Asada Fries?! In Oakland. We drove across the bridge just to try this taco truck out.
We didn’t think the fries would fill us up, so we ordered a steak burrito to share. This was the best burrito I’ve had! No sauce needed and the rice was not at all dry! It also came with pickled carrots and jalapeños! I was eating those with the fries. Yummy!
On to the reason why we’re here! The carne asade fries! The fries itself was still crispy! We brought our own orange sauce from La Vic’s, but these fries did not need it. It was so good on its own!!!
We are fans. Thank you for fresh food and yummy fries!

This taco truck is the bomb and open ²⁴⁄₇. I always get the famous steak fries and tacos!

Sorta long wait but totally worth it :)

There’s a grand opening sign on the corner. the food truck also has the name ;marisco manzanillo” on it menu consisted of cheeseburgers, jarrittos, burritos, tortas, and tacos. not much pricing available.

–pretty good sized, had macho sour cream, chewy and gristly beef, pinto beans and rice. inside was just gooey creaminess. some garnish and light salsa given.
–some beef also dried, overcooked.

They have great cheese steak fries here. My boyfriends goes back and forth from Oakland from time to time and I always ask him to bring me back some cheese steak fries.
I haven’t tried anything else besides this. The prices for the burritos seem to bit more pricey than regular taco trucks. I’m good with just ordering the cheese steak fries though.

they get 4 stars cuz of the cheese steak fries! it is so yummy! we drive 20 minutes just for these fries… even when it’s raining! e 14^th & 54^th parking lot of sun hope!

I always get a steak burrito with rice, beans, onions, sour cream & cheese and I’m always satisfied with it.
Another thing I order is their steak cheese fries with sour cream & cheese only and ketchup drizzle all over it. I only like to eat it right when i get it. I dont like to wait til I get home cuz then it doesn’t taste as good as when it’s really fresh. Yes it’s only meat with fries but I love it. If you want to get more things on it, tell them you want extra things on it.
I’ve been coming here late night for hella years. Took away a star cuz of it’s ghetto area.

so somehow, we ended up here [don’t ask me how, i got free drinks that night]. i tried the carne asada and carnitas tacos. the carne asada is not that great. not alot of flavor and it’s pretty greasy. HOWEVER, the carnitas was surprisingly good. surprisingly delicious, actually and full of flavor. we also tried the steak cheese fries, which is basically just fries with cheese and bland carne asada on top. they didn’t put any salsa or anything on top, so it was ehhhhh.
in the end, this place has it’s saving graces. it’s cheap, open late, and has some damn good carnitas. would i go out of my way to go here? nah. but if el novillo closes on me again i guess this would be the back up plan.

I went by to check out this taco truck and the experience was very pleasant. In addition to my order of three tacos ($ 1.25 each), their menu also featured burritos, tortas, and burger and fries. My chitlin and pastor tacos were outstanding while the lengua was decent but did not impress. I must say that their pastor was one of the best I’ve tasted and it was way juicier and more flavorful than any of the places I’ve been. Service was personable and friendly. It was very considerate of them to put a little bag of pickled carrots and jalapenos in my bag and they were perfect compliments in between each bite. I hope to come back to check out their pastor burrito or torta for my next visit.
The truck is usually parked in an empty lot and has two tables and chairs for those who wish to chill under the sun.
