I have over 5 years professional experience as a doula and have been studying to be a midwife for 9 months now. History

Established in 2012.

Growing up my mother was an aesthetician and had her own salon called «Danielle’s Touch». As I honor and serve mamas I thought why not give a homage to my own mother! my intent is that every client feels loved and supported from receiving either my doula or midwifery care.

Hello, my name is Sumayyah Franklin, I am a doula and student midwife. My dream is to be of service to as many womyn and female identified people as possible, in assisting them in their becoming pregnant, birthing experience, and post-​partum care. I firmly believe that when you are called to do something, it lies in the very fabric of your being. For me, that is healing work. During my senior year of college, I traveled to Ghana where I assisted many birthing womyn in a birth center setting for a year. During this year birth became an everyday part of my life. I was able to experience birth as a natural aspect of life, which is one of my motivations to continue on this path. Currently, I am an apprentice midwife under Andrea Ruizquez and humbly bow to fulfilling my calling.
