I don’t particularly like nor dislike Subway. But it is affordable and half way decent. This location though, wow. This location is super convenient and a great location. A Subway in the subway(Bart). Great marketing that they don’t even take advantage of. I have issues 8 out of 10 times that I go to this location. The ladies always working behind the counter are not friendly and are almost always in the back when I walk in. So I have to wait for them to decide to come out front. Then they act as if it is a chore to serve me. The pricing is inconsistent. If not having a sandwich toasted, there is no tax. But for them, sometimes there is and sometimes there isn’t. I rarely get a toasted sandwich, so I see this inconsistency a lot. When I have questioned it, they say«I just push the button. It’s already there.» I tried to explain that there is not supposed to be tax on cold sandwiches, but they act like they don’t understand. i went in once when the person before me apparently stole the tips from the tip jar and the person behind the counter tried to get me to run after the thief. Really? I’m your customer. You want me to be late for work and run after some thief who may have a gun, when all I want is my sandwich. I’m sorry you got ripped off but I’m not a vigilante. So the lady ran out from behind the counter to go after him and left me standing at the counter alone. Wow! for maybe $ 8 – 10 dollars in change if they were lucky? It’s a good thing I wasn’t a thief. Being left in the store alone while the worker was clearly not focused on me… well, I’ll leave that alone. i used Apple Pay at this location when it was first introduced. But now it doesn’t work and they don’t seem to know why or care. i did report this to Apple, which you can do here This location has so many problems, and the franchisee clearly doesn’t care. Just reading the Unilocal reviews in evidence of that. Subway really needs to send someone to investigate and re-train the staff. It makes the whole brand look bad. When there are this many consistent bad reviews, someone should take action. How many thousands of people walk by this location just feet from the Bart entrance every day? I wouldn’t be surprised if their p&l was in the red. In a location like this, they should be thriving.

I would rather hear the death rattle of my only child then to be forced to ever eat here again.

This subway is horrible. The sign says that they open at six am, their franchise website says they open at six am. So when I got here at 6:05 I was confused why it was not open. So I asked the worker, what time will you open. She ignores me and proceedes to set up. At 6:20 I asked again, she said«I dont open until 6:30am» to which I responded but your sign and website says you should be open right now. I continued to wait only to get a subpar carelessly made sandwich with a bad attitiude. If you want to eat Subway I suggest you patronize any other franchise but this one especially if your in a hurry as they do not honor their opening hours or quality of product.

I like Subway in general, but this location sucks although it is convenient. The lady who served me was rude made my sandwich as if it such a drag… Hey Lady! you work there! stop having an attitude with the customers! I have mayo and mustard on half my sandwich and the meat and add ons are not distributed evenly. So, therefore, I wouldnt return. I much rather take a walk and go to the one near the Oakland library.

My two stars are just for the sandwich. I came down here during my lunch break because I was working here just for the summer. The ladies working behind the counter had a really, really thick accent. I couldn’t understand what they were saying. I didn’t know what I was asking them to put on my sandwich. They kept on saying, «What? What again?» I paid and left. I have had better service than this.

This was a great location but the service was left to be desired. They want to honor any of the ads that was currently running on TV. And they just was in total denial. I gave them a coupon from the Sunday circular and they said that it was not going to be honored. Thats when I thought that they didn’t care about their customers and I left. This was not a good experience.

Typical subway. Food appears fresh. They run out food items occasionally. Would visit but may wait for $ 5 footlong sub prices.

I am a regular here since it is more affordable and lower fat/calorie than Specialty’s around the corner. On the days when I go to lunch late the hard bread pisses me off but it’s a Subway and it is decent enough for my four bucks! Try the flat bread once in a while, it is worth the extra few cents.

This Subway is very convenient for those individuals who ride the subway on their commute. This is simply because this particular Subway is situated right inside of the 19th St BART Station(Subway!) Ok now I’m done with the Subway in a subway jokes. But seriously, everything is typical of an ordinary Subway, but the service here is above par. They greet you when you come in, they are very patient making your sandwich, and are not put off with changes or substitutions. I don’t even commute on BART, but I find myself coming here when I am in the mood for a Subway fix.

I’m sorry, but BART is not a real subway. It’s just a metro rail system that happens to have a few underground stations. So this Subway just gets rated like a typical Subway franchise: standard semi-healthy sandwiches, reasonably priced. Nothing to write home about, especially in a neighborhood that has *dozens*(literally!) of really good little m&p sandwich shops. Now in New York, there’s a Subway franchise that floats in midair. *That* is something special:

Yep, it is a Subway in a subway. Not sure if it is the only one, but it is definitely the best Subway in a subway I have ever had the pleasure of eating a sandwich in. If you are in a hurry to get on the train, you can get it to go. Help make this the highest rated Subway ever by giving a 5-star review!!!

Breakfast Sandwhich — Okay the idea is a great one. I tried to go on the website to give a comment but they don’t have the option to post one. I tried the free sandwhich and coffee offered today. There were a couple of things that could make it a winning meal. The muffin needed to be toasted before you place the meat and cheese on and toast it the items placed on the bread keep it from toasting. Not toasting it makes the bread dry and unflavorful; if you try a more flavorful cheese this will help with the egg. It lacks seasoning but if this is suppose to be a healthy meal and you don’t want to season it try a different type of cheese that will more than likely bring the flavor to the sandwhich. You will get a lot of people that would like the option of having steak you also may have individuals that want more than one meat on it. Offer a juice or tea with it some people don’t like coffee. But I guarantee if you toast it first and then melt the cheese, have the option to use a regular muffin as well as the sour wheat one you got a hit.

You know what you’re getting here, which is an ok sandwich at a decent price. I don’t want to know where the meat comes from. The veggie sub is fine.
